Swing traders and position traders.
All are profitable forms of trading if you figure out which one suits you and stick with it.
There are scalpers that have milked the market for.years and same as swing traders.
I'm an intraday trader and its worked for me since 2016.
Same way as maybe your swing trading has worked for you. Find your edge and stick with it.

Thermodynamics:
I've been trading Forex since 2017, a word of advice for you. Your trading style should only be Swing trading, and let your analysis be on the larger time frame, like the Weekly and monthly, you can use daily charts to get an entry.

That's right lot people are always looking for that holy Grail odds but forgetting that it never exist.
What matter a lot is the money management and you trading structure.

The first time I tried to ride a horse, I think I was 11 and the thing stepped on my foot, I can never forget that pain.

It's really not about analysis being right or wrong. It's more about having a structured and consistent way of executing trades in a manner that gives an EDGE. After that, it's all about letting the probabilities play out.

After analysis is done, it's up to the markets to either validate or invalidate the analysis.

Trade has gone up 50pips, about 2R. Would hold to TP 1596 and also set a buy limit at 1596 with SL for 1593 and TP 1610 where is should be up by then to see market reaction.
From what I see, if price hasn't reached the price objective of sell by 8am, then take what you see.

Whether your analysis is 20% correct or 90% on point, price will still go either way. That's what this is all about, either account preservation when wrong or increase in balance when right.

Tbh, EUR is a tricky one. From a Fundamentals standpoint, the currency looks weak (especially with the abysmal German ZEW data today).

Change TP to 1598, it should go to around 1610 for lower move.

Guys I'm going to keep trying to educate us as much as I know. SCALPING, although is a valid form of trading, is mainly used with institutional trading. They can make millions of dollars from just a few pips movements and let the retail traders drag on the remaining free money.
Now if the Sell given at 1.2998 for GBPUSD was taken on high lot size with NO SL as scalping is usually done, which is why none was given, your account would be reciting the pages of the Quran and the Bible together at this moment. But you would never be shown that, you'd only be shown when the 2 or 3pips movement is making cool bucks. Theyoda would be able to explain this kinda thing better
Forget about pictures! anyone can show you and tell you they took the trade, follow the many charts here posted in advance so that you'd learn from the success or failure and how to trade better. You don't need babypips.com just with what we have on this thread I tell you.

That should instigate a sell off in GBP right? but that doesn't seem to be happening, let's see though, no be my papa get market, but that slight selloff just before the news seemed more of the classic buy the rumour sell the news [but vice versa in this case]. Price is always an advance indicator though.
Still holding my Pound buys but not with strong mind. If Gold goes above 90, I'm out of pound buys. That's my plan.

Second trade up 35pips and first entry up 10pips.
Eur should fly in about 5mins time or the next candle. Especially EURGBP.
