PoliticsBomb Scare In Jabo, Sokoto As Villagers Discover Suspected Undetonated Explosive by Savageman247(op): 5:24pm On Dec 28, 2025
Tension gripped Jabo community in Sokoto State on Saturday after residents discovered a suspected undetonated explosive device, leading to the swift intervention of security agencies.

According to an Arise News correspondent who was at the scene, the device was first sighted by a local farmer in the afternoon. Upon discovering the strange object, he alerted other villagers, who quickly gathered around the area and reportedly began efforts to dig it out.

The situation reportedly took a dangerous turn when the villagers, unable to remove the object manually, decided to tie a rope around it and attempted to pull it out using a camel. Security observers at the scene noted that the move could have triggered a deadly explosion.

“This was clearly a calamity averted, because if that device had gone off, it wouldn’t have been a funny scenario,” the reporter stated.

Security operatives, including police personnel and an ordnance disposal unit, later arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Residents were urged to move back as specialists worked to assess the device and ensure safety.

Authorities are also reportedly considering the possibility that more unexploded devices may be present in the area. Residents are now being sensitised to immediately report any suspicious objects and avoid tampering with them, as investigations and safety operations continue in the community.

CrimeFriend Who Vanished With ₦5 Million Reappears 3 Years Later Begging For Money by Savageman247(op): 10:01am On Dec 26, 2025
A Nigerian man has narrated how trust, friendship, and generosity took a surprising turn after he tried to help a close friend during the 2022 Christmas season.

According to him, the friend reached out asking for “Christmas money.” Rather than send a small token, he credited the friend with ₦5 million and also included a list of other beneficiaries he wanted to financially support for the festive period, since he was deployed at the time and unable to handle the transfers himself.

He explained that his friend agreed to help distribute the funds and provide a breakdown of payments. However, immediately after receiving the money, the story took a strange twist — the friend vanished.

Communication reportedly stopped completely. The last message exchange between them was on December 26, 2022, when he pleaded with his friend to please send the money to those on the list. His messages were ignored.

For over two years, there was total silence… until yesterday.

Out of nowhere, the same friend resurfaced — once again asking for “Christmas money.” Shocked by the audacity, the man simply replied with “lol.” When the friend pressed further, begging and trying to explain himself, the response remained the same: “lol.”

Despite everything, he says he has no intention of blocking him — but the trust is gone, and the lesson remains a painful one.

Sometimes, the biggest heartbreaks don’t come from strangers. They come from those we once trusted without hesitation.

CelebritiesNigerians Drag Nasboi After Deleting Tweet Supporting Controversial 2026 Tax Law by Savageman247(op): 5:41pm On Dec 25, 2025
Popular Nigerian skitmaker, Nasboi, has found himself at the center of heated backlash after deleting a tweet where he appeared to express support for the controversial new tax law scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026.

In the now-deleted post on X, Nasboi reportedly wrote:
“Tax us, that’s fine. But I’m hoping that the money is used to better this country, hopefully.”

However, his stance did not sit well with many Nigerians, who believe the proposed law would further burden citizens already struggling under harsh economic realities. The situation escalated when reports surfaced alleging that portions of the law may have been altered or “forged,” intensifying public outrage and placing those seen as supporting the policy under fire.

Facing mounting criticism, the comedian deleted the original tweet, but screenshots had already circulated widely, fueling further reactions online.

One user questioned his action, asking:
“Why did you remove this?” while sharing the controversial portions of the tax policy.

Another user, @Emarged, went as far as likening the situation to betrayal, writing:
“They have collected their 30 pieces of silver.”

Social media remains flooded with mixed reactions as Nigerians continue to call out public figures perceived as backing policies they believe are detrimental to the masses.

In the middle of heavy Lagos traffic, where every driver fights for space and patience is often stretched thin, a young man on a motorcycle proved that humanity still lives among us.

Eyewitnesses shared how traffic had completely blocked movement when an ambulance carrying an emergency patient got stuck in the gridlock. Sirens were blaring, yet vehicles had nowhere to go — until a determined bike rider stepped in.

His quick thinking and courage helped the ambulance break through the standstill and continue its race to the hospital.

FamilyHealthcare On Trial: A Nigerian’s Final Letter Sparks Outrage Over Systemic Fail by Savageman247(op): 10:28am On Dec 23, 2025
Healthcare on Trial: A Nigerian’s Final Letter Sparks Outrage Over Systemic Failures

Nigeria is once again confronted with a painful conversation about healthcare, governance, and the cost of survival, following the emergence of a deeply emotional letter written by the late Kingsley Obiekezie Aneke before his death.

In the letter, now circulating widely online, Kingsley narrated his long battle with a heart condition and how, despite years of careful management and early detection, he ultimately became what he described as “a victim of the system.”

According to the account, Kingsley had lived with a heart condition for years under the care of a trusted cardiologist. His health, however, reportedly began to deteriorate after the specialist relocated abroad — a move he attributed to Nigeria’s worsening healthcare environment and poor working conditions for medical professionals.

On November 24, 2025, Kingsley was admitted to a hospital that had managed his condition successfully for years. When his case became critical, doctors reportedly sought to refer him to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for access to a broader team of specialists. That referral, he said, was impossible due to an ongoing strike in public hospitals — a situation he noted was not isolated.

Left with limited options, his family reportedly approached two private facilities — Evercare Hospital, Lekki, and Duke’s Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital, Victoria Island. According to the letter, both hospitals allegedly demanded deposits running into millions of naira before treatment could commence.

The family eventually settled for Duke’s Neurosurgery and Specialist Hospital. However, Kingsley alleged that financial demands were prioritised over urgent medical care, describing the experience as one where billing took precedence over his worsening condition.

Despite what he described as enormous sacrifices made by his family, Kingsley lost the battle on December 5, 2025.

Beyond his personal story, the letter took a broader tone, condemning what he described as bad governance and misplaced political priorities. He expressed frustration that, while citizens struggle with insecurity, poor roads, underfunded hospitals, and the mass migration of skilled professionals abroad, political leaders remain focused on election cycles rather than systemic reform.

He also warned that private hospitals, in critical cases, often lack the depth of expertise found in public institutions, yet remain inaccessible to many due to high costs — a reality he said turns medical emergencies into financial negotiations.

In a pointed section of the letter, Kingsley criticised individuals and groups who support poor governance simply because “their tribe is in power,” stating that many Nigerians are dying daily due to preventable failures of leadership and infrastructure.

He described his death as a potential wake-up call, stressing that many Nigerians cannot even afford the level of care he received, let alone access basic medical services.

Despite the anger and pain expressed, the letter ended on a reflective and advisory note. Kingsley urged Nigerians to prioritise routine medical checkups, noting that early detection helped him manage his condition for years. He encouraged healthy living, regular exercise, and maintaining a positive mindset.

Above all, he appealed to citizens to continue demanding a better Nigeria — one where healthcare, safety, and opportunity are not privileges for the few but rights for all.

The letter concluded with a message of hope and faith that Nigeria can still change.

“As I take my leave, my hope remains that Nigeria becomes a place where healthcare and opportunities are accessible to all. May God hear our prayers and guide this country to a better future.”

The statement was signed:

Kingsley Obiekezie Aneke

As reactions continue to trail the publication, the letter has reignited national debate about healthcare reform, governance accountability, and the human cost of systemic neglect in Nigeria.

FamilyHow A Woman Died In The Same Vehicle With Me by Savageman247(op): 11:06am On Dec 18, 2025
Ever travelled a long distance with a corpse without knowing it?

In September, I embarked on what I thought would be a routine road trip from Lagos to Osun State. I had no idea it would become one of the most haunting journeys of my life.

I have always preferred the front seat whenever I travel. Not for comfort, but for conversation. I enjoy interacting with drivers, sharing stories, and keeping the journey lively. That preference changed forever on that trip.

I arrived at the park late. The Sienna bus was almost full, with only one space left at the back seat. Seated there already was a young man and his visibly ill mother. Other passengers had avoided the seat, clearly uncomfortable with her condition.

I couldn’t tell exactly what she was suffering from, but it was obvious she was very sick. Her son kept fanning her repeatedly. She was sweating profusely—far more than I had ever seen in a sick person before—like someone working under the scorching sun at a construction site.

I was the final passenger needed for the bus to move. As I sat beside them, I sighed inwardly and told myself this would not be an easy journey. I had no choice; waiting for another vehicle was not an option.

After the driver settled with the loaders and park officials, we set off.

The odour was difficult to endure, but I managed without a nose mask. I volunteered to lead the opening prayer, praying for a safe journey and also for the sick woman.

Somewhere around Ibadan, while we were still heading towards Osun State, the woman quietly passed away.

Her son didn’t notice immediately.

I did.

I leaned towards him and gently asked if he was a Christian. He nodded. I held his hands and prayed with him—prayers for the sick, and for departed souls. When I finished, I whispered softly, “I’m sorry, brother… your mum is no longer with us.”

He lifted her hand, shook her gently, and looked at me in shock.
“How did you know?” he asked.

I cautioned him not to shout. This was a public vehicle. I explained that she had passed just moments earlier and urged him to remain calm. I told him not to make any phone calls, to keep his phone on silent, and to only send text messages if he needed to inform relatives.

“This is the day you must be strong,” I told him. “This journey must not become harder than it already is.”

Through tears, he asked, “What about the driver?”

I assured him not to worry. I told him I would find a way to inform the driver discreetly. I advised him to reposition his mother carefully and continue fanning her so no one would suspect anything.

When the driver eventually stopped after I requested to urinate, I quietly pulled him aside. I explained calmly that the woman at the back seat had passed on and warned him not to turn around or draw attention.

The driver understood immediately. Acting naturally, he stepped into the bush as if to relieve himself, plucked a leaf, and discreetly placed it at the back of the vehicle—a silent signal and a moment of composure.

The journey continued.

The driver played worship songs all the way to Ile-Ife. No passenger suspected that one of us would not complete the journey alive.

When we finally arrived, I helped the young man with his belongings, offered what support I could, and quietly went my way.

It was a journey I will never forget.

If you were one of the passengers on that vehicle, I am truly sorry. Everything that was done was simply to make things easier for a helpless son in the most painful moment of his life.

HealthOutrage As Newlywed Mother Dies Hours After Delivery In Lekki Hospital by Savageman247(op): 8:04pm On Dec 17, 2025
Outrage as Newlywed Mother Dies Hours After Delivery in Gynescope Specialist Hospital, Lekki

A grieving husband has accused Gynescope Specialist Hospital, Lekki, of medical negligence following the death of his newly wedded wife shortly after childbirth, raising fresh concerns about maternal care standards in private health facilities.

According to the account, the woman had received her antenatal care at the hospital without any known underlying health issues. During her third trimester, doctors reportedly noted that the baby was considerably large. The family said they expressed concerns and discussed safer delivery options, including an elective Caesarean Section, but were advised against it and encouraged to proceed with spontaneous vaginal delivery.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the woman went into labour and delivered a baby weighing 4.2kg after an episiotomy was performed. Shortly after delivery, the consultant in charge reportedly left the labour ward, while the stitching was completed by a subordinate officer.

The husband alleged that complications began almost immediately, as his wife complained of an unusual dripping sensation. He said the consultant later observed abnormal swelling and overly tight sutures, prompting a second procedure. Despite this, her condition reportedly worsened, with continuous bleeding, loss of consciousness and extreme pallor lasting for several hours.

The doctor allegedly confirmed that the patient was bleeding internally but did not initiate a referral or seek specialist intervention outside the facility. A blood transfusion was reportedly administered without first identifying or repairing the source of the bleeding. The family claims there was a 15-hour window between the delivery of the baby and the woman’s eventual death.

In the early hours of Thursday, December 4, 2025, the woman reportedly began convulsing. Her husband said there were no medical personnel present at the time, and help only arrived after he raised alarm. He further alleged that there was no oxygen available in the ward.

When he requested an immediate transfer to another hospital, he said the consultant initially declined, stating that no facility would accept a patient without a pulse, before later agreeing to the evacuation.

The husband described the evacuation process as chaotic and deeply distressing. He alleged that a stretcher without safety guards was used, causing his wife to fall onto the tiled floor during movement from the third floor. He also claimed there was confusion among staff over whether to use the stairs or elevator, leading to further delays.

At the hospital entrance, the ambulance was reportedly parked far from the building, covered and unprepared. The husband claimed the ambulance keys were not readily available and that the vehicle’s battery had to be connected before departure. Throughout this period, he said his wife lay exposed on a stretcher without oxygen.

The ambulance eventually departed for Lagos Island, but reportedly stopped twice en route and appeared to lose direction. The woman was eventually taken to Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

While Gynescope Specialist Hospital later issued a death certificate citing cardiac arrest, the husband disclosed that an autopsy conducted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), as part of a coroner’s inquest, listed the cause of death as hemorrhagic shock, contradicting the hospital’s initial claim.

The widower said he has formally written to the Lagos State Ministry of Health, the Health Service Commission, and petitioned the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), calling for a thorough investigation into the events surrounding his wife’s death and appropriate sanctions where necessary.

“I demand accountability,” he stated, adding that he is seeking justice not only for his late wife but to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

The case has sparked renewed conversations online about maternal mortality, emergency preparedness, and accountability within Nigeria’s healthcare system.

Man Allegedly Exposes Wife’s Infidelity at Lavish 10th Wedding Anniversary in Lagos

What was meant to be a glamorous 10th wedding anniversary celebration in Ikeja, Lagos, reportedly turned into a scene of shock and chaos after a husband allegedly exposed his wife’s infidelity before hundreds of invited guests.

According to a first-person account shared online and credited to Jerry Smith, the man said he invited over 200 guests to what he described as a vow renewal ceremony, only to use the occasion to confront his wife, identified as Tolu, with evidence of alleged betrayal and long-term deception.

The narrator claimed he works on an oil rig, spending weeks offshore, while financially supporting his family and multiple business ventures set up in his wife’s name. He stated that suspicions began six months ago when their youngest child fell ill and medical tests revealed blood group inconsistencies. A subsequent DNA test, allegedly conducted on all three children, reportedly showed a 0% probability of paternity for each child.

Rather than confronting his wife immediately, the man said he quietly planned an elaborate anniversary event, paying for a high-end venue, entertainment, and inviting friends, family members, church associates, and even individuals he later identified as being connected to the alleged affair.

Guests at the event reportedly expected a romantic video montage when the MC announced a “special tribute” from the husband. Instead, the projector screen allegedly displayed DNA test results, followed by a video said to show the wife entering a hotel with a man identified as her gym instructor.

Eyewitnesses at the event described the hall falling into stunned silence before descending into confusion, with family members reportedly distressed and guests divided in their reactions.

The man allegedly took the microphone briefly to announce that the family house had been sold, vehicles retrieved, and divorce papers prepared, before leaving the venue.

As the story circulated online, it sparked intense debate across social media platforms. While some commenters applauded the man’s actions as justified retaliation after years of deception, others criticized the public exposure, arguing that the matter should have been handled privately, especially considering the children involved.

As of the time of this report, the identities of those involved have not been independently verified, and no official statements have been issued by the parties concerned.

The story continues to generate conversation around trust, marriage, revenge, and the limits of public confrontation in deeply personal matters.

Unconfirmed reports circulating on social media suggest that popular X (formerly Twitter) influencer Chuks Eric, known online as @ChuksEricE, may have been arrested in connection with a controversial video shared on his page earlier this month.

According to a source described as being close to the influencer, the alleged arrest is linked to a viral video posted in December 2025 in which a young man made serious accusations against Senator Ned Nwoko, the husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels. The video sparked widespread reactions online before the individual involved later came forward to retract his statements, claiming they were merely “content” created for entertainment purposes.

Following the retraction, discussions intensified across X, with several users alleging that legal pressure mounted against those who amplified or circulated the video. Some posts claim that Senator Nwoko influenced the arrest of @ChuksEricE, while others allege that although police initially cleared him, efforts are underway to have him transferred to Abuja. These claims, however, remain unverified.

Adding to the speculation is the influencer’s sudden inactivity on X. Observers have noted that @ChuksEricE has not posted or engaged on the platform since December 13, 2025, a silence that has further fueled concerns among his followers regarding his whereabouts.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the Nigeria Police Force, Senator Ned Nwoko, or representatives of @ChuksEricE to confirm or deny the alleged arrest.

This remains a developing story based solely on social media reports and claims from unnamed sources. Readers are advised to treat the information with caution until official confirmation is provided.

Photos: 10-Year-Old Plateau Boy Builds Power Bank and Home Lighting System Using Tiger Batteries

In a quiet rural community in Qua’anpan Local Government Area of Plateau State, a 10-year-old boy is drawing attention for his unusual creativity and practical intelligence despite having no access to electricity or modern technological tools.

Paul Daboer, just 10 years old, has demonstrated remarkable ingenuity by constructing a basic power bank using tiger batteries, enabling his parents to charge their mobile phones at home. The innovation was driven by necessity, as the family often could not afford the cost of charging phones outside their home.

According to someone who interacted personally with Paul, the young boy confidently explained how he connected the batteries to create a functional charging system that meets his family’s everyday needs.

Beyond phone charging, Paul also assembled a simple lighting system using tiger batteries and a bulb, providing light in their home at night. The makeshift lighting serves several important purposes — it allows the family to see clearly after dark and improves security by making it easier to detect suspicious movement around the house.

For a child of his age, Paul’s ability to identify real-life problems and develop low-cost, practical solutions using locally available materials stands out. His curiosity, creativity, and determination to support his family highlight the untapped potential that exists among many children in underserved rural communities who lack access to formal technological education and resources.

Observers say Paul’s story is a reminder that talent and intelligence are not limited by geography or wealth, but often require opportunity and support to fully develop.

Many have expressed hope that Paul will be connected with mentors, educational opportunities, and institutions that can nurture his abilities and guide him toward a brighter future.

FamilyTragedy In Lagos Home As Newly Employed House Help Dies Mysteriously by Savageman247(op): 11:08pm On Dec 14, 2025
A young family has raised an urgent alarm after a tragic and deeply troubling incident involving their newly employed house help.

According to a detailed account shared on Facebook by Nkechiyenre Cecilia Mbanoso, the family had only recently welcomed a new baby and decided to employ a house help to assist during the postnatal period. They reportedly contacted an agent who promised to source a suitable person for the job.

About two weeks ago, the agent introduced a young woman said to be 20 years old. After meeting her, asking basic questions, and reaching an agreement, the family asked her to resume work the following day.

However, what has now turned into a nightmare is the fact that the family did not carry out a medical examination on the young woman before employing her — a decision they say they deeply regret.

Barely two weeks after she started work, the family said they discovered the house help lying lifeless in her room. They claim she had not complained of any illness or shown any signs of distress before the incident.

Adding to the confusion and fear, the family says they do not know the young woman’s place of origin and do not have contact details for any of her relatives. Efforts to reach the agent who brought her have also failed, as his phone line has reportedly been unreachable since the incident.

In an attempt to understand what may have happened, the family searched her room but found no personal documents or identifying information. The only unusual item discovered was a small bottle containing a substance believed to be herbal medicine, with no label or name.

The family has expressed deep fear and concern over the situation, stating that they are unsure of the next steps to take and how to prove that they had no involvement in the young woman’s death.

They are appealing to the public for guidance on how to handle the situation properly and lawfully, as the incident has left them shaken and distressed.

As of the time of this report, no official statement has been issued by law enforcement authorities regarding the incident.

The story has sparked widespread concern online, with many Nigerians calling for greater regulation of domestic worker agents and stressing the importance of proper documentation, background checks, and medical screening before employment.

FamilyMother Cries Out As Son Disappears After Being Handed To Relative Without Consen by Savageman247(op): 7:06pm On Dec 13, 2025
Mother Cries Out as Son Disappears After Being Handed to Relative Without Consent

A family has raised an urgent alarm over the disappearance of a young boy, Chidera Godswill Okeke, popularly known as Dera, calling on the public and relevant authorities to assist in locating him.

The appeal follows growing public misunderstanding surrounding a photograph circulated online on Thursday. The child’s mother, Chidinma Chukwu, had shared the image while asking if it was indeed her son. This sparked criticism from some quarters, with questions raised about how a mother could fail to recognize her own child.

Family sources have now clarified the situation.

According to them, the photograph in question was presented to Chidinma as a recent image of her son, sent by a young boy who works for the woman last known to have custody of Dera. The child in the image, however, was not the same boy Chidinma left years ago with her mother.

Background of the Case

Chidinma reportedly left her son in the care of her mother while she relocated to Lagos to work and provide financial support. Throughout this period, she consistently sent money home for her son’s upkeep, believing he remained with his grandmother, who was said to be caring for him adequately.

Unbeknownst to her, Chidinma’s aunt later persuaded the grandmother to release Dera into her care, claiming she needed companionship as her own grown children were living abroad. This decision was reportedly made without Chidinma’s knowledge or consent.

For months, Chidinma continued to send money, unaware her son had been moved. It was only after noticing inconsistencies that she began asking questions, at which point the family disclosed that Dera had been taken to Lagos.

Despite repeated pleas, the aunt allegedly refused to provide her address or allow Chidinma to visit her son. The situation escalated into a prolonged family dispute, with assurances repeatedly given that the child was safe and well cared for.

Eventually, an agreement was reached that Dera would be returned to his mother during the Christmas period.

Disappearance and Arrests

Tragically, before this could happen, Dera was reported missing. Family members revealed that he is not the only child unaccounted for, as another boy, aged seven, who was also living with the same woman, has equally gone missing.

Since the disappearance, the aunt has reportedly been unreachable. Her husband and son were arrested in connection with the matter, although family sources fear they may soon be released, describing the situation as complex and still unfolding.

There are also unverified claims circulating within the community that the woman had been maltreating children under her care.

Family’s Appeal

The family has appealed passionately to the public for assistance, stressing that Chidinma did not abandon her child.

“She has been hustling in Lagos to provide for her son. She never stopped sending money or asking after him,” a family member said. “All she wants is to find her child.”

Anyone with useful information regarding the whereabouts of Chidera Godswill Okeke is urged to come forward and contact the nearest police station.

The tragic incident, which occurred between Monday night and Tuesday morning, has sparked outrage and renewed calls for justice.

According to family sources, Valentine contacted Ogechukwu on the night of Monday, December 8, 2025, at about 9:00 p.m., claiming he was unwell and unable to help himself. He allegedly requested that she assist him by purchasing medication and bringing it to his house. Moved by concern and affection, Ogechukwu reportedly bought the drugs and went to his residence, which was said to be close to hers.

On arrival, the man allegedly claimed his condition had worsened and pleaded with her to stay overnight to help care for him. Ogechukwu reportedly informed her mother of the situation, explaining that she would not be able to return home until the next morning. By Tuesday morning, December 9, Ogechukwu had not returned home. Repeated attempts to reach her and Valentine by phone were unsuccessful, raising alarm among family members. As panic spread, concerned relatives and acquaintances went to Valentine’s house to check on them.

What they found was horrifying.

CrimeNigerian Woman Survives Brutal Attempted Murder Attack As Assailants Get Prison by Savageman247(op): 10:35am On Dec 13, 2025
Justice Delivered in 72 Hours: Nmesomachukwu Johnson Survives Brutal Attempted Murder Attack as Assailants Get Prison Sentence

Justice has been swiftly delivered in a disturbing attempted murder case involving Ms. Nmesomachukwu Johnson, a Nigerian woman who narrowly escaped death after a brutal and premeditated attack.

The incident, which occurred on December 10, 2025, came to public attention after Johnson shared a chilling account of her ordeal on social media. According to her testimony, she was violently assaulted for nearly an hour by two young men, allegedly aided by their mother, in what investigators later described as a deliberate attempt to kill her.

Johnson recounted that she was pushed and rolled down a staircase in a two-storey building, kicked repeatedly on a cement floor, and beaten “like a bag of rice.” She sustained severe injuries to her knees and ankles, while her eyes reportedly bled heavily from the assault. The attackers also attempted to strangle her by holding her throat tightly, but she resisted and fought back.

In a crucial development, Johnson revealed that she managed to secretly record part of the attack on her phone before it was forcefully taken from her. The recording, alongside visible bodily injuries, later became key evidence in the case.

“Some boys with their mother planned to kill me today, but God being on my side, I didn’t die,” she wrote in an emotional post following the incident. “God is faithful. Kenere m Chim oooo.”

The matter was promptly reported to the police and classified as attempted murder. The two male suspects were arrested the same day and taken into custody, while their mother was also apprehended but later released on health grounds.

In subsequent updates, Johnson disclosed that the case was charged to court within 48 hours, with investigators presenting what she described as “concrete evidence,” including video footage and medical proof of her injuries.

In a final update shared on Friday, Johnson announced that the suspects had been found guilty and sentenced to prison on a three-count charge.

“Justice has been served,” she stated. “Within 72 hours of reporting this incident, the case was investigated, charged to court, and the offenders were convicted and remanded in prison custody. This proves that the Nigerian justice system is active and effective.”

She commended the Investigating Police Officer (IPO) and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) handling the case for their professionalism, dedication, and swift action, while repeatedly expressing gratitude to God for sparing her life.

The case has drawn widespread attention online, with many Nigerians praising the speed of the investigation and prosecution, especially amid ongoing concerns about violent crimes and access to justice.

We wish Nmesomachukwu Johnson a full and speedy recovery.

CrimeYoung Mother Acquitted In Lagos Court After Lawyer Steps In Unexpectedly by Savageman247(op): 3:37pm On Dec 10, 2025
A dramatic moment unfolded at a Lagos courtroom on Wednesday after a young mother, who recently gave birth in prison, regained her freedom under unexpected circumstances.

According to eyewitness accounts, a lawyer who wasn’t even scheduled to appear in court that day decided to walk in after being told his own matter was not listed. What he encountered left him stunned.

Just minutes after he took a seat, a young woman in her early 20s walked in, dressed in a prison uniform and holding her one-month-old baby. She had reportedly given birth inside the prison a month earlier.

The lawyer approached her to understand her situation and was shocked to learn that she had been arrested in April for a minor offence while pregnant — and had remained in custody since then. Even worse, she had been attending court proceedings without legal representation.

When her case was called, the lawyer immediately stood up and announced appearance on her behalf.

The complainant was absent. Although the prosecutor was present, they were again unprepared to proceed — a pattern that had allegedly repeated over several adjournments. The lawyer urged the court to strike out the matter and acquit the young mother, citing provisions of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) of Lagos State and relevant case authorities.

In a ruling delivered by Her Honour, Mrs. A. K. Dosunmu Uthman, the court struck out the charge, discharged, and acquitted the defendant. The courtroom reportedly erupted in applause as the young mother, identified as John Mary, walked out a free woman.

The lawyer later shared that he left the courtroom smiling, convinced that his unexpected decision to step inside was divinely orchestrated.

FamilyMystery In Anambra: Corpse That “refused” To Be Buried For 3 Years by Savageman247(op): 5:24pm On Dec 09, 2025
MYSTERY IN ANAMBRA: CORPSE THAT “REFUSED” TO BE BURIED FOR 3 YEARS — FAMILY RELEASES NEW PHOTO

A fresh photograph taken moments ago in Anambra State has reignited a disturbing mystery that has gripped Ogbunike and surrounding communities for nearly three years. The image, captured on a Google Pixel phone, allegedly shows the apparition of a woman whose corpse has defied multiple burial attempts.
The woman, known popularly as ‘Da Nnaputa’, was the first albino priestess of the revered Idemmili deity. Until her death in 2022, she was a respected diviner in Ogbunike, Oyi LGA — a figure shrouded in mystique, folklore, and deep spiritual reverence.

A Priestess Surrounded by Fear and Rumours
Locals say she was born in the historic Ogbunike Caves and was believed to have made powerful spiritual pacts in her lifetime. According to family sources, she vowed that no one would see her unclothed and live. The claim was so intense that even her husband reportedly had to be blindfolded anytime they shared intimate moments.

Her life ended abruptly on February 21, 2022, in a fatal crash on her way to Nsukka. Everyone on board, including her 8-year-old last child, died instantly. While the child was buried the next day, strange events allegedly began almost immediately.

Mysterious Well Visitor
The widower later revealed that, for several nights, he saw someone sitting motionlessly on the well in his compound. Thinking it was a night vigilante, he ignored it—until the vigilantes confirmed none of them ever visited his home.

Then the sightings stopped.

A few days later, the grieving husband visited the mortuary to see his wife’s body—only to find her still wearing the crash-site clothes. The attendants claimed they had been unable to touch her. Two workers who attempted to wash or embalm the corpse reportedly developed sudden, unexplained ailments, coughing blood before dying within days.

A Corpse That Keeps Moving
Her body was transferred from the mortuary in Adazi Ani to St. Maurice Mission Hospital in Ekwulobia. Three days later, the corpse vanished. It was eventually found in a primary school field in Ebonyi State.

The tragedies continued.

By late 2023, titled men in the extended family allegedly began shouting her name at night before dying suddenly. Each time, the corpse reportedly disappeared again—sometimes for months—before being discovered in another location.

A dibia who recommended immediate burial died the next morning from suspected poisoning.

Out of fear, the family secretly moved the body to a mortuary in Cameroon in June last year, where it has remained abandoned according to sources.

The Latest Photo That Sparked Panic
Early this year, the husband began seeing the same strange figure sitting at the well again. But it was last night that events took a frightening turn.

At exactly midnight, he woke up to the sound of deep, painful crying outside. When he looked through his window, he saw a white, motionless figure standing on the well—bearing the unmistakable shape of his late wife.

With trembling hands, he snapped a photo using his Google Pixel phone. The image was later digitally enhanced to reveal a clearer look at the entity’s face. According to him, it is unquestionably that of ‘Da Nnaputa’.

“This Spirit Is Angry”
The investigator who has been quietly following the case since September confirmed receiving the images tonight, adding that the situation indicates “a deeply unsettled spirit.”

A physical intervention is reportedly being arranged this weekend to determine what is truly happening around the compound and why the priestess’s body has remained unsettled for nearly three years.
