1 HIGH PAY-OUTS: These schemes promise you of great returns, far above your “donations”. Some promise you 30%, 50%, 100%, 200%, etc per month. Some even promise participants 100% in 7days. This is crazy. What magic would be performed to double your money multiple times? Some actually have been paid heavily and have testified to attract others. The money those testifiers collected is the money other participants “donated”. Since there is no financial literacy involved, the schemes are bound to crash and those who are yet to receive help or GH as they call it would be told to provide another help (PH) so that they can GH the money which has already gone to other people’s pockets! That is as a result of financial ignorance and illiteracy.
2 NO INVESTMENT: The height of this ignorance is that the inventors of these schemes don’t even invest the money at all. The money keeps rotating; moving from one account to the other until it finally stops in some participants’ accounts, then the rest who are yet to receive payment (GH) will lose heavily. That is just the system. Even if the inventors of these schemes decide to invest, from where will they get the 30%, 50%, 100%, 200%, etc to pay participants? Which business can consistently yield such amounts?
FINANCIAL LITERACY
The rule of money multiplicity is found in savings and investments. If money is not invested, it cannot multiply. Therefore, to grow rich legitimately, you have to learn how to save and invest.
It takes time to grow rich legitimately. But most of us are given to avarice and megalomania. Everybody wants to get rich quick, including some of us that preach the gospel. However, this is high time we repented. We have to do real businesses.
A sophisticated investor has a long- term mentality and approach. You should invest your money and give it time to grow. You can invest and leave it for 5,10 or even 20 years.

The Nigerian army has debunked reports of an alleged murder of one Mr. George by soldiers of 174 battalion in Ikorodu.
This was noted in a statement released on saturday by the director Army Public Relations army Brigadier General Sani Kukasheka Usman.
It reads;
'The attention of the Nigerian Army has been drawn to media reports and photograph of the corpse of one Mr. George of Ogijo, Ogun State, allegedly “murdered” by troops of 174 Battalion Ikorodu. The story and the photograph were ostensibly shared by one Mr. Kenny Abel Adesanya through his twitter handle. However, investigation have confirmed that the allegation is not true, rather it was figment of Mr. Adesanya’s imagination borne out of mischief, hatred for the Nigerian Army and attempt to divert attention from those that committed the dastardly act.
For the avoidance of doubt, the location where the incident took place, Ogijo, is in Ogun State and 174 Battalion does not have any deployment there, neither do any of our troops patrol the area.
To further buttress this fact, a team was despatched to Ogijo Divisional Police Station, Ogun State, to investigate the matter. It was confirmed that the incident dates back to 8th March 2017, one Mr. George (now late), was threatened by the son of his landlady that he will invite his soldier friends to come and beat him for failing to pay his rent which was long overdue. On the said day, the tenant was taken from the compound by three young men and beaten up. The case was reported to Ogijo police station. The parties involved were arrested and their statements taken.
Thereafter, the police wanted to charge the matter to court for which the tenant and the landlady opted for out of court settlement. The young men who carried out the beating were neither arrested nor their identity ascertained by the police. The police claimed the landlady son said he used his friends. The case was however treated as assault and discharged. No report was sent to the military authorities because no soldier was involved.
On 24th March 2017, the said tenant Mr. George died in his house and his corpse was taken to the frontage of the landlady who quickly reported to the Ogijo Police Station. She was arrested and the corpse was deposited at the mortuary. The son of the landlady who is currently at large, is being hunted by the police authority.
Consequently, we wish to call on Mr. Adesanya all other persons that shared the story and the media to understand that Mr. George was not murdered by any soldier, let alone those serving in 174 Battalion and should correct this erroneous impression. Additionally, Mr Adesanya should render an unreserved apology to 174 Battalion in particular and the Nigerian Army, over this false allegation, failure of which would attract legal action against him.
We would like to seize this opportunity to advise that the media and indeed people to always cross check their facts before publication, posting on the web or broadcast.

However, notwithstanding the constraints, Golden nut has proven to be significantly profitable over this period. Before the rise in dollars against naira, Golden nut experienced 100% return on invested capital and when dollar rose against naira the percentage return dropped to 40% which is still very reasonable.

The expansion of Golden nut would cost #500 000 in asset and fixed cost, #400 000 in working capital for the first week, #100 000 in miscellaneous. Total cost is #1 000 000. Details of the cost is contained in the business plan.

Projected sales and profit after expansion
As at the time of compiling this document, 1 bag of 110 kg groundnut is capable of producing 105 bottles of groundnut. Since the factory is capable of processing 50 bags of Groundnut monthly, the output would therefore be 5250 bottles of groundnut monthly. Each bottle would be sold at #400 in Akure. Therefore, the company would turn over #2 100 000 monthly
The profit would then be #2 100 000 - #1 600 000(the monthly working capital)
Profit=#500 000. Which is 50% of the total invested capital. This means that the invested capital could be recovered within 4 months from start up. In 1 year this business is capable of turning over a total of #6 000 000 in profit.

The proposal
Golden nut has the potential to grow and expand in Akure since competitions for the roasted Groundnut market is not too much. However, the expansion would not be realised without access to funds.
