Truth234: Billionaire Nigerian heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi has proposed to his partner, 47-year-old American jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, with an engagement ring valued at around $500,000, News About Nigeria reports.
The 33-year-old Ogunlesi is the son of Nigerian billionaire, business magnate, and prominent lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi.
According to Diamond Bank in Los Angeles, Meyer showcased her impressive diamond engagement ring, worth half a million dollars, during the couple’s recent appearance at the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles.
Ogunlesi and Meyer went public with their relationship last summer, and Meyer confirmed their engagement in September.
Their recent red carpet appearance at the Baby2Baby Gala has sparked numerous reactions on social media, with many celebrating their love and the beauty of giving one’s partner a luxurious engagement ring.
However, some have raised questions about their age difference, suggesting that it might pose challenges in terms of marital dynamics, especially since Meyer was previously married.
Notably, Meyer’s debut with Geoffrey comes seven years after her separation from actor Tobey Maguire, 49, and three years after finalizing her divorce.
Jennifer shares two children with Maguire. The former couple met in 2003 while Maguire was filming Seabiscuit, and they got engaged three years later.
They welcomed their daughter Ruby, now 17, in November 2006, married in 2007, and had their son Otis, now 15, in 2009. After nearly a decade of marriage, Maguire and Meyer separated in 2016.
Veetee: These days I have been wondering how the dating pool has gone from bad to worse.
I would make this story brief. A friend of mine though married was trying to get a side chic for himself. He met a girl on instagram and they have been chatting for sometime. He shuttles between canada and nigeria, since his family lives abroad. We both had a man to man discussion where he talked about getting tired of doing runs girls that you would have to pay money to nack
The girl is a student of unical. So while he was in canada they both got talking, doing video call and the rest. Once in a while he sends her money, 250k, 100k from time to time.
Then he said he noticed something, the girl travelled to zanzibar in Tanzania on a pleasure and vacation trip. He said during that period she doesnt respond to calls and text messages. he was wondering how a student could afford such an experience trip out of the country. In my mind I was like these young yahoo boys must have sponsored such trips.
After he returned from canada to nigeria, back to his base in lagos. they got talking and he asked her to visit him in lagos from calabar
He sent her 320k for her flight ticket. she requested for some other money which he sent 100k.
Omo after she got the money she didnt book the ticket because according to her the network was bad and she doesnt want it to het stuck.
They started going back and forth of this booking issue. my friend got frustrated along the way , that was when i got to know about the story.
sometimes he would call she wont respond, claiming she is in class. At the end my friend asked her to return the money to his travel agent somehow she found that suggestion annoying. She angrily told him to send his own account so she can refund that she is no longer interested in seeing me.
My own conclusion in this story is if you are dating a beautiful girl in nigeria, you have a lot to do. The competition is very fierce.
These young yahoo boys at the moment have so much money to lavish on these ladies. If you are a young man doing legit hussle, my advice for you is just focus on your hustle.
What then is the moral of these nonsense story? You friend is married and going after another woman? Why not divorce the wife and marry the girl?
dertty04: Leaked S3x Tapes Of Dismissed Anti-Graft Chief Baltasar Ebang 'Distorts And Belittles' The Image Of Our Women—Equatorial Guinea's First Lady, Constancia Mangue
The First Lady of Equatorial Guinea, Constancia Mangue Obiang, is very angry about the sex incident involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, who used to be the Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF).
Following the release of widely shared sex tapes featuring Engonga and several women, he was fired.
The First Lady expressed her anger during a meeting with Prime Minister Manuel Osa Nsue, who handles administrative coordination.
Mrs Constancia Mangue Obiang also wanted to know what the government planned to do to fix the problem, which, in her words, "does nothing but distort and degrade the image of the Guineo-Ecuadorian woman."
In a statement posted on Facebook Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the First Lady Press Office (Ofiprensa Primera Dama) revealed that Mrs Obiang called for immediate government intervention to uphold the dignity of Equatoguinean women and protect their privacy in the digital age.
She said that even though the government has worked to improve gender equality, more needs to be done to make sure that all women live in a safe and respectful place. This includes taking steps to stop events like these from happening in the first place.
Prime Minister Osa Nsue also said that he understood how the situation affected people and stressed how important it was to take steps to protect people's privacy and the country's reputation.
He further noted that the government is contemplating stricter privacy laws as it grapples with the scandal’s impact on the nation’s public image and gender equality efforts.
Recognising the issue, he stated that his office actively seeks ways to control it and draw lessons from these mistakes to prevent similar incidents from affecting society.
"The Government of Equatorial Guinea, aware of the impact of social media and the growing presence of private content on digital platforms, is also considering strengthening laws related to privacy and personal data protection to prevent further violations of citizens’ rights," Mr Osa Nsue said.
"The case of Baltasar Ebang Engonga has sparked a broader discussion on the boundaries of privacy in the digital age and the role of institutions in protecting individuals’ fundamental rights.
"In this regard, the government emphasised the need for a comprehensive approach combining legislation, education, and social awareness to curb the proliferation of inappropriate online content."
The First Lady and the Prime Minister ended the meeting with a shared pledge to collaboratively implement measures to restore public trust in institutions and safeguard the reputation of Equatoguinean women from similar incidents in the future.
They explored potential strategies to prevent such situations from reoccurring.
Animal, people thinks you are that good but completely garbage. What does the bible say about adultery? What was Christ teaching about adultery? Keeping her us like encouraging a divided home and unholy union and children.

post=132454978: My Son currently in 400 Level Medicine and Surgery scored 333 in JAMB at the Point of Entry (PoE) but his name did not even APPEAR on the Admission List.....I was later told by the Institution that, my son could be offered Micro Biology. I told the Registrar of the instituition POINT BLANK that, " I have spent HUGELY (Several Millions of Naira) to get my Son to this Point of Entry (PoE) to become a Medical Doctor and not to become a Biology Teacher through her offer of Micro Biology. This Registrar was so MEAN.....She simply told me, we are very sorry, Micro Biology is the BEST we can OFFER your son.
At this Juncture, I proceeded to JAMB Headquarters, Abuja to meet with Prof. Oloyede who swiftly asked for my son's JAMB details, punched these details into his laptop and and everything concerning the university came up on his screen.
Prof. Oloyede said and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, please go back home and Sleep with your two eyes closed. From what I am seeing on my screen, your son is No.3 (Number 3) on the List of Medicine and Surgery of this institution with a JAMB SCORE of 333 which comes behind two other JAMB scores of 348 and 334 respectively. Unfortunately, non of these chaps, including your Son (i.e JAMB Score 348, 334 and 333) made the Admission List"
Prof. Oloyede continued and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, in SANE countries, this Institution should have sent the College Driver with an official vehicle to go and fetch your son from Ekiti to campus having projected himself into the MERIT LIST of this Institution but unfortunately, the endemic corruption in these institutions will just not allow them to follow Due Process"
Right in my presence, Prof. Oloyede put a call through to the Vice Chancellor of this Institution, setting his phone on speaker and spoke angrily at the Vice Chancellor, lamenting on the endemic corruption under his nose as it concerns university admission. This Vice Chancellor apologized to Prof. Oloyede saying what has just happened must have been an ERROR of OVERSIGHT on the part of his Management Team and promised Prof. Oloyede that, he will personally ensure the Error of Oversight is corrected.
Within 24 hrs of that conversation between Prof. Oloyede and the Vice Chancellor, my son checked the university's Admission Portal and discovered his name has been INCLUDED as Number Three on the admission list while the names of the other chaps that scored 348 & 334 also appeared on the admission list as Number One and Number Two respectively.
The good news in all of these is that, my son that would have been CRIMINALLY denied admission ab-initio now TOPS his class with a G.P.A of 4.85
This is neither Federal nor State government doing... Every sector of the economy in Nigeria is corrupt.
Addendum.... Dr M.K.
I told my wife after listening to the jamb registrar on good morning Nigeria, an NTA programme that he will fail his wife if she fails jamb. JAMB will lose quality the day this man retires.
