In what is considered a desperate measure, it was widely reported that Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state has denied President Jonathan the use of the Adoke Amasiemaka Stadium as the venue of the PDP Presidential Campaign rally on Wednesday under the guise of ongoing construction. This same venue which was used last week for General Buhari’s (APC) Presidential Campaign Rally has somewhat become a controversial matter as the PDP in Rivers state insists the rally must hold as scheduled. According to our sources, Amaechi in a studio interview at Love FM Port Harcourt said that the stadium will never be used by President Jonathan. Amaechi reportedly boasted that the stadium will be only used by Jonathan “over his dead body” |

Politics / Buhari Urges Upu Not To Allow Anioma Rule Delta State. by Sapeleboy(m): 7:37pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Mohammadu Buhari has called on the leadership of the Urhobo Progress Union, UPU to uphold the spirit of the Uvwiamuge’s Declarations, even as he vows to correct and redress the marginalization of Urhobos by the President Jonathan led Federal Government if he is elected as President of Nigeria. Gen. Buhari, during a consultation visit to the leadership of UPU, at Mosogar the country home of the UPU President General, noted that the Urhobo nation are known for their forthrightness and democratic values and ethos, adding that it was the democratic values that influenced the Urhobo nation’s famous Uvwiamuge’s Declaration, which he said APC as a party has respected by giving its governorship ticket to a prominent Urhobo son, and therefore should be supported by voting the APC in all elections, including the presidential election. According to him; “Uvwiamuge declaration has two major aspects; The Urhobo will for a National Party, that has an Urhobo son as the Governorship candidate, the Urhobo will not vote for any mushroom party that has no National spread. “On this score, the PDP, the other national party failed the Urhobos. Only the APC gave its Governorship ticket to your son, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor. I have therefore come to urge you to stand by your words as a mark of honour and support your son, my party, APC and myself, the Presidential candidate of the APC with your estimated one million votes.” While noting that the President Goodluck Jonathan led government has not treated the Urhobo Nation well by giving to her what is due to the Urhobo people considering the fact of the demographic and strategic position in the country, Gen. Buhari promised to address this imbalance and ill-treatment of the Urhobo nation by the PDP government. He said: “I am aware of the marginalization of the Urhobo Nation by the Federal Government and your several requests to the Jonathan Administration by the Late Gen. Patrick Aziza, during the UPU visit on 30th July, 2013 and by the current leadership headed by you, Chief Joe Omene. These requests have not been fulfilled despite the assurance by the PDP led administration. ” He also urged the Urhobos to put the Niger Delta sentiment aside, as it has not paid off and put its interest first because politics is a game of interest. “I know President Jonathan is a Niger Delta son, but this is not time for sentiments, Urhobo nation must think of her interest first and the interest of the nation. President Jonathan has not done well to you in spite of your previous support. “If you vote me and your son, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor into power in line with the Uvwiamuge declaration, I will address the request and correct the marginalisation ’s of the Urhobo nation. “It is my commitment that my government will treat the Urhobo nation fairly and they will get what they deserve in line with their electoral values and economic contributions to our great country, Nigeria.” Speaking further, he stressed that he will also address the issue of the near zero appointment of the Urhobos at the Federal level, almost total exclusion from federal matters, high youth unemployment in Urhobo land due to lack of federal projects and institutions. He also bemoaned the underfunding of the Federal University of Petroleum Effurun, the exclusion of Urhobo youth from amnesty and pipeline surveillance job and the closure of Delta Steel Company, Nigeria salt company, Ogharefe amongst others, noting that he will reactivate these companies if elected as president to create jobs for the teaming unemployed Urhobo youths. In his remark, the UPU President General, Chief Joe Omene prayed for General Buhari, saying that the APC presidential candidate will succeed in the forthcoming elections. The Urhobo leader who assembled his people to welcome General Buhari told the august visitors that the political tide in Delta state and Nigeria is changing, such that it is extremely difficult for any political astrologer to correctly predict which party will win the elections any time this year. He advised APC leadership to be committed and focused, so as to achieve its lofty dreams of winning the general elections at various levels across the state. General Buhari was accompanied on the visit by Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, the APC governorship candidate, Delta State, Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, Chief Odigin Oyegun, APC National Chairman, Hon. Abike Dabire-Erewa, Senator M. Mamora amongst others. Emerhor receives APC Guber flag Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, APC flag bearer for 2015 Gubernatorial Elections in Delta State has assured the good people of the State, that better days are at sight if and only they will muster enough courage to clip the wings of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by casting their votes for the APC during the forthcoming general elections. The Guber candidate said the Misrule of (PDP), is one of the factors in this election and that it is now left for the people to decide whether or not they want socio-economic freedom or to remain enslaved by the ruling party’s corruption cabal, pointing out that the sixteen (16) years of bad governance has retarded the economic growth and overall development of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general. The APC candidate who received his party flag from the National Chairman, Chief Odigie Oyegun, posited that Delta State must be salvaged from the stronghold of economic saboteurs who without conscience looted the treasury for themselves and political associates. He told the huge crowd of supporters at the Warri Stadium that General Buhari is a disciplined man, a fact that will need to be put to its best during the elections. Olorogun O’tega said the PDP has exhausted their leadership strategies and that Nigerians and indeed Deltans cannot afford to gamble with another four or eight years because, the same result will be repeated due to the fact that those who are seeking for election or re- election in the PDP are the same people who collaborated to promote acute poverty, unemployment and gross underdevelopmen t in the country through poor governance. Speaking at the occasion, the Presidential candidate of the APC, General Mohammadu Buhari said his interest to govern Nigeria again is borne out of his sincere desire to right the wrongs of the PDP; a party he said had brought Nigeria into the dark ages of penury, retrogression and full blown corruption. The General opined that the Nigerian people must of a necessity; take a bold step to send PDP packing, to enable progressive minds under the APC “CHANGE” Agenda to rebuild the country. Chief Odigie Oyegun, APC Party Chairman while addressing the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse 11 said the APC has prominent sons and daughters of the Itsekiri nation as leaders, elders, supporters and candidates at various levels , adding that the PDP grip on Delta South has been broken, which is why APC’s victory in the Itsekiri nation will be overwhelming. |

(I saw this on Facebook today but i don't know how true it is.) My Muslim brother, you truncated democracy with a dastardly coup and took away power from me..You made me to suffer, and you took away my opportunity to RULE Nigeria. You said you do not want democracy in Nigeria.. The same democracy you truncated, you are fighting hard to get with desperation and diabolical power..Buhari, you will suffer hard in the hand of Tinubu, who will use and dump you as he did to Nehu Ribadu.. 2011 you cried publicly when you lost election, and you made provocative statements that you will make Nigeria ungovernable for president Jonathan, which erupted into post election violence, that brought Boko Haram into existence, over 800 innocent Nigerians died instantly, their blood is still crying for vengeance on your head. Buhari, you will never rule Nigeria again.. (Please forward this letter to others until it gets into the mail box of Buhari). Note: Poster's opinion. I do NOT in any way converse support for Jonathan neither do I support Buhari. |

Dreams. Mysterious, bewildering, eye- opening and sometimes a nightmarish living hell: dreams are all that and much more. Here are 20 amazing facts about dreams that you might have never heard about. Fact #1: You can’t read while dreaming, or tell the time If you are unsure whether you are dreaming or not, try reading something. The vast majority of people are incapable of reading in their dreams. The same goes for clocks: each time you look at a clock it will tell a different time and the hands on the clock won’t appear to be moving as reported by lucid dreamers. Fact #2: Lucid dreaming There is a whole subculture of people practicing what is called lucid or conscious dreaming. Using various techniques, these people have supposedly learned to assume control of their dreams and do amazing things like flying, passing through walls, and traveling to different dimensions or even back in time. Fact #3: Inventions inspired by dreams Dreams are responsible for many of the greatest inventions of mankind. A few examples include: The idea for Google -Larry Page Alternating current generator -Tesla DNA’s double helix spiral form -James Watson The sewing machine -Elias Howe Periodic table -Dimitri Mendeleyev …and many, many more. Fact #4: Premonition dreams There are some astounding cases where people actually dreamt about things which happened to them later, in the exact same ways they dreamed about. You could say they got a glimpse of the future, or it might have just been coincidence. The fact remains that this is some seriously interesting and bizarre phenomena. Some of the most famous premonition dreams include: Abraham Lincoln dreamt of His Assassination Many of the victims of 9/11 had dreams warning them about the catastrophe Mark Twain’s dream of his brother’s demise 19 verified precognitive dreams about the Titanic catastrophe Fact #5: Sleep paralysis Hell is real and it is called sleep paralysis. It’s the stuff of true nightmares. I’ve been a sleep paralysis sufferer as a kid and I can attest to how truly horrible it is. Two characteristics of sleep paralysis are the inability to move (hence paralysis) and a sense of an extremely evil presence in the room with you. It doesn’t feel like a dream, but 100% real. Studies show that during an attack, sleep paralysis sufferers show an overwhelming amygdala activity. The amygdala is responsible for the “fight or flight” instinct and the emotions of fear, terror and anxiety. Enough said! Fact #6: REM sleep disorder In the state of REM (rapid-eye-movement) stage of your sleep your body is normally paralyzed. In rare cases, however, people act out their dreams. These have resulted in broken arms, legs, broken furniture, and in at least one reported case, a house burnt down. Fact #7: Sexual dreams The very scientifically-named “nocturnal penile tumescence” is a very well documented phenomena. In laymen’s term it simply means that you get a stiffy while you sleep. Actually, studies indicate that men get up to 20 erections per dream. Fact #8: Unbelievable Sleepwalkers Sleepwalking is a very rare and potentially dangerous sleep disorder. It is an extreme form of REM sleep disorder, and these people don’t just act out their dreams, but go on real adventures at night. Lee Hadwin is a nurse by profession, but in his dreams he is an artist. Literally. He “sleepdraws” gorgeous portraits, of which he has no recollection afterwards. Strange sleepwalking “adventures” include: A woman having sex with strangers while sleepwalking A man who drove 22 miles and killed his cousin while sleepwalking (how is this even possible?) A sleepwalker who walked out of the window from the third floor, and barely survived Fact #9: Dream drug There are actually people who like dreaming and dreams so much that they never want to wake up. They want to continue on dreaming even during the day, so they take an illegal and extremely potent hallucinogenic drug called Dimethyltryptamine. It is actually only an isolated and synthetic form of the chemical our brains produce naturally during dreaming. Fact #10 Dream-catcher The dream-catcher is one of the most well- known Native American symbols. It is a loose web or webs woven around a hoop and decorated with sacred objects meant to protect against nightmares. Fact #11: Increased brain activity You would associate sleeping with peace and quiet, but actually our brains are more active during sleep than during the day. Fact #12: Creativity and dreams As we mentioned before, dreams are responsible for inventions, great artworks and are generally just incredibly interesting. They are also “recharging” our creativity. In rare cases of REM disorder, people actually don’t dream at all. These people suffer from significantly decreased creativity and perform badly at tasks requiring creative problem solving. Fact #13: Pets dream too Our animal companions dream as well. Watch a dog or a cat sleep and you can see that they are moving their paws and making noises like they were chasing something. Go get ‘em Buddy! Fact #14: You always dream—you just don’t remember it Many people claim that they don’t dream at all, but that’s not true: we all dream, but up to 60% of people don’t remember their dreams at all. Fact #15: Blind people dream too Blind people who were not born blind see images in their dreams but people who were born blind don’t see anything at all. They still dream, and their dreams are just as intense and interesting, but they involve the other senses beside sight. Fact #16: In our dreams we only see faces that we already know It is proven that in dreams we can only see faces that we have seen in real life before. So beware: that scary-looking old lady next to you on the bus might as well be in your next nightmare. Fact #17: Dreams tend to be negative Surprisingly, dreams are more often negative than positive. The three most widely reported emotions felt during dreaming are anger, sadness and fear. Fact #18: Multiple dreams per night You can have up to seven different dreams per night depending on how many REM cycles you have. We only dream during the REM period of sleep, and the average person dreams one to two hours every night. Fact #19: Gender differences Interestingly, 70% of all the characters in a man’s dream are other men, but women’s dream contain an equal amount of women and men. Also men’s dreams contain a lot more aggression. Both women and men dream about sexual themes equally often. Fact #20: Not everyone dreams in color As much as 12% of people only dream in black and white. 1 Like |

Politics / Enugu Monarch Calls Rev Father Mbaka, ‘a Politician In The Cassock’ by Sapeleboy(m): 8:19pm On Jan 25, 2015 |
The last appears not to have been heard over the Enugu Catholic Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s new year message that President Goodluck Jonathan should forget re-election for lack of performance. The traditional ruler of Egali Amalla autonomous community in Udenu local government area of Enugu State, Igwe Patrick Eze (Waziri), said Mbaka remained a politician in the cassock . “It is better for Mbaka to join politics, contest election to have a taste of power other than calling people names, asking the president to resign. Who actually made Fr. Mbaka a judge that determines who should be entrusted with power. Rev. Fr. Mbaka should resign as a priest and join politics since he has shifted from God’s vineyard to politics,”Eze said. He continued: “The name Mbaka is an identity and not the human as there is nothing so special, simply because he is a priest in Catholic. Let him face the Catholic faithful, evangelize to win souls for God rather than tongue lashing the president as being corrupt. The Catholic preacher ought to have devoted more time, fasting and praying for the release of the Chibok girls than apportioning blames for insecurity”. The traditional ruler was displeased that the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, and the deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, visited Mbaka’s Adoration Ministry in the first place, explaining that the visit triggered the priest’s somersault. Eze pointed out that the somersault was surprising as he had earlier blessed Patience Jonathan to continue as Nigerian’s First Lady after the 2015 general elections, pointing out that the u-turn was a clear manifestation of a politician in cleric uniform preaching politics instead of the word of God to over 30,000 worshipers every Wednesday. “Mbaka, having said that one out of the four birds he released on the First Lady’s visit to the Adoration Ground refused to fly, indicating that Jonathan would not be re- elected as president, what happened to the other three that flew? Can’t the three fight for Jonathan if actually the message was divine?”, he stated. “My new year message to my community and the state generally is not personal on Fr.Mbaka as the biblical injunction says ‘’ touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm’. Mbaka should equally know that Jonathan was also anointed by over 150 million Nigerians in the 2011 general elections in the country”. On the claim by the priest that he has been receiving threat messages since the new year message in which he asked Nigerians not to re-elect Jonathan, the monarch asked Mbaka not cry wolf where none exists as he ought to have delivered the message about the bird that refused to fly to the First Lady during her visit to Adoration Ground. “If Gen Mohammed Buhari, with the APC presidential ticket, was Fr. Mbaka’s choice, let him campaign for him through his sermon and pull over 30,000 worshipers of the Adoration to the APC. The January 4, 2015 message to the congregation was meant to discredit Jonathan’s transformation agenda (TAN) of openness, fairplay justice, honesty and accountability”, Eze stated. “The clerk delves into politics in the name of God. During the era of erstwhile Governor Chimaroke Nnamani, Mbaka vowed to drop his cassock should Chimaroke win election for second term in office but failed to keep his words when Chimaroke was re-elected. ‘’During the time of Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo as National Chairman of the PDP, he preached a message titled, Nsukka Ndo nu (meaning Nsukka sorry) to slight the teeming population of Nsukka. “It is only in Nigeria that you see men of God that predict what will happen in other countries both in the air and under the sea but would not predict the collapse of their churches. We expect men of God to preach messages of salvation and repentance, pray for the survival of the nation rather than delving into politics to gain cheap popularity. “Most of the men of God crave for recognition and that is why they mount the pulpit to attack those in the authority in the country. If Mbaka feels threatened, let him seek police protection but he should equally remember that he has laid his life for Christ on the day of his ordination.” 2015 ELECTIONS The monarch urged the electorate to use their tongues to count their teeth in the next month’s general elections. Saying politicians employ all manners of antics to find their way into the corridor of power, he said: “We should all be aware that the unity of the country is paramount no matter whose ox is gored. Elections are not a do or die affair. Power belongs to God, so people should not force themselves into power to the detriment of the electorate. “Nigerians have waited for so long for the 2015 general elections and we should go about it with the fear of God who is ultimate decider of life and death. Any contestant that loses out should quietly wait for God’s appointed time if any, as we do not deserve violence and blood bath as recorded in 2011. “May I use this medium to advise all PDP guber aspirants litigant to sheath their sword and join hands with the consensus candidate, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who was anointed by Gov. Sullivan Chime, the National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Adamu Muazu, and Enugu State stakeholders who described Ugwuanyi as the most popular and acceptable candidate to fly the flag of the party in the state. The sweetest part of Chime’s administration was fulfilling his avowed promise of giving the guber ticket to Enugu North unlike his predecessors who made similar promise but reneged. Governor Chime stuck his neck for Nsukka to produce the next governor of the state and that is the more reason all the litigants from the zone in the PDP should wind down and join hands with their kinsman, Ugwuanyi, for effective governance. The zoning formular that played out in Enugu is now a template for continuity. God has been merciful to the people of Enugu through Chime. I believe Ugwuanyi will deliver as expected. 1 Like |

Don't stop spreading it until every Nigerian is aware and know the REASON ACF ,,,,,,AREWA CONSULTATIVE FORUM|,,,,,,,,, and the northern are fighting PRESIDENT JONATHAN.... Share it if you believes!!!! OBJ was brought out from the prison by the cabals and made him the president of the country in 1999 with an agreement to return the power back to the north after his 8 years which he did successfully by given it back to Yar adua!. Unfortunately death which is not in perfect control of any being cut short Yar adua’s 8years to 2years. By Divine Providence after a long thread of disagreement. "Of you will and You will not", until a matter of necessity by the senate brought in PGEJ to this glorious seat. 2009 President GEJ promised to conduct a free, fair election in 2011. A better one than the one that brought in Yar adua, which Yar adua admitted was fraudulent. Such election that international and local observer recognized fraudulent never recorded any single death of an ant talk of a human soul, why? Bokoharam was not release against him even though they have been there before now. Why? Because Yar adua is from the north, and no violent was recorded against him. That never stops the silent burning of Christian churches that has been in operation even before Yar adua’s tenure in the north without any alarm raised or noticed by any agency. Non of the Imam’s or Emir’s nor Sultan’s condemn it then bc bokoharam was gradually uprooting d trace of Christianity from the north in their favor, In 2011 during President Jonathan re election, the north rose up again. That the southern region has completed their slot since OBJ has rule for 8years. So is the place of the northerns to produce the next President not the south south, GEJ has no right to think of contesting for it.. Several threats of war of words started emanating, lawal kaita then said if GEJ insist to contest and any attempt to disallow the north to produce the next president they would make Nigeria government ungovernable. 2011 came election was conducted; President GEJ won with a landslides victory! One of the fairest and freest elections ever conducted in the history of Nigeria recognized and approved by local and international Observers. ....Wao heaven was let loose! Those who have vowed to make Nigeria government ungovernable and their agents released their foot army on the poor civilians. Unleash mayhem on every known supporter of PGEJ. The innocent Youth Coppers who were faithfully serving their father's land were the first victim. From then on it has been songs and words of war all day. An attempt to get back the power they assumed they have lost to the south south since Yar adua die which they felt it was a cheat on their side but they forgot they have ruled Nigeria more than any other region. With this mindset the Northerners have determine to get the power back at all cost. This actuary makes them to come together under one political name APC to wrestle back the power to the north. If not! FASHOLA was the perfect candidate to have been promoted for the seat under APC but no! is OPERATION POWER MUST GO BACK TO THE NORTH.! Based on permutations and calculations with a neat analysis to know how to plot their graphs to get back the power they decided to use the insecurity tool and corruption slogan to get at president GEJ. Because they noticed that the transformation agenda of president affected every sector. So it is very impossible for them to find him wanting of not performing in any of the sector They decide to attack him with insecurity and kidnapping, maiming of young and old age destroying of our villages burning of churhes and schools mosque in the north, capturing our territoty in the north with their army all an attempt to PRESSURIZE GOODLUCK JONATHAN so that he can foolishly and undemocraticall y reacted as to accuse him of Genocide, War crime as to call for his impeachment. (“OPERATION POWER MUST GO BACK TO THE NORTH”). A plot just to return the power back to the north because they assumed they lost it to the south south since Yar adua die. Every available object has been thrown at PGEJ just to get back the power back to the north. Any kind of unfriendly names has been thrown at him, name them! Mr Clueless! Mr weakly! Mr thief! Mr corrupt! Mr kidnapper So on! and on! They have kidnapped our children rubbish his government before the international community all to make GEJ react unjustly, undemocraticall y and hijack the power back to the North OBJ leveled ODI in Bayersal and Zaki Ibiam in Benue he was not threaten of WAR CRIME, GENOCIDE or was he threaten with impeachment.. Reason! there was an agreement to return d power back to the north after his 8years which he did successfully. So there was no need impeaching him or accusing him of genocide. PGEJ had no agreement with any cabals or persons before he got this power. And he has not level Borno, Adamawa, Yobe like OBJ did but impeachment, genocide and war crime song has been going on in d lips of the northerners. Crucify him! ! ! ! Kill him! All because “OPERATION POWER MUST GO BACK TO THE NORTH”!! Nigerian are not fools!!!, No corrupt president like OBJ in all ramifications but he had free hands to rule for complete 8 years without any form of threats even seeking for third terms, No government in the history of Nigeria has ever ACHIEVED WHAT President Jonathan has achieved so far. The fight President Jonathan is facing from the northern region is because they NEED THE POWER BACK TO THE NORTH…. Nigerians don’t sell to your future to those who has been ruling us for the past 35 years and was not able to develop our country but succeeded to breed Shoe shiners, Nails cutter, scavengers and Boko haram and the poorest region in Africa and the world at large.. We stand for One Nigeria, We are not terrorist, We are not vampire, We are not Suicide bombers! The killings must Stop, The kidnapping must Stop! We are Nigerians and we love ourselves….. Lets the enemy that invade our peace, joy to leave us alone! With one voice we shall secure our country nigeria, we have no other country call nigeria, Lets stand for peace, Lets stand for one Nigeria!!! No particular region is monopoly of POWER… Walk with the man with a vision of NEW NIGERIA, A NEW FUTURE IN NIGERIA Where there is no Northern and No Southerner BUT ONE NIGERIA … Don’t be deceive PRESIDENT SEES A BRAND NEW FUTRUE IN NIGERIA, Rome they say was not build in a day, A collapse Country like Nigeria in the past 48 YEARS cant be built just in 4 years…… PRESIDENT JONATHAN IS WORKING!!!!! NO REGION IS MONOPLY OF POWER IN NIGERIA !!!!! POWER MUST GO BACK TO THE NORTH IDEAOLOGY MUST STOP!!! WE SAID NO TO IT… LEAVE PRESIDENT JONATHAN ALONE…. Politics / Shekau Brand NIGERIA SOLDIERS Cowards by Sapeleboy(m): 3:52pm On Jan 22, 2015 |
Boko Haram leader, Shekau, brands Nigerian soldiers cowards; says Baga weapons enough to win war. The controversial leader of the Boko Haram terror group Abubakar Shekau on Tuesday declared the duo of President Goodluck Jonathan and his 2015 arch-rival, Muhammadu Buhari as infidels who cannot rule Nigeria. He declared that the war he is waging would soon bring democracy to an end. Mr. Shekau who spoke in a 36 minutes video released via YouTube also warned that more killings and attacks would be recorded in the days to come as he boasted that the quantum of ammunition his group has so far seized from the Nigerian army especially in Baga would be enough to prosecute a war against Nigeria. The man whom Nigeria military authority had declared dead on three occasions in the last two years said his group would soon bring Nigeria to its knees and warned the governments of the neighbouring countries, comprising of Chad, Cameroon and Niger of similar attacks. Mr. Shekau who appeared in the video standing in front of three patrol jeeps mounted with anti-air assault guns was dressed in his usual military khaki with an AK47 hanging from his shoulder across his chest. He delivered his long speech, first in Arabic which lasted for 17 minutes and then in Hausa for about seven minutes. BBK 3 He ended his speech by burning a Nigerian flag, and replacing it with his group’s flag that had a black background and white inscription. The full translation of his speech reads: “We thank God for making us enter Baga and Doro-Baga in victory. We have today declared Baga as part of our territory and one of our operational base”. “Jonathan you are in trouble. All governors of Nigeria are in trouble. All these war equipment that you see being displayed in the screen are gotten from Baga and Doro. Your army kept deceiving the world that you can’t fight us because you have no arms. Liars! You have all that it takes; you are just coward soldiers. You forgot that it is God that arms. Is it not amazing that we, who started with sticks and machetes, are today the biggest headache to the almighty Nigerian soldiers? What a shame!! “Jonathan is it not shameful that now even your supporters are insulting and causing you? This should be a sermon to the world that you should not trust in humans. Any one that trusts a man will end up regretting. This is just the beginning of the killings; what you’ve just witnessed is a tip of the iceberg; more deaths are coming. This will mark the end of politics and democracy in Nigeria. This is to confirm to you that we carried out the Baga massacre, and we are going to do more. “Nigerians are busy with politics, hailing Buhari! Buhari, Jonathan! Jonathan! Do you think the two of them are spared? Do you think even Buhari is a good Muslim? Buhari is not a Muslim as far as we are concerned – He is nothing but an infidel and our enemy. “Muhammed Yusuf, the president of Niger, so you too have the temerity of coming out to pay sympathy visit to the Francois Holland the President of France. Is this your true character? Muhammed Yusuf, you have amazed us. You shall soon see our wrath, very soon. “And you, Paul Biya, the president of Cameroon. Now you are asking for foreign assistance; please don’t waste your time because God is more than all the help you will get. BBK 4 “And even you Idris Debby, you are not spared. You guys have acted too late, very late. “Before I end my speech; I want to react to a radio broadcast from France where the French said they are enemies of Islam and the prophet of Islam. I am going to read the France statement (he tried reading a French statement) In that broadcast the French government and people after insulting the holy prophet of Islam said a war against terrorisms is the same as fighting Muslims. “After this I will be setting ablaze the Nigerian flag just like we always do in all the places that we have conquered. It is a useless flag and its relevance would soon be a thing of the past. We are now showing the world all the arms and ammunition that we got from the Nigeria army barracks in Baga, Doron- Baga, Mile-4 and this barrack. What we have in our armoury now, plus all that we had before is enough to execute a victorious war against the whole Nigeria. Shekau was later shown in the video setting a Nigerian flag on fire, and hoisting a Boko Haram flag. He then lifted a black flag with Arabic inscription as he recited an altered version of the first few lines of the Nigeria National Anthem, speaking in English: Boko Haram “I pledge to Allah, my God. To be Faithful Loyal and Honest. To serve Allah with all my strength. To defend his Islam… Allahu Akbar!! Nigeria is dead; her constitution is dead!! Islam and Islam; war by war upon the Kafir who is the unbeliever”. The concluding parts of the video showed a footage of some Boko Haram members setting flags of Nigeria on fire as one of them was heard saying; “and say the truth has come and falsehood has disappeared; verily falsehoods are bound to disappear”. One of the Boko Haram members who was dressed in a kaftan with a belt on his waste and a turban around his head conducted the camera around a large a cache of arms and ammunitions, as he gave details on each weapon and how they were obtained. “All these arms and ammunition you see in their thousands are gotten from Baga. We thank God for making this possible because he says we should always thank him for every good thing he does and he shall give us more. Words cannot express our gratitude to him. It is his mercy for us that is why we got them so easily. God says he would test us with all that he gives us; so we know God will be waiting to see what we would do with these things. Insha Allahu we are going to do his work with these arms at our disposal. We are going to sacrifice our lives in doing God’s work. “As you can see we have thousands of AK 47 rifles, we have so much that we are still conveying them to our camp here. We have AA, we have different kind of them that can be mounted on vehicles. We have Shell Car; we have RPGs; We have mag and so on. We cannot just mention them. We have dozens of vehicles and thanks to God that has given us”

…Says anybody who means well for Nigeria’ll support President FROM JULIANA TAIWO-OBALONYE, ABUJA Former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Bada mosi Babangida, has said President Goodluck Jonathan means well for the country and that anybody who means well will support the president to ensure Nigeria survives as a united country. This is just as President Jonathan commended the former president’s role in ensuring that the country remains united and her people live in peace. Both spoke when President Jonathan accompanied by National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd); his Chief of Staff, Gen. Jones Arogbofa (retd); Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; former Governor, Peter Obi and Senator Ahmadu Ali alongside others, paid him a visit at his hilltop mansion in Minna yesterday. Babangida in response to Jonathan’s earlier remarks said, “What I will say is simple: The President means well for this country and he is working well for this country. Anybody who means well for this country should support the President to make sure that Nigeria survives as a united country.” Jonathan who described his meeting with Babangida as fruitful told newsmen after the closed-door meeting that he was in Minna to visit the former military leader because he just returned from a medical trip abroad and to discuss like father and son. He said, “First and foremost, I have to use this opportunity to appreciate our leader, President Babangida for his leadership, his commitment to ensuring that this country is united and we live in peace. “Of course, you know that this is the end of the year. Within this period, people pay visits. So I have come to visit him. You know he just came back from a hospital abroad, not too long ago. Since he came back, we have not seen. I need to see my father to know how he is feeling. I am quite pleased the way I have seen him. “Of course, you all know that as a nation, we are facing challenges: security challenges all over, not just in the North. Yes, Boko Haram in the North. The South is not safe: commercial kidnapping and robbery. “He is one of our experienced leaders. As somebody who is sitting where he was before, I needed to see them from time to time to listen to their suggestions. That is one of the areas we can collectively move the country forward and ensure that Ni gerians live in peace. “That is the key thing and I am quite pleased that we had fruitful discussion,” he said. sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=97496 1 Like

Politics / Governors,busin Essmen,others Donate N21.27bn To Jonathan. by Sapeleboy(m): 1:15pm On Dec 21, 2014 |
President Goodluck Jonathan’s reelection bid received a major boost on Saturday as businessmen, multinational organisations, interest groups and individuals donated N21.27 billion to support his campaign for the 2015 presidential election. The naira rain was at the Peoples Democratic Party Fund Raising Dinner held at the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The Chairman of the occasion, Tunde Ayeni, set the ball rolling, when he announced a donation of N2 billion. Ayeni said the sum consisted of N1 billion donated by him and his partner and another N1 billion contributed by their unnamed friends. Players in the Oil and Gas sector announced a donation of N5 billion; those in Real Estate and Building donated N4 billion; Transport and Aviation, N1 billion; Food and Agriculture, N500 million; Power, N500 million; Construction, N310 million; Road Construction, N250 million; National Automative Association, N450 million; and Shelter Development Limited, N250 million. The Chairman of the fundraiser committee, Prof. Jerry Gana, said his friends and associates in the power sector were donating N5 billion. The PDP Governors Forum announced a total donation of N1.05 billion. The Bauchi State Governor, Isa Yuguda, who spoke on behalf of the PDP governors, said each of the 21 of them would donate N50 million each. The SIFAX Group announced N100 million donation, while PDP stakeholders in Rivers State supported Jonathan’s bid with N50 million. The 15 states on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission donated a total of N15 million, among other donations. Several private individuals also gave donations. Joseph Makoju, representative of the Chief Fund Raiser and Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, said his principal, who was outside the country, did not leave a mandate. Makoju, however, promised that as soon as Dangote returned to the country, he would personally see the National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Mu’Azu, to offer his support. Makoju assured those at the event that his principal would justify his position as the Chief Fund Raiser with his donation. Donation pledge forms were made available to guests at the event for personal donations. Jonathan, in his remarks, described Saturday as a special day, due to the fundraiser. He thanked the donors, while assuring them that the funds would not be wasted or misused. “I thank everyone who made donation tonight,” said Jonathan. The President stated that the money was for the PDP, stressing that the amounted generated would help to run the PDP better. ‘2015 elections will be competitive’ Gana admitted that the 2015 general elections would be keenly contested. He warned the leadership of the party, which has President Goodluck Jonathan as its presidential candidate, not to underestimate their opponents. Gana, a former Minister of Information, said the coming elections would be competitive because it is going to be more of a two-party contest. He said: “Therefore, the PDP must not take things for granted. We must campaign very well. We must not underestimate the opponent. Because we have been in power for 16 years, we are at a disadvantage. We need to spread the message of our achievements diligently. “The campaign should be issues-driven. While the other side will be talking of theory, we shall be showing what we have done.” Gana, also, warned the party’s leaders to ensure that PDP candidates at all levels are good ones. He stated that serious work must be done in states where the party primaries had caused rancour among members. He also warned the leaders against the imposition of unpopular candidates. Mu’azu seals fate of losers at primaries The National Chairman of the PDP, Adamu Mu’azu, sealed the fate of aspirants who lost at the party’s primaries at all levels. Mu’azu said: “Power and glory come from God and nobody else. Those who have won should involve everybody in their campaigns in order to make them family campaigns. “For the losers, I pray for you that God will answer you at a later date. Join us to campaign for all our candidates at all levels to have success.”
