You will also need to get the change of name publication and other documents relating to change of name ( your sponsor will have the... i think that the marriage certificate might be needed). You might also want to add a letter of explanation stating that the old account was opened before she got married and it is customary in Nigeria for women to change their surname after marriage.

For the first question.... just send them 6 months bank statement from today.... it will cost you nothing sir. That is 6 months bank statement of your bank account and that of your sponsor (the account you presented).

Hello Every one, its been ages. Had my interview on the 6th June and the questions were regular questions that have been put up here awhile ago. Thanks to all who shared experiences as it was really helpful.
A few concerns tho, first, I would like to confirm if all banks (verified banks) do call to confirm consent given to Embassy to verify your account. I use Gtb and nobody has called me to ask anything.
Secondly, since tuition has been introduced in Finnish university, and will commence next year August 2017, am wondering if we after being admitted for the first year, will pay tuition fees for the second year. Hope that doesn't mean that it would affect us next year, hence would have to fund account for the following year. Just wondering.
Thirdly, how do I use the customer number and diary on the portal to monitor application process?
I will appreciate your contributions.

Depends on your bank. My bank did but that shouldn't be any problem since it's genuine. They hardly do, though.

Secondly, the tuition stuff won't affect this incoming set.

Thirdly, you'll only need the customer number if you want to communicate with the embassy or send your passport when requested.

I'm mostly concerned about 2.
My sponsor transferred from her second account( salary account) to the new account with her old surname.
My plan is to get a statement of account showing the transfer of the 900k from the second account to the other account and resend payslips,employment letter and include office ID. Must i provide 6 months statement of account for the second account too?

i do not think birth certificate is part of the required document. @the house the pay slip CAC documents and employment letter that my sponsor gave me are photocopies. Is there anybody in the house who used regular copies and still got the r.p my aiico insurance is also a regular copy they told me it is a new development, all my personal document are all original copies. It is only the sponsorship letter and his bank statement that are original copies.

E be like say na photocopies ooluseyipa use last year too but him notarise dem. And baba dey Suomi now.
For the aiico level, naso every be , even katolistic and myself and about four other people wey i sabi.

I think the original sponsorship letter,original statement of account and other notarised docs should suffice. (i stand to be corrected)

brother you don get the thing already. don't think it's late, I don buy my insurance and paid for my resident permit but I never apply for resident permit through migri talkless of writing to the embassy.I intend doing so by July when I don raise 1.55m, I get faith I will get the resident permit, so relax ,all is well.which bank you use as I dey use union bank

Letter of sponsorship no be long thing and no one way to am. Just ensure you introduce your sponsor(name, occupation and all that), sponsor's relationship to you, why he/she is sponsoring your, her/his source(s) of funds etc. Just those basically, you could write any other thing if there's something to clarify to strengthen the credibility. Make your letter dey original and no necessarily exaggerate things.
