The link @Mikymiko sent to you is the cheapest and fastest.... about 5 CAD... but you may need someone in Canada to apply on your behalf cos I think its only sent to Canada address.
In the alternative apply through this website http://gcmsnow.com it very straightforward and reliable you just have to pay 23 CAD and you should get a fed back in 30 days at most.
Good luck.

Thank you.

I just used the suggested gcmsnow and will be completing it tomorrow; more expensive but I really am not in the mood for any more complexities after all this. As always, beware the complexities of the cheaper option!

Thanks again.

@Mikymiko thanks too.

Sorry about your delay. A good way to tackle this is to have them commit financially by paying your fees or transfer the finances for the said scholarship to your personal account where you can readily have funds when the need arise. Attach the proof of these in your re-application. And like you stated already, they probably are aware of the inconsistencies surrounding funding Nigerian students overseas from Govt related scholarships. If you can get a RELIABLE co sponsor with a well funded account you can add too to boost your chances.Depending on who the co sponsor will be, establish your relationship him/her and why the person what to support you even with a scholarship. Huge amount means nothing if you can't prove you have access to the funds in the account.

Thank you very much.

They won't pay into my account - for good reason, cos one might just sit tight with the money grin

I will try to get the school's account details ASAP and see if they pay soon. The risk is that if they pay, a refund is virtually impossible with TSA. First though, I need to extend this admission offer to September 2017 to give myself float.

When they do pay, I will then try to use my mum and two older siblings as co-sponsors... Maybe if they can commit to giving me say 1m each, it will help (?) (combined with mine). They don't have huge accounts though, but will probably be deemed reliable due to their stable/respectable professions. Will they need to actually transfer the cash into my account, or will their 'promise' letters be enough?

*Btw, will the 3 of them be 'too many'?

OK. Now I know why.
They simply do not trust my sponsor. Nigeria na wa o....
The Nigerian government agency/commission (now you know) "has not been deemed reliable as in the past he has failed to fulfill his obligations in full", so they ticked ONLY the two financials for me (fees without working, and upkeep...).

Well, what can I do in such a case? Perhaps wait till the commission pays the fees then reapply with supporting personal assets and SOA?

This one dey out of my hands o... I no get anyone with huge account.

Just got final decision email from CIC
My TRV has been delayed due to insufficient funds to handle 1 year expenses in Canada
It is well in Jesus name
Getting ready to re-fire and re-apply

Sorry about the delay.

I happen to have that same delay problem, but don't know why. I only just got an email to check my status.

Does everyone (online and paper) get that 'final decision email'? Mine was paper that was later linked. I'd like to quickly know why mine was delayed too.

Sorry again.

What are you trying to insinuate?

Please don't act like Mr. Know it all type (just an advice).

That's the link for the GCMS request.

Lol.

"Mr-Know-it-all" did not work for me before, it's why I am here. I wasn't challenging you!

Maybe I should have asked: how do you use that link to apply for GCMS. But I also know that nairalanders don't like the lazy...
So, please: how do you use that link to apply for GCMS?

I looked through and did not see a GCMS link, and I saw:"To send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada."

Does it mean I need someone in that category to do it for me?

Thanks.

Add ur SOA, Assets. Still find a relation to also draft a sponsorship letter and provide his SOA. Indicate in your study permit application that your fees will covered by Scholarship. GCMS through this link
GCMS , here's the link to order for it http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

That link does not seem like it. Please can you/someone help me cross-check?

What are the reasons?
What programme?
Which school?
Who is ur sponsor?
How old are u?
What date did u apply?

OK.

Reasons? I don't know yet. I only saw that my application was refused today on the cic website. No email or sms yet. I want to quickly use the GCMS service to get as much info as possible to aid a possible re-application.
Prog.: PhD
School: Queen's
Sponsor: Govt Agency. Scholarship amount covers fees and 15k upkeep for 3 years (now you know who)
Age: Very early 30s, single
Date: Nov 1, 2016.

Due to pressure from my supervisor, and unwillingness to renew my rent, I was in too much of a hurry to make it by January 31, 2017, so my application was a bit watery. I just put in the scholarship letter without adding my personal SOA or personal assets (or possibly a co-sponsor). I work in a govt agency (so pay not huge), added my pay slips and employment and regularisation letters and thought that would suffice for the ties to home country. No letter of intro to show that I would be granted study leave with pay with a bond (takes too long to get cos of bureaucracy).

I wager that the reasons will include finance, and purpose of visit. Hopefully nothing more 'serious' than those.
After going through here, I have come to see that it was not a very convincing application. I had too much confidence in my sponsorship and took then for granted a bit. My LOE was also a bit sketchy.

Please which GCMS service is cheap and reliable? (gcmsnow?)
