There is a line between being on a forum of a place/topic you've never been/studied/experienced and trying to dominate the discussion in it while telling those who live have experienced it, their experiences are invalid.

It's akin to a non-swimmer who's never stepped foot in the water joining a deep see diving board and telling everyone else in the forum who are actually divers that their experience diving are wrong and this is what they should be doing. Is that rational? Isn't that what sly, bonvita3 and basicalo do here on the daily?

And real question, when did Nigeria stop focusing on critical thinking skills in schools? Some of the reasoning/arguments in this thread by the likes of basilico,Sly,benval3 have been incoherent at best. When have any of them been right about anything in this thread? From Trump being re-elected to what would happen in the midterms. Discussing anything with them is like playing whack-a-lie. You whack one they push another. They roll from wrongness to wrongness while pushing the alt-right meme du jour. And when wrong… just roll away without ever admitting it.

Black people who propagate racist tropes get me even more pressed. Esp. when they have bene made to understand the tropes they are using. The English lexicon is too large for you not to find other words to communicate the same thing. So, at this point you've made a purposeful choice to propagate language and thus ideas that will eventually HURT young black/brown CHILDREN.

As to MTG, you are giving her the benefit of the doubt on something you could have easily researched. Why is that? A second ago you were all "pressed" that Omar said some "antisemitic" stuff. So pressed you were happy she was voted off the committee by the same party who gave MTG two plumb committee assignments. Make your logic make sense to me.

And that's the only reason why I called him out. I actually thought he was just ignorant (not in a bad way).

A survey done in 2021 showed Trump as conservative leaning. Infact, he made the top 11 in the USA.

I find it funny they are saying he is not conservative because he was a Democrat or liberal some years back. Since when did that become a criteria for telling who is conservative and who is not.

I could care less about what Biden calls them as I am not fixated on Biden. I pointed out a Republican calling them MAGA Republican as well. I am sure if I google some more, I will find other Republicans acknowledging the Trump faction of the GOP. The GOP has a Trump faction and those are the ones being referred to as MAGa Republicans.

Now talk to me again about simply being an affirmative action candidate.

That affirmative talk is one of the most attacked by far right people even though they have little understanding of how it works. A few years ago, I was in a lunch room and overhead a new grad (white dude) we hired mouthing off about how unfair it was for affirmative action to increase hiring of Blacks, Asians, and other minority candidates over whites. Anyone with a low IQ listening to him would think the black or Asian candidates hired were dull or bottom of the barrel.

Ironically, this white dude was the weakest academically in the 24 candidates that were hired in his cohort (his cumulative average was in the 60%). Although he interviewed well, and we overlooked the fact that his eventually hiring was based on the fact that he had to pass an outstanding maths course from university. The chief hiring manager even waited an extra 4month to finalize his hiring. Interestingly, non of the Black and Asian grad in his cohort had less than 85% cumulative overall average.

look at this guy, one of the people behind this skewed data. He claimed Bakersfield is the murder capital of CA since 2016. Go and see the Data for yourself if what he is claiming is true.

The data used is extremely more detailed and more accurate than the FBI. They only used less accurate FBI data when the ones from CDC was missing. This is the most detailed research i have ever seen on this topic.

State Like Chicago is known for high homicide. But there are cities in states... the entire Chicago is not dangerous.

Texas is a red state but there are blue cities like El Paso and Austin in Texas.

Do a city-by-city report let's see which cities that are driving crime rates up in Red states.

The report says after removing the big cities (which are usually blue) in those red states, the rate in red states were still higher.
