You were given 3 opportunities but did not reply them, you were so lucky, that was a fair refusal.
Your spouse would have responded with whatever the circumstances was at the time.
You will have to wait for there response anyway.

Help!!!
Hello everyone
I applied for uk spouse visa 12/08/2021
I got my visa refused in 29/11/2021
Reason was “”You have not submitted the following required documents as listed above. We wrote to you on 21/10/2021, 27/10/2021 and 12/11/2021. We gave you the opportunity three times to provide your sponsors last financial year (ending April 2021 with your application date being 12/08/2021) documents (CT600 and Accounts). Each reply from your representatives provided us with the same CT600 and accounts for the period May 2019 to April 2020.
You have therefore failed to provide the required documents relating to your sponsor’s employment. These documents are specified in the Immigration Rules in Appendix FM- SE and must be provided. I therefore refuse your application under paragraph EC- P.1.1(d) of Appendix FM of the Immigration Rules. (E-ECP.3.1)””
I put in an appeal immediately and I also request for a decision reconsideration on 2/2/2022 as we have been able to get the CT600 (April 2020 to April 2021)but I haven’t gotten any feedback on that yet.
To go for the appeal I hear it takes I read it takes 6-12 month.
Instead of just waiting endlessly, we are considering reapplying in March (priority)
PS: we can only use the CT600 2020-2021 before April if we are to reapply .
We feel like since that was the only reason we were refused , we stand a better chance
All opinions are welcome
Thanks in advance

Ask your husband what he earns , there’s no point in wasting your money on another application if he doesn’t meet the financial requirements, as they will still refuse it.

@sarahska,
I noticed that you got your visa in Sept 2015 and it's almost 4 years now.

When you advice that one shouldn't waste money on getting IELTS, is this information based on your 2015 experience or current UKVI English language requirements which is IELTS or UK-NARIC for certificates coming from outside the UK?

I wrote ielts because I went to a Polytechnic, but still use the 2014 ielts I wrote for my ilr last year. My sister in law sent her uni cert.to Naric and got certification back same 2015, so she didn't write ielts. Though if you feel the Naric will be stressful, you can write the ielts. Just like you said, that was 2015 experience.

2. I and my partner started dating last year and we are getting married August like i said earlier and he was the one that invited me last time i was rejected.
3. My spouse has all the necessary documents
4. We don’t have enough chats history as I deleted messages and he has changed phones too we only just started keeping some now
5. He comes to Nigeria once every year
6. We travelled together in June we have pictures from that
7. I have Bsc in accounting from a Nigeria university do I still need to do the IELTS
Would like to know if the few chat history is ok for us and the pictures we have together

I have been going through the thread it has really been helpful but i don’t mind more advice because I have been refused before. Thanks in advance @lexusgs439 and @justwise

I posted wrongly , can't find the DELETE botton

You don't need ielts, don't waste your money. Just add your Uni cert. Remember to write why you were denied, like in complete documentation bla bla bla. Try and get more pictures.

Good afternoon great people,

Please who else has done change of name within the UK on spousal visa ? Can you kindly share a guide. Thanks in advance

Just do a letter to the UKba, quote your ref if you have one and get a new passport to have a supporting document incase you need to use the new name. All they need is letter and attach a copy of the new passport to it,thats it.

Dear E-fam,

Una well done. Good work you are all doing here. God bless you/us.

I am putting together my documents for externsion and I am very confused over this proof of English competency. When I applied for the visa in 2016, it wasn't a requirement. Or was it? As I did not write the English Language tests. Is it compulsory? Are there routes to exemption I might have used then? Please help me out.

By the way, I had my first degree in Nigeria, and my MSc in Aberdeen. I look forward to clarification.

You don't need it, don't waste your money, just put your Uni. Cert.and you'll be fine.

Just do a letter to the home office with your ref if you have one and change your passport to the new name so you have a supporting document, that's it.

[quote author=Winso26 post=38464828]Hello everyone,
I am new to nairaland, I am currently waiting for my spouse settlement visa. I applied sometimes ago in December 2014, which was refused. We logged in an appeal in 2015 which was successful. The determination was promulgated in 31/07/2015, ever since I didn't hear anything from them, until I wrote to the SAT(specialist appeal Team) they wrote me back, to inform me that they have concluded on my case, that they have since forwarded the matter to ECO in Lagos on the 11th of September and they further explained in that email that they were not going to challenge the decision of the the Judge. The email also says that the ECO in lagos is now responsible for the issuing of the visa.
What's really the true, is that the spouse settlement visa can be issue in Lagos or in Sheffield? Please, if there is anyone in the house with any ideal concealing this matter, please don't hesitate to advise. Your advice and comments will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Winso26[/quote

Anything settlement is handled by Sheffield. Sheffield will send a mail to you for submission of passport.

The time frame is 8weeks from promulgated date,so relax it will come by end of this week or next week, you will send your passport back to sheffield.

Its 26,250 naira. Standard chartered bank has a customized teller for IOM,tell him to note his passport no. He can just walk in and tell them that he want to make payment for his tb test, they will put him through.

Hi All

My hubby has just done his IELTS A1 English test yesterday, he said he found it very simple.

Now for the TB test, is there only one centre to do this, and does anyone know how much it is? He was told by someone else waiting for a test they were charged 30000 Naira, is this correct?

Thanks all

I applied last year june, got refused in sept. Submitted appeal form in oct 2014,husby appeared in court in March 2015,got determination letter in june, and ukba sent in call letter on my bday(aug 27 2015). I submitted my passport to sheffield two days after call letter.

Got a mail today ,to pick up my passport in like 3-5days time.

I pray God in His infinite mercy attend to everybody going through appeal process in Jesus name.

Appeal is time consuming and could be frustrating.

Got this today:A decision has been made on your UK Visa application.  Your application will be dispatched shortly from the Decision Making Centre in Sheffield, UK.  If anyone contacts you advising that your application is still under consideration or that they can influence the outcome of your application in any way, they cannot - please report any such approach to VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk.

I am so happpppyyyy.

For those waiting for detemination letter or call letter, its best to tell your spouse to get his/her MP involved. I had my appeal in March but didnt get the determination letter until my husband contacted his MP ,who sent a mail to Sheffield. Sheffield sent the determination letter the same week the MP (JUNE 9)sent the mail.

We started waiting for call letter, after 2months and nothing,we contacted the same MP ,she sent another mail to them this week Tuesday(Aug. 25). I got the call letter on thursday(Aug 27) ,same day as my bday.

Submitted my passport,tb cert and a copy of the printed call letter today through dhl. The best email to use is: VisaSheffield@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

Hope this will help.

I got this from ukba two days back(same day as my bday): The decision to refuse your visa application has been overturned and our office is now ready to issue you a UK Visa. To complete this process we require that you submit your passport to our office at:

International Operations & Visas
Sheffield Visa Section
Vulcan House Iron, 4th Floor
6 Millsands
Sheffield
S3 8NU

It is recommended that an international courier is used to submit your passport.

Justwise thanks so much for those mails,God bless you. I pray it wont take so long to get my passport back after fighting settlement visa appeal since Oct 2014.
