Business / Re: Dangote Refinery: Make It Ours Not Yours Only by SangoOlukosoOba(m): 10:10pm On Jul 21
The only mistake Dangote made was situating that refinery in Nigeria. He would have opted for Niger and transit to Nigeria via pipeline.

It was a bad move that other investors need to learn from.

There are so many beautiful, transparent and viable countries you can explore in Africa. Always let Nigeria be your last option if you thinking Africa. It’s for your own health, sanity and longevity.

Imagine frustrating an investor like Dangote, how will foreign investors think of coming here. No wonder foreign companies are running way.

You nailed it!

Why I always tell people in the diaspora never to think of Nigeria when they have thought of investing back home. We have so many countries in Africa if they adamant to invest in Africa.

Nigeria will frustrate your soul, family, business, spirit and afterlife. Dangote would have been better off if he invested in Ghana, Niger or Cameroun, and ship products to Nigeria.

If a multi billionaire can be frustrated these way, imagine what the little ones trying to invest a million dollars back home will face😀😀😀😀

Have you seen the recent poll before Biden stepped down?
Kamala and Trump are head to head and now a lot of dynamics will change. There will be lots of emotional voters...watch and see.

I hope so…..

I am just acknowledging the force of White and Christian nationalist. Those dumbos are going all out.

He was impeached twice by the house of representatives while in office for his numerous wrongdoings

Everything you said is TRUE.

But be devoid of emotions and face reality. A Kamala is a win for Donald.

I am a hardcore pro-Biden and Tinubu, and it’s all because I knew they would win.

When you start facing reality squarely, you would be able to tell yourself the truth devoid of your emotions.

Trump is evil, but at this point, EVIL WILL WIN

Democrats will rather have Kamala there than Trump and remind me how Trump lost his 2 term with even 10m more votes when he won Hillary.

When people come out to vote just because they don't want a particular person in the White House it can be dicey.

Biden did the right thing.

You made a valid point and the key word in your statement is “DICEY”

For me, I believe a Newsome and Hakeem/Mitchelle will nail Trumps coffin for good.

Maybe you didn't follow Harris when she was a senator, with Trump backing project 2025, no right thinking American will vote for him,it doesn't matter who is on that ticket all democrats will still vote democrats

I was a hardcore pro-Biden and projected his win. It will be unfair to use emotions to analyze politics anywhere.

Kamala cannot match Trump irrespective of her records and accomplishments, which is far greater than that of Trump.

Trump really has a lot of dumb followers and it will be unfair not to recognize their might. Kamala is not appealing and cannot match Trump.

Democrats love Kamala Harris i don't know where you are getting your information from

Kamala is a VERY weak candidate against Donald Trump.

The Democrats need a combo of Newsome and Hakeem/Michelle to topple Donald. They need people that Donald would not even dare to debate with. People who are intellectually sound and bogus, and same time appeal to a wider audience.

I don't think it's a good idea to dump money in individual stocks and walk away for 20 years, especially Nigerian stocks. It is better to choose an ETF or an actively managed index fund.

Thanks for your input. I have a diverse portfolio which permits me to take such risk. I am just anxious to try out Nigerian stocks. Moreover, I am not dumping much on it and only subscribing for 50k units.

You have to first defined your risk appetite (raik averse or you love risk)
Define if you would be a trader or an investor

There are many stock apps out there than you can use to monitor your stocks
Investnow
Trove
Bamboo
Chaka
Yochaa
Morgan capital
and many more. There's a difference between bank app and stock app. I use Investnow, Trove and Yochaa. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I would suggest you join some Oga's group here such as Megawealth Emmanuelmanie and co as in the multitude of advice there's safety

Thanks very much. I am just dumping money on the stocks to return after a minimum of 20 years. I don’t have plans getting into trading.

I just need a platform which you have listed for me, to have records and monitor its performance. I think I will go with Trove. It gets mentioned often on this thread.

Thanks very much!

Yes so also are other stocks.

Can you please give me a little more guide. It’s my first time purchasing Nigerian stocks.

How do you happen to monitor your stocks after purchase. Does it appear in the GT banking App, or there is a way to have access to it and monitor the performance.

I actually purchased from the mobile app.

Why I always say politicians are the same all over the world.

You cannot over run them in their Country, just dead the Idea and read how Argentina stylishly and ruthlessly reduced the Black population from the 35% to almost nothing that you have today

There's a reason why the Blacks community in the US are allowed to have as many guns as possible to kill each other unabatedly and why the US Authorities turn a blind eye to Blacks killing and unjust profiling

There's a reason Britain don't easily give Citizenship and why they deport most of y'all black folks for the most slightest reason.

You can't be in any way smarter than the folks who control your lives

So why are they complaining if they so sure?

Why are they propagating replacement theory if they so sure?

Argentina should make English their official language and improve their economy, and see if we won’t overrun them.

We are taking the choice destinations, not shitholes like Argentina

What happens in Argentina outside beef? Nothing!

This unintelligent comment of yours is one of the reasons Nigerians are hated in many parts of the world. Sometimes, I wonder if many of you really think Nigerians are the only ones on this platform. How would you feel if migrants in the country wrote such comment, what reaction do you expect from your government towards such people?

Oh! When migrants were occupying Ikoyi and exploiting Nigeria, did we feel bad about it? Let them have a taste of colonization.

We have not even started exploiting their resources and sending it back to Africa.

Like I said, they need to be patient. It’s a matter of time. History has a special way of repeating itself.

They should be patient! We are still going tocolonize the country same way they colonized Nigeria.

So now they know how it feels to be exploited right in your own country. Too early to cry!
They should ask France! It would be a Black European country in few years!

England is already Lekki phase 3. Nigerians will start determining their leaders soon. Why I have been encouraging people who Japa to have a minimum of 6 kids. Populate the entire space.

Their grand kids will be minorities in their own country.

A country where people swap babies like normal thing .

You don’t need to do it in the country, neither do you need to travel. Test centers can send swabs to you, which can be done in transparent venue with witnesses, and sent back to a reputable test lab.

The result will be mailed back to you. It’s not that expensive.

DNA testing taken from crime suspects is not the same as DNA taken for Paternity testing! For Christ sake❗️

Hello! DNA sample is the same. For what use, is what happens to be different. The baseline is that, you are using it to match another sample.

Wait ❗️ Are you mistaking DNA samples taken from suspects as the same DNA used to determine paternity ?

You're truly a slow one.

You seem to be confused! Ain’t samples used for the test, or which of the procedure is difficult?

Just submitting a swab for a test is what you have been making look like a kidney donation.

You're just a slow one. The Paternity test in this situation gave a MOTIVE but it didn't provide an explanation as to how the judge died.

Once again I go back to my original question, how will a paternity test determine what killed Mohbad?

Why are you asking lame questions? Why does the cops take DNA samples when a crime is committed? What motive warrants such? Do the questions make sense?

Is it not glaring that paternity fraud might have sm side late singers death, and the fact that the father of deceased is making such accusation will DEMAND the least qualified investigator to check that box.

Will you ask me again why police ask the victims about who they suspect, and what do you think police do with such names?

Hello! I repeat, in a saner clime, the police would have checked the box of a DNA test based on the fact that the father of the deceased is making such accusation.

Making DNA test look like heart transplant.

Can you explain to me where in the civilised world a PATERNITY TEST has been used to SOLVE A MURDER?

Here you have it.

DNA testing has brought justice to may criminals and it’s not hidden that investigators use it frequently. A Google search will pop out thousands for you.

If the accuser maintains stands that his son was killed because of a paternity fraud, the cops would explore the option without hesitation and you even knowing.

Cops can extract DNA samples from you without knowing.
