Hello everyone, please I need some guidance.

I’m using a Felicity IVPS 3.5kVA 3524 inverter together with a Felicity MPPT SCCM6048 (60A) charge controller. I want to know the correct way to pair both so they work together properly to charge the lithium battery. Are there specific settings I need to adjust on either the inverter or the charge controller? I have the communication cable.

Recommended settings would really help. Thanks in advance.

On the inveter change the battery settings to LIB

Same for the controller. Make sure your communication cable is connected Rs48 or so otherwise you will get error 80.

please where can i get this voltage regulator... original one oo abeg....i hear say fake full everywhere and dem de catch fire

i want to add it to my db )for now until i can lay my hands on a good voltage stabilizer.....it will supply grid to my db and whenever i install my inverter it will be also serve as supply to my inverter input.

Thank you

This doesn’t work like the normal voltage regulator.

So you cant use it like a regular stabilizer.

Adjustable voltage regulator

Not automatic voltage regulator

My panels aren't giving enough yield

I don't know if its the placement cause I faced it South

The sun was pretty decent today but I never got more than 220w from each 420w panel.

I just bought the panels brand new, so I've not been able to test them properly until today when the sun still registered its presence more than ever in a while.

What brand is the panel

How does one know the original

Buy from their store

Elizkid:
Anyone has experience with Cworth 420w panels?

How close is the output compared to its official rating?

Or is there any better alternative at 89k?

The other alternative I saw is Amstrong 440w at 90k; don't know if anyone has heard of that before, so I can't ascertain how good it is.

If you buy the original one. The efficiency is great for CWorth

Compliant:
Greetings.

Please I just added 4 additional panel of 615w to my old 4 pieces of 615w and then changed the charged controller to 120.

I am using 5kva felicity inverter and 8.5 lithium battery

Kindly see the error code on the image as attached

What is the likely cause and solution

Mind you the battery is 100% charged now as we speak as the error 4 comes and go off at interval

If it is Felicity charge controller, it is factory error provided you no go above the required rating.

Good day my people. My 4 years old child put my appliances remote control in water and they have stopped working. AC, TV, Home theatre and Dstv.

I need a small phone with infrared red to use as a remote controller. I don't even care if the phone doesn't have camera. So far it has infrared red. I budget 50,000 naira. Please suggest for me.

What i need in this phone is just the infra red. That's all.

Buy IR blaster on jumia

With that your current phone will connect to it via WiFi and you can control any device

Elizkid:
Can this type of battery be revived? I haven’t tested to see if it’s still working cause it must be deeply discharged by now.

It was working before we upgraded but has been left unused since then, 6 months+.

I intend to use it for power about 50w load at a small shop during the day.

Or it’s completely useless and should be thrown away?

Try charge the battery first after that you can make your conclusion.

Anybody in this community know a trusted solar installer at Ibadan?

I stay in Ibadan.

What do you need help with ?

Who sells DC and AC breaker here please. I am looking to buy original breakers

bkuranga:
I need your insights please.

Can I safely power a 12V CCTV camera directly from a 12V battery (charged by solar)?

I have a CCTV camera that normally runs on an adapter rated for 12V DC, 2A (input: 100–240V AC). I want to bypass the adapter and power the camera directly from a 12V battery (such as a sealed lead-acid or LiFePO4), which is charged by a solar system[b].

[b]My questions:

1. Is it safe to connect the battery directly to the camera’s power input?
2. When fully charged, the battery can output around 12.6V to 13V—is this safe for the camera?
3. During solar charging, voltage can reach up to 14.5V—would this damage the camera if it's connected?
4. How do I ensure correct polarity when wiring?
5. Is it safe to charge the battery and power the camera at the same time?

Any advice, experience, or wiring tips would be really appreciated!

Yes I have tried something like this before not with camera though but a DC fan of 12V

But be sure that the camera won’t spoil if it gets a voltage above 12v

Darey00:
I think the installer connected the 2*300w in series and paralleled the 585w with them

Well run the test and see what your panel can produce.

The app looks like this

The charge controller has an app you can download on your phone and connect via Bluetooth. You will be able to see how your panels are performing

You might experience this if your panel is not able to give you the required load consumption. It will take the rest from the battery.

You would need to do further testing to be sure what is the root cause.

Darey00:
Good morning guys, please I need help with my MPPT controller. I can't seem to get it to charge my battery even though there is PV input.

This is 10am, I drained the battery to 12.0v overnight and by 7.30am it had already gotten to "full" level at 12.8v and started flashing (mppt mode off), I plugged about 323w of load in it because it was pulling in like 560+w at the time.

To my suprise, the inverter voltage went down to 11.9v (22% load). After 2 hours I removed the fridge to about 14% load and the voltage went to 12.1v. funny enough the mppt still maintained that the battery is full and so it refuses to charge the battery or fast. I have the Manual with me and I don't know how to go about it.

My system: 12v 200ah tubular battery, 2*300w and 1 585w panel.

How did you connect the panels.
