Sirmwill:“Tribalists “ have entered the thread associating themselves with achievements. Omoluabi fire. Tell all of them to come back home and build a working system, then you’ll know what true intelligence is. Tinubu doesn’t have it. Soyinka does not either. |
Luckysbab:And you got over 200 likes for simply lacking understanding of what the person you quoted was saying. Use common sense. How much do you buy a bottle of 50cl coke in Nigeria currently? A bottle of coke in the south west and south south goes for about 500 naira. So if someone in Canada can get a bottle of 50cl coke for 2.45CAD or roughly 2 CAD (rounded sum), that means you’re paying roughly 250 times more for the same bottle of coke here in Nigeria . Now even if you’re to import the higher standardized Canadian coke, you’ll be selling it for over 2000 naira per bottle here in Nigeria . So now the average salary in Canada after tax deductions is about 4k CAD. An individual’s groceries for a month can go between 150, 200 CAD to 500 CAD, depending on individual preference or choice factors. See the shot below for rough idea. Now what’s the average salary in Nigeria? How many people live below that bracket or above it? It’s useless trying to defend a defenseless cause. There are times we need to swallow the bitter pills to square shoulder with the truth.

On the southern fringe of the Sahara, a vast expanse of parched and unforgiving land is almost impossible to cultivate and ravaged by Islamist insurgencies. Yet the countries of this inhospitable region have some of the highest rates of population growth in the world. Niger ranks third in the global league for pace of annual population growth – about 3.7 per cent – meaning that the nation’s 26 million people will double in number within 20 years. Neighbouring Chad comes ninth in the world, while Mali, on the other side of Niger, ranks tenth. Today, the combined population of all three states is about 70 million, a total that is forecast to exceed 140 million by 2050. The demography of the states of the Sahel – as the southern edge of the Sahara is known – leads the way for Africa as a whole. Whereas the overall population of Europe is falling and that of North and South America – and even Asia – is now stabilising, Africa has the fastest rate of growth in the world. As recently as 1960, the population of the entire continent was only 283 million – not much more than the 230 million who today live in Nigeria alone. Since then, Africa’s population has multiplied fivefold to reach 1.5 billion. The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa predicts that the continent will add another 950 million people by 2050, bringing its total population to 2.5 billion. In the next quarter century, about half of the world’s population growth will be concentrated in just eight countries, of which five are in Africa: Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Egypt and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Today, fewer than one in five of the world’s people are Africans; by 2050 Africa will comprise about a quarter of humanity. Why is this happening and what are the possible consequences? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05/14/demographics-birth-rates-africa-sahel-misery/

A Global Look at Every Billion Dollar Company Key Takeaways North America is home to 38.6% of the world’s publicly-listed companies valued at $1 billion or more in 2025. The Asia-Pacific region holds 29.8% of these large firms, led by Japan and India. Meanwhile, Europe covers 23% of the global share, coming in at third place. The global stock market is constantly evolving, spawning new companies in developed and emerging markets alike. From North America to the Middle East, significant investment in AI is fueling the emergence of new players in the market. Meanwhile, global startup cities like Shanghai and Paris are providing the launching grounds for each new billion dollar company thanks to their robust ecosystems and venture capital funding. This graphic shows all the world’s billion dollar companies in 2025, based on analysis from BestBrokers. Yet as a number of economies in Asia see strong economic growth, rising incomes, and greater investment, large firms are increasingly proliferating. One notable example is India, which ranks third globally in the number of billion-dollar companies—outpacing the UK, Canada, and China. Meanwhile, Taiwan’s total stock market capitalization relative to its GDP is among the highest globally, given its leading role in the semiconductor supply chain. With 77 billion dollar companies, it ranks 16th overall in the world. Meanwhile, the Middle East accounts for 5.6% of the world’s large firms. Saudi Arabia ranks at the top, with 98 billion dollar companies while the UAE follows next with 62. Both countries have seen a massive influx of funds investing in AI infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. At the same time, energy and financial giants dominate their stock exchanges. On the other end of the spectrum, Africa has the smallest share of billion dollar firms. Overall, South Africa is home to the most large firms on the continent, at 43, while Egypt and Nigeria each have one billion dollar company. source: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/all-of-the-worlds-billion-dollar-companies

rinzaugustine:The best things you can achieve now is survival skills. Learn how to build a drone from scratch. Learn basic electronics. Work on robotic projects if possible. Check up OpenCV libraries on OCR and night vision and clone projects if possible. Your first point of call is being able to set up and operate a surveillance system in real-time, made of 4 to 6 drones (at least 1 fixed wing UAV and 3 or more copters). You can’t achieve this alone. You’ll need a team of like minds. You wanna be forearmed in case the chips eventually go down someday, when insurgents’ airplanes start flying over major cities. You don’t want to be taken unawares. The Nigerian airspace is one of the most vulnerable in the world. Anything that sees insurgents increasing their knowledge base, skill set or sophistication levels will put the NA in a very difficult position. From the judiciary to the Executive, dumb heads and pot bellies all over. This is what you get. |
adenigga:Two things are likely, looking at the current state of things; 1. It’s either Tinubu’s APC has performed one of the greatest rituals in Nigeria’s history to keep most people under a spell Or 2. Tinubu has used immense amounts of money to grease the palms of politicians, that one minute they’re either decamping to APC or professing support for Tinubu’s 2027, despite his present failures and cluelessness. Either way he’s creating more zombies on a daily. |
damosky12:Slavish ko, Yugoslavia ni. When the truth comes slapping you hard, you can’t handle the responsibility that comes with accepting it. You open your mouth waah to spit this shit. Ostentatious living knows no skin colour…, but when it comes to colonialism, you think it’s a skin color thing . You shift the goalposts .You blame the whites, but not your black brothers that sold you out for greed or ostentatious living (in your own words). The Portuguese colonized parts of Europe before they stretched down to Africa. Even America was colonized by the British. You’ll never know history up to these points. You only believe colonialism is white on black. Victim’s mentality. If anyone calls you out to make you have a balanced view and a sound mindset on these, you call him a white worshipper. Crazy. |
kingthreat:I knew of someone who had a borehole but didn’t sell water. He gave it out for free. There was also another man in the neighborhood who sold his. One day the water seller’s pumping machine developed serious issue and he went to meet the water giver and pleaded with him to extend his kindness to him as well. The water giver agreed and delivered water to his household via a hose. This continued for several weeks. One day I checked in to find both men in hot exchange of words. The water giver was so upset that the water seller was still selling to others despite the fact that he was getting it for free. I can never forget that incident. The water giver kept asking and reiterating “why do we like feeding fat from people’s disabilities?” Very few Nigerians are different. We mostly look like our leaders. We love to blame others than take blames and responsibility. |
God1000:Russians and Chinese will fill up the their spaces with love from BRICS |
owobokiri:You idiots think Gaddafi wasn’t of the same mind as every other Islamic terrorist group. That’s how you keep falling for clueless leadership and end up blaming the West for your own choices, cos your antennas are dead. Jonathan as your president, you said he was a fool and preferred Buhari, who had times without number, voiced his sentiments and sympathies for BH. Before your very eyes terrorists, after raping and killing , return to your government with surrendered hands. They get vip treatment. Get pardoned and get returned into the same society they inflicted pains upon, and the cycle continues, worsening by the break of every single day. You still blame the West for that, but you would never stand up to threats the way the Ukrainians are doing for themselves and their future. Before your very eyes, many northern states are embracing shariah as their first call of allegiance, without regard to the country’s constitution. I mean the same sharia that ISWAP and BH want, yet you blame the West for it. You can’t call out the terrorists in your government first but you’re good at trading blames across borders and oceans. Ukrainians today are fighting and dying for what they believe in, but you call them fools for taking responsibility for their fate , while you don’t even have the courage to do same for the good of your country. I’ll ask you so called pan African fools some questions 1. Why did Ghadaffi firstly and repeatedly push so hard for the global coalition of Arabic states? 2. Why did He then switch to becoming vocal about a united Africa after his Arabic coalition plan got shattered? 3. Why did he hate the state of Israel with a passion and didn’t recognize her legitimacy? 4. Show me a proof that Gaddafi never sponsored terrorist activities on the Nigerian soil or across Africa Ghadaffi was one of the smartest leaders in Africa, but he never meant well for an Africa that is religiously neutral. He wanted the Islamic domination. He was ready to wait patient enough to achieve this with subtlety or whatever it takes. Ghadaffi’s love for Africa was a sham. His love for Islam was the gram. But you guys.., you don’t learn. You claim to know history, but you keep repeating stupid mistakes. The West don’t mean well either but the enemy of your enemy isn’t always your friend. If you’re the weakest in that chain of relationship, you’ll be the next prey when that common enemy goes down. Take a look at the shots below to see the words of the man you think loved Africa so much .

Agbegbaorogboye:Unfortunately Tinubu the illegal president of Nigeria, does not understand GDP. IGR or ‘Owo mi da’ is the only thing he understands. That is what he used to develop Lagos and gave MC Oluomo a lift from from being a village tout to a regional nuisance. |
KingCold:But your strong attachment to modern utilities…what do you call that? That is a practical form of white worship too. You’re even addicted to some of these and you keep making the whites richer and stronger. |
Dynamicboss:I told some guys that the best team in this year’s Champions League tournament went out through the semifinals. Inter knows she’s less better than Barca. The best team don’t always win. They mostly win. |
Racoon:So Cubana chief priest, Emoney and Davido no even dey inside the list? Na wa o. But them make noise pass all these people combined. Anyway who else within Lagos has discovered the frequent overflights of jet fighters recently? Hope all is well |
Incredible128:They will tell you nothing concerns you as an African cos it’s not your war. Just like the hare and squirrel told the team of kangaroos, deers and Zebras who requested their cooperation to survive against the lion, that it’s not their business since they are not of the same family. |
Kemetian:So they’re still conquering the world today with gunpowder.? Okay no problem. I agree with you. If it were not for gunpowder, computer village would have been Africa’s Silicon Valley by now. Was talking about one of the few reasons we’re lagging behind in development, and uncle Monday shows up, talking about gunpowder and cannons. He even typed this from his smartphone via an internet connection which came forth by greed, (going by his opinion ) , rather than innovation or smart thinking. Hmmmn. It is well. I’ve seen roaches walking without heads as a child but never believed anyone can pull that stunt..,but this dude? He just cleared my doubt. |
Islie:Guys, listen up. Especially those Pan African wannabes who have so much bitterness for the West, in the name of “they colonized us and we know our history “. Sit down now and take a look at your Tinubu and Soludo. See how they sync, with you all below the value chain. This was how your fore fathers synced with the whites, living off the oppressions of their brothers below the value chain. For every black slave sold, was a black master who brokered the deal. Anything for the stomach and self gain at the expense of anyone. Some where given in exchange for mirrors, glassware, basic inventions. That’s how stupid the exchanges went. They’re still doing it today. Detrimental exchanges with temporal benefits. We still do the same on the masses level. We’re opportunistic. We rob each other at the slightest break of emergencies/crisis. Everyone is “cut” conscious. No one seem to do anyone a favor without a tip anymore. We’re so transactional and greedy. We’re the same with our politicians. Made of the same stuff. The difference is scale and position. If given the same privileges most of us will do far worse. The whites are not our problem. They saw we already have a problem. They’ve only strategized ways to gain from that problem. That problem is our mindset. Truth is, if you worship Obi Cubana, Davido, Otedola, Dangote because of their money, you’ll definitely steal when you’re privileged to access public funds. This is what fuels Nigeria’s retrogression - our mindset. |
malali:The ones wey other companies dey pay, you dey see benefit? No be agbadas dem dey collect am chop? |
cremedelacreme:Lol I understand. Still the same fear of hunger, that’s what your government uses to trim you to mediocre size, so much that to japa becomes a huge fortune to wish for. |
Bordey:Ogbeni, Peter was not a pope. Did Apostle Peter pray in the name of Mary? No. that alone makes him far be better off the names you mentioned |
Nyanabo: ![]() |
Bar1941:Yeah, the US economy depends on China’s while the Chinese economy depends entirely on China, Abi? Look at what BRICS is doing to your brain. |
ALTERNATEID:Shut up. That’s not the message. Focus on the message. The message is about the uselessness of father and son in the persons of Tinubu and Seyi. |
ExAngel007:Son of camp nou…. Reminds me of that sweet beautiful Fidelity Bank lady that used to join us at the viewing center that year. She came alone to watch Barca matches. She loved the way the passes connect and the smoothness of tiki taka. True Barca fans love orderliness, beauty and intelligence. What I’ve discovered over the years. So I’m not surprised about this young man’s preemptive prowess. Beautiful brains. |

Reference:Nah… not always valid. It’s as valid as a dead clock; twice in 24 hours, wrong in 22. The most successful team in Italy, Juventus, currently have about 70 trophies. Both domestic and international. Don’t forget Italian teams play the most defensive and physical style of football in Europe. While FC Barcelona currently have about 98-100. Domestic and international as the second most successful team in Spain. Spanish football in general, had always being dominating, attacking as well as artistic and classic. Attacking football has won the most trophies in history. That’s the similar Samba style the Brazilians used in dominating football back then. It still works. That’s what Guardiola used in turning premiership into farmers’ league. Out of 24 hours, it work in 22 and fail in 2. Teams who don’t pack buses are the best in history. Run a check. |
adioolayi:The best team don’t always win. In this tournament, FCB was that team. Quality football. Artistic appeal. Technical touches. Sleek passes. They’re currently the best. |
Hecrax:Talking nonsense. you would've known that the SMO started by Putin in February 2022 was to liberate the Russian speaking people of Donbass including those in Novorussiya (Kherson and Zaporozhye Oblast) and it has nothing with the Neo nazis in Western So why then did Putin sacrifice the Russian convoy moving to Kyiv as burnt offering? If Putin only wanted Donbass why did he order his tanks to Kyiv, the capital? Why did he threaten the Ukrainian army to surrender and give off Zelenskyy? See the evidences below of Russia’s grand entry from Belarus.

DSS should do their work to identify them. ISIS were defeated in Iraq .
