The big question is what was the IGR when he left in 2007. The rest are not his work, the other three governors(Fashola, Ambode, Sanwa-Olu) after him did contribute their quotas to raise the IGR, so also the FG and even ordinary hardworking citizens of Lagos who came from all over Nigeria and beyond and made Lagos their home since the last 24 years or more. It only focused on those candidates with corruption cases, not just all candidates. If Obi or any other presidential candidates weren't mention, it might be that they do not have corruption cases, or they are relatively clean as far as the article is concerned. It clearly stated bubu age as in the 80s, Atiku's age as 75 and Tinunu's age as 70 years. GloriousGbola: |
I don't think the report is about presidential candidates. It only focused on those with corruption cases. Libyan President Muammar Ghadaffi has voiced his opinion on ways the conflict between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria could be solved: the division of the country into two nations. Responding to the Nigerian government, Gaddafi repeated the idea of dismantling the country, but this time suggested not two but several independent states for its multiple ethnic groups. Source: Reuters online news: March 2010 Lagos — Eminent church leaders in Nigeria yesterday rose in support of Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi's call for the splitting of Nigeria as a solution to the constant crisis in the country. They however disagreed with Gaddafi on the number of countries that would emerge from Nigeria, saying that Nigeria should be divided into six different nations.
