A young guy who lives with me, (not a graduate) intends to learn a skill (Handwork).

He says his interest is Electrical. (professional wiring of buildings and it's equivalents).

I have spoken to a handful of people in relation to it, and they share some reservations. Most of them said stuff like, An electrician, no matter how good, most often needs university or tertiary education certificate to get good electrical works or contracts.(Like the person, will basically or most often be getting, side works against good paying contracts). But according to them, with Mechanic, it's not so rigorous. Once you're done learning, you can start operating without much scrutiny.
Pls, This guy is 24, I'm seeking for advice here because we can't afford to make mistakes at this point in life. Irrespective of his choice, which ever one I ask him to learn, I'm sure he would go for that. I slightly feel, he's choosing electrical over mechanic, because of the stereotype people often share about mechanic being a dirty work or stuff like that. I have personally gone into learning something in the past because of how sleek and clean it is, without considering much other. I'm regretting it today. I do not want such for him.

Pls guys between electrical and mechanic, which one would you recommend for someone🙏. Pls ignore his choice. Your loving recommendation will be very helpful and appreciated🙏

It is a picture of I and my classmate/friend. I am the guy standing at the extreme right end of the picture...and he is the fair boy standing first on picture (left to right)
We use to call him "Mimi" but his real name was Jefferson. He had a twin sister called Jennifer. He is, I guess from "Mbaise" LGA of Abia state. We parted ways when My parents relocated, and I couldn't get to say bye nor inform him. Pls here is my best platform to find him...help me push it to front page. What's the most recent info you have about him? What's the current state of the school you attended, still functioning or not? Did you ever meet his family members?
