earlier on in the bible, God promised the children of abraham(isreal) lands and domination over the people of the earth but this lands were inhabited by other people. It is only logical that there will be war since this people will not readily surrender themselves to be dominated....now God demonstrates peace by first asking them to give conditons of peace..i.e.'we do not necessarily want to kill you, just submit to the will of God'. Now it is only the nations that bring war to them that God commanded to them to kill, after all you must defend yourself

i believe you are trying to say our God supports adultery..NO! According to numbers31:15-16'moses said to them,'have you let all women live?'.Behold,these caused the people of isreal,by the counsel of Balaam, to act treacherously against the lord in the matter of pe'or, and so the plague came among the congregation of the lord'. The old testament supports killing of offenders, so all women can not be spared but those(the unclean) that have had affairs with men were killed while the virgins were spared. Now 'yourselves' in verse18 doesn't mean adultery as it is plural(not just one man) and of course it excludes the married and under age..this was the judgement of moses. Jesus would have even given a better judgement as he forgave the adulterous woman in the new testament..

In history, Jesus never wielded any sword, in fact he even discouraged his disciples from doing so in matthew 26:52'then Jesus said to him,'put your sword back into its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword'. In that scripture, Jesus was telling his disciples that not many people will be happy when people receive him...he was talking about strife between a convert and unbelievers that's why he linked verse 34-35 to tell you that it is about strife within a family because a certain set of people in that family received him. Why 'a sword' and not 'swords'? 'a sword' depicts contempt or discord while 'swords' depicts war thus a careful choice of word by Jesus

Exams are near already and 'jacking tinz' ar on ma mind..u won't b getin much frm us til afta exams so i encourage u to keep d thread alive til den.. CONGRATULATIONS to those who scored above 200. Those with 200 and above have a chance 2b admited even if nt 4dier course.. One candid advice i wil giv is dat u dnt jst sit at home and wait 4manna bekoz u hv high marks,take steps. If u know a friend's cousin's uncle's friend (and so on) dat can b of help,dnt hesitate oo..a lot goes on behind da scene. Mst importantly is to trust in God, b in tune with da heavenly frequency and tap frm d father's grace

For MEDICINE aspirants, the cut off mark 4 last yr was 295 and only 85 peeps were admitted tru jamb 15 others frm pd. This year 'shud' hv a lower cut off mark nd i dnt bliv dy wil admit more dan a hundred peeps dis yr

Hmmm..one day left to seal your fate as touching admission. You should by now be able to judge how well you'll perform in the exam. Your results will be released on that day or the next so there's no suspense. Don't try to overwork yourself today, sleep well enough(it matters a lot). There are questions that i term 'TIME-WASTERS', when you come across these, do well to skip it and revisit when you are done with others, be very conscious of time and most importantly, be very VERY relaxed.

Its a function of where u chus 2b nd ur hardwork.It is true dat past questions give wrong answers, dats bkoz its someone's opinion..read d questions and provide urself with ur answer..past questions ar d mst useful tool in oau post ume. One more thing don't be LATE, oau keeps to time..

2. Pls it is in ur bst interest 2arrive earliera dan d day of d xam or d day b4 due to some factors..dere ar tutorials holding in d skul if u wud lyk 2 attend
3. Its veri veri important to folow instructions e.g shading d 4boxes on d corners of ur OMR..dnt b in haste,read instructions thoroughly
4. Speed is key,work on ur speed
5. Mst important of all is 4u to relax during d xam. Rememba 1-2 hrs dtermine a yr of ur life..take ur time with d consciousnes dat dere's no much time(se u get)
