Gold has bounced 100pips off this area as planned, she remains bullish above here.

But I'm not not going to wait till 3am as I need to rest. I'd say a buy around the 1655/7 area seems worth it.

Have I deviated from asking anything concerning trading? So as we were saying, invariably in main, you don't do anything FX right?
Blackeuropean:
but once in main, you must keep to that time, hence reason I preferred doing fx from asia open, but this is done from sub. Once I'm in Main, I'm off anything FX.

Did you see me call any names or make any judgments. Am I not allowed to seek clarifications on things that I know I have less knowledge of? You are actually the one instigating a feud, you know?
AK284:
You have started another CID case this Monday morning. I think you should just allow us to enjoy whatever market analysis, calls and contribution you guys can offer and leave character judgment for now.

That would be out of touch for now because of events of last week. You have access to Funds all trading day round, at same time, you have limits to what you can use and do in different market opens, go against that, the Ghanaian treat will be yours.
But on several occasions, you've made me understand that you and your team use only bloomberg terminal from the trading floor to trade clients accounts and that you have a strict closing and opening time for trades
Are you saying that your team are on the trading floor at midnight, 7hours before official trades opening time to execute trades on clients accounts?
Under listed are a few of your quotes where you clearly stated closing times and openings [which are about the usual times for trading floors, hedge funds and banks].
Now for the case of using Dukascopy/saxobank, isn'tit it absolutely weird for a hedgefund/bank to go through brokers to execute trades, ideally its usually the other way round. Can you please elaborate on this anomaly?
Blackeuropean:
Lol no news, I'm not in office we all home, closed like 3 hours ago from office, but will use my laptop at home to check on Gold, but market is dead by now Na.
Blackeuropean:
For now anything that happens in the market our hand and legs no dey, office closed and our funds secured, I will just be watching from home computer and can necer be tempt to login to funds accounts, Na look I go dey look as today was a good day for us in office.
Blackeuropean:
No major news from my feed, my teams just waking up one after the other now, trading is really stressful, you must stress to make profits on entries.
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by saxy4c(m): 2:25am On Feb 24, 2020
So in other words you can have 24/7 access to trade client accounts, from a trading floor in an European hedge fund institution?
Any possibility I know the name of your hedge fund institution?
Blackeuropean:
We have Main and Sub.
Main can be accessed only during opening hours, Sub can be access 24/7 as if we decide to trade Sydney and Asia, Sub is used, and the sub is also use for analysis by weekends, there is Mini for training too anyway.
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by saxy4c(m): 1:48am On Feb 24, 2020
I can understand if this is the first time this has happened, so which trading floor did you carrying out this closing transactions at this time?
Blackeuropean:
Don't get me Wrong, Dukascopy, Saxo are both opened, and this will be our first time of opening overnight positions on Gold or any currency this Quarter, and as long as you are not trading shares or stock, Metals, Silvers, Oil and some other instruments always open same time with this two brokers, For stocks, you have to wait for 0.7:00 and not gold and others.

The trading pit was opened for you and your trading buddies 7hours before the trading bell for Europe rings and you guys could close your trades manually, not with limits that you set at the close of the last OFFICIAL trading day? I'm glad you're online to respond momentarily.
I thought the European Forex trading floor has it's hours commonly observed as running between 07:00 - 16:00 GMT? Can you please clarify me on how you and your colleagues could do this? This is a trading related question right?
Blackeuropean:
Thank you, I have to set alarms because of this trade, I slept on time by 6pm just to make sure I'm here ready to close things with my good traders, alarms was fully setted to wake us up 8 minutes to Gold opening, if we did missed till the next candle, you see the way the next candle retracted? It would have cut the profits, So we were fully awoken 8 minutes to, and jackpot it is.

I would suggest you stay on the sideline before the opening of the Hong Kong session. A clear direction should be seen then. A 300pips move in 15mins isn't something you should gamble with, especially with about 3 gaps below.

Funnily Gold closed exactly at the trendline at 1643, LTF TL though. I believe a lot of people would be in buys from that point, but is the market merciful to late entrants? Fundamentally with all the news of the weekend, GOLD should open with about 100pips up, but technically it needs a retrace. Also have same point of view, market would be risk averse with all these headlines, especially at the start of the Asian Session. JPY, USD and GOLD would most likely gather some strength, GBP is still looking for direction, but I'm on for Selling GBPNZD. Oil should head downwards with the recent OPEC decision. Let's see what the market does.

Apparently I can post only 4 pictures at once, here are a few others, any chart on the LTF started off on a HTF of course but I had to go lower to identify certain moves. I guess except for 1, all other charts, at first touch, gave us a PRZ for a trade with a min of 3R with tight SL. These things are a reality.

Back to trading. As mentioned at a point earlier, charting is actually just a simple form of art and the more you get to study your charts the more you understand that the human mind works in certain repetitive patterns.
Your ability to scan through your charts and identify this behavior on your charts, is what would eventually give you a trading edge. These are charts from the start of last week, to what degree did markets obey these charts during the week?
I'm always available on the group, so we can exchange ideas and I can guide you on any chart you want me to look at. You would be paying a tiny fee and that is showing me your attention and true dedication to being an authority to developing these trade plans. Cheers.

Theyoda and Vandorra, you guys started a good thing of which purpose it was to expose the inconsistency in a certain individuals post in other to alert any unsespectiong individual, especially the newbies to forex.
Now look at the last page and tell me, if you're the same newbie this was intended for, how your perception of this thread would be? You're both being strung along by someone who only showed up on this thread a couple of days ago and he is definitely fanning the embers of your flame. You are destroying the foundation of a beautiful thing you started.
If all this is truly not about being self centered and for the good of us all, I urge you to drop this momentarily and take the high [pun intended] road. We are better than this display on here. Thank you for giving an ear.

Anyways today's date is a RARE palindrome. It hasn't in almost 900 years. We are in a very rare time and I'm just excited because it's a wonderful time to be a trader.
I told you honourable people that 2020 is going to be a wonderful year. The year has barely started and not only are great traders rising all around to give us back to back profitable calls but I have also become contemporaries with my one time arch critic theyoda. As a matter of fact, at this moment, we have even now practically metamorphosed into a single being, karleb would you have ever imagined this? cheesy cheesy grin
I've on several occasions admitted to being a real-demo trader, una no go still rest, but if people who follow the calls make constant profits on their accounts, is it a bad thing? Walahi if not for the grace and strength the universe has extended to a minuscule me, I for don commot clothe enter road by now walahi cheesy
WildChild00 abeg na where you show from, I wan follow you see the things wey you don dey see since to come yarn like this lol,my madam go soon ban me from NL and that one na permanent ban because she no want make I craze.
Unimaginable things especially for we traders are still yet to suffice, Corona virus would soon be cured by ordinary panadol and God would laugh at us that he was just trying to let us remember that he would use the simple things of this world to mesmerize the wise and mighty. Our accounts would also increase by multiple folds and our banks would start calling us to ask if some yahoo boys have taken over our accant. grin
I love this thread men! Although I've still not been able to find that ajinomoto thread. If we can't find good banga soup where we are at the moment, at least let us feed our eyes with titillating photos. I love all of you grin

Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by saxy4c(m):
Thank you sir for the commendation, I'm only just trying to seek more attention really.
1. Pull up your charts for a few pairs & get on at least a weekly TF then draw a TL, if you took a trade just at the touch of the TL, no Technical or Fundamental [market sentiment] indicators or juju, you'd see that at least 50% of the time you'd get a positive trade that gave you a min of 1:2 RRR [2R as I call it grin]. Now let's up the odds a bit, check instances where price touched the TL at a point that also coincided with a Fib point, you're now getting trades of 1:2 RRR occur up to 60% [and trust me my guy, if this is all you use as a trading strategy, you are made!]. It may seem you are losing 4 out of 10trades and someone might just say plenty of your trades are hitting SL, but only you would realise you're making magnificent profits on your account, do the maths yourself.

2. I don't think one can be taught how to interpret the prevailing market sentiment. Yes, it has enabled me fine tune my trades a whole lot more that I can believe my setups would yield profits up to 70/5% of the time. Getting a grasp of this comes naturally over time after you've followed the news and seen its resultant effects [short/long term]. You'd get to understand how Central bank decisions, Political happenings, geographical turmoil, Corporate resolutions, wars and diseases affect market moves. So even when TA is pointing the general market direction to a certain point, you're privy to certain Fundamentals and going the other way [which although results in people calling you Beast, witch, Wizard, Nostradamus, kalokalo, wiliwili, hypocrite etc grin]

See how the markets sent me on very hard drugs last week. Normaly if DXY falls, Gold moves up, Eurusd and Gbpusd also go up. That used to be the good old scenario oh. But these days a lot of Fundamentals challenge the aforementioned. Gold now purely moves due to news effect, but I dey still catch her wink. Cable moves on UK/BREXIT news. And they've left EURUSD to be moving against the DXY.
I can't even say I'm adept at this yet as I'm certain our ogas like voraz, infofirst, Shevychen2, currentprice, capitals and the likes could further clarify you on these. Like I just recently learnt from this Corona outbreak [I wasn't actively trading at the SARS outbreak period]. Contrary to what I'd have normally thought, when a country has an outbreak their currency/reserves shoot up!!! You want to argue like I ininitially did? China has the largest Gold reserve, Corona hit them, Gold has been flying while CNY has gone from about 6.85 to 7.05 from January. UK got hit by Corona, Pounds started rising. Corona enter USA, USD flew more and more. First case of Corona in Europe last week and I just knew my EURUSD buy was a high probability setup especially just after covering the TECHNICAL Gap[Fundamental and Technical market coincidences push me to take mad risks that my ogas frown at atimes grin]. Now it has been discovered around Japan, you no see as JPY wan begin get muscle? I just hope nobody brings Buhari's notice to this as a means to reinvigorate our economy oh!

3. Please don't ask me questions like this again. Although I'm humbled that you'd solicit advice from me, a pro demo trader who hasn't seen a billion dollars in his account yet but is still striving. It is things like this that make Vandorra tell me I talk too much, and honestly I don't like what I hate grin
P.s Dont quote this post in full, it would take up too much space and of course forgive any grammatical errors.
lonelyhousewife:
@saxy4c
Hello, nice job you're doing here. I have a few questions though.
1) Do you factor in market sentiment while arriving at your direction bias or you base your trade solely on what the trend line says?
2) How do you determine the prevailing market psychology?

All these TL haters undecided, so what if the TL is drawn on different TFs? Would the S/R line ["these things are a specific line and not an area, so that you know"] of a LTF be same as that of a HTF?
Vandorra:
Trend lines are more effective when it has its base drawn from a resistance or support area
