Ukraine entered Kursk about four days ago and has been pushed back. Many western analysts and pro-Ukrainians have even questioned why Ukraine invaded Kursk because it makes no sense.

They have said it time and time again that Ukraine should focus on beating Russia back from Eastern Ukraine instead of launching attacks into forested areas like Kursk which Russia doesn't even defend because there is no point attacking it.

However, Ukrainian generals said they attacked Kursk with the hopes that Russia will withdraw forces from Eastern Ukraine and send them into Kursk.

That clearly isn't working since Russia deployed reserves from inside Russia (who are not even fighting in Ukraine) and used them against the Ukrainian army in Kursk.

Attacking Kursk is just another failure and embarrassment for Zelensky.
