For me, the concept of over bought/sold is just ideological and can't really be used as a signal for a setup. I've seen indicators show those overbought for months without reversing.
I've explained elaborately in previous posts on how I trade Gold with Levels already provided to us by previous price action. That's why I sold at 1763 for the next demand level of 1850.

I've been planning for a long buy setup for GBPAUD as it's due for a big correction. Just buy and hold like an investment. Don't get knocked out by the retracements.. I'm looking at 1500pips target on this with 30pips risk.

We plan our trades and trade our plan then let the market decide on who gets paid. If the bestest wave master doesn't understand that the market rewards even those that buy here and sell there, then I'd allow the market teach its simple lessons some more. We would continue to rinse and repeat this thing InShaAllah.

I expect a retest of the 1805/8 area and would look to buy in that zone. If price breaks that zone then I would sell to the 1791/95 area where I would look to buy again.
The only point I'd look to sell Gold to the 1778 then 1750 area is if price closes strongly below 1791.
But then if price continues straight up, breaks 1814 and retests that level, then I would be looking for buys up until 1835 then 1850 and could be seeing 1900 not too long from now.
As a matter of fact, I'm more inclined to seeing Gold at 2000 rather than going down. Every information out there is on Gold going down but prices keep going up. That tells me that market makers are making us sell but buying so that they can get large liquidity to push prices higher and higher.
I also noticed that Gold against every other currency has made an all time high except against the USD and HKD. [b]So gold is extremely stron[/b]g.

Both trades up 180pips.
Gold should get to 1849 and I won't sell till it gets to 1855 . So could close here at 1847 and I'd buy again at 1835.

I suspect market would open with a gap up on EURUSD to 1.4444444444444 then begin to head down. Once it breaks below 1.3990 its sai gobe till 1.1150 area. But if it bounces from 1.3990 I'd have to look at it again.
Lastly, I'm stuck in a bad sell, we must yet pray by the waterside for this trade

The reason a lot of us stay at the level that we are, broke, frustrated and still looking for funds to trade, even after having the best and most accurate system in the world, is because of the limitations we have placed in our minds.
I would always say that trading is best when you get the proper foundation in education. Research on the various methods of trading and decide on which best fits your psychology. Let no one choose your path for you, we can only show you how to use your wings but you're the only one that can fly.

A bit disappointed that we did not reach $500 target at the end of the first week of the $100to1k project but let's see how next week goes InShaAllah. Same signals posted here doing marvelous things on accounts. I'd be posting the myfxbook link for the challenge next week but if any of these people of darkness say ordinary "pim!" no more again. Every 10 points is a pip.
If the market moves from 1.23450 to 1.23550 that 10 points move is 1pip.

This exactly what I I would have done, although I would have caught the trade at 114.30 which is the 78.6 of that last week. That's why the trades that work seem like I caught a sniper but na the dagbo I dey use be that. I don't know how the level works like magic most times but make we no talk am too much before e go cast abeg.
