I checked the admission status and i saw no admission yet.

Marc9: Well, vet medicine is among d fall back courses, just dat ur chances of securing dat vet med is very slim, cos a lot of mbbs candidates dat scored higher dan u did wld hv trooped to vet medicine. And u knw hw UI does her admission, it's strictly merit based(as she claims). Those who scored above 70 but below 80 wld be chosen ahead of u, and u mite be left out.

My advice for u is to seek solace in less competitive course and try again at mbbs in d next admission

Marc9: Well, in UI, Inter-Faculty transfer is almst impossible, tho they allowed it b4, bt it created problems for them, so they stopped it. The only transfer allowed is Intra-Faculty(dept to dept, within d same faculty, whch ar related), and also in d case of withdrawal(where med&surg stdnts who are withdrawn are thrown to oda dept eida within it's confinement, or oda faculties like science and education).
Thus, the only fall back course u cld choose to stand a chance to re-align with ur desired course(mbbs) is vet medicine, cos they basically offer d same courses in part1and part2, and are close cousins!

If it was possible to transfer frm chemistry to medicine, probably there won't be any student in chemistry department den! Even the H.O.D of chemistry wld also transfer to medicine department.
