september14: do u mean a visitors visa?and what documents did u use to apply?and which hotel did u use?

i recently got my 3months transit visa, in short today the 9th of jan, but i have admission in s.a and the school resumes on the 3rd of feb, and enrollment is through the 13th to 31st of jan.

please how can i work my study permit, is dit possible to convert it? if possible how long and is there any chance the school would allow me enroll.

(1)Passport,
(2)yellow card
(3)application form
(4)ticket booking(I used SA Airline)
(5)hotel booking
(6)letter of invitation (Must include certified copies of the following;host Bio-date page,statement of account and utility bills if possible or remove it and use only paid hotel booking)
(7)Passport
(8. Affidavit of self introduction
(9)Appointment letter or Vacation letter
(10)Bank statement

TYPOP: @TYPOP pls if i want to book and make reservations for my hotel and ticket for application for visa how do i go about it?should i pay for it or just do the book on hold for d ticket and hotel reservation...pls tell me how its done.thanks

The application process is the same. Duration depends on how lucky you are.

TYPOP: Ok guys. Now I have to include a signature for myself. Don't be mad if you see the following at the end of all my posts. Some questions don't need to be repeated. That's why I'm using this signature. @TYPOP can i ask pls ask what documents i'l need to apply for a visiting visa from Tanzania as i am currently studying at uni of dar es salaam...i also hold a valid residence permit here in tanzania...kindly list out the documents needed to get a visiting visa....from how to make the hotel reservation to flight booking and all...just give me a like a list of what to do and how to go bout it....thanks

Superbrain: Hi guys, please I need help.

I just returned from SA for a conference. Was issued a 2wk visa on arrival.

I intend to return I November and want to apply for a tourist visa.

How do I go about this? Would it be the same way as a fresh application? Does SA issue visa on arrival?

Please advise.

Horladortune: Guys, Few months ago, i got my SA 1 year visa from Ghana! Now a friend of mine got his SA VISA from Ghana last week as well... And he was being told at MMIA airport that they will not allow him board just bcus he got his visa from ghana. it was funny cus mine was not like that at all, is there a crime to get a SA Visa on a Nigerian passport from Ghana while he got Ghana resident permit before applying for the SA embassy there...
