My problem is "meddling" as you use it. Its like saying someone taking a nap is pretending to faint... And she did not delude herself because people actually bring their problems to her. Point in case, she named 3 sets of people today. When people come to you to vent or help them see reason, it is not meddling. It is not cho cho cho...

You have also taken out of context the scenario where Doyin told shegzz he did not correct Bella enough. This conversation was after Bella and her gang went after Doyin with all sorts of venom and then Shegzz came to apologise to Doyin and was making excuses for Bella. It was not advise that was given out of the blue to cause problems for them.

My honest truth which I deduced after I actually started watching Doyin is that some of the viewers try to pass a narrative about her because of her relationship or not with their favourites.

As much as some of her actions can be annoying and cringeworthy, the shout and cry about her is based more on de-marketing than normal housemate critic. Whatever she does is blown out of proportion but when others in the house do same or worse, the streets are silent. As a matter of fact, a big chunk of people mis-report things about her and when it is difficult to spin updates about her, they will rather keep quiet.

By the time I started watching Doyin, I read all sorts here which was why i started paying more attention to her.

For every accusation, I can cite other favourites who have done worse on the specific issues... You mentioned Phyna sliding unto her "friend's" man. Yet Doyin is harassed more for being a "potential slider" than the "actual slider". The other day, Daniella quoted her ideal man as someone who has to be "financially stable" yet no prose and passage about how money liking she is. Adekunle the other day talked about how he and Chi Chi would not have been on same level on the outside but if Doyin says that, the streets will shut down. The day she was accused of doing cho cho was when I pointed to how Adekunle was chief gossip...

So honestly for me, I see Doyin with all her faults and I like her a lot. Doesn't mean she won't upset me or make me ashamed of her sometimes but as at today oh, I do not see her the way some of you see her... But again, maybe I am just being protective of her...

This is very okay...but u missed my point....why can't she listen..give a brief opinion and exit?

But no ones blows Doyin’s issues out of proportion....she makes everything about herself...

Whilst Doyin was eating Chizzy's food and both were playing with each other, Chizzy brings up the topic of Doyin being perceived as always being in other people's business.

He said that this morning whilst The Shellas were discussing their issues with Doyin, that the rest of the housemates started tabling Doyin's matter about her interference in other people's matters.

Doyin got visibly upset and started asking what she is expected to do when people bring their issues to her. She asked if she is supposed to tell them to take their talk away or if she is supposed to just jump up and leave the person/people. She started explaining that she is always by herself and people come to her for these talks. She cited examples of Shegzz coming to her and Bella also coming to her. She also talked about Daniella coming to her and Brian bringing his and Modella's talk to her. She then asked who and who were spreading these narratives.

Chizzy said he was the one who started the talk this morning and that she needs to find a way out of the couple's talks because they will use her to settle matters at the end.

Doyin got even more hurt to find out that Chizzy was the one who supposedly started the "table gist". So she gets up tells him to Bleep off, goes to wash her plates and stalks off to the room. She goes to Shegzz to confirm if she was the one who came to meet the couple when they were having issues or if they were the ones who came to her.

Shegzz confirmed that he came to her because he was looking for another female's perspective and Bella gets very upset with the rest of the house for always twisting things. She loudly stresses and particularly calls Chizzy's name for "trying to come for her"... She asks loudly if it is a crime to have conversations with someone.

By this time, Doyin is in tears and goes under the duvet to cry with Bella trying to comfort her before Shegzz came to claim some serious kisses from her.

Bryan on the other hand goes to Chizzy to ask what happened. Chizzy explains what happened with some slight alterations (apparently, it might not have been the house who tabled the matter). Chizzy was trying to warn his friend but using the guise of "whole house" might have triggered an already sensitive Doyin. Bryan tells Chizzy to sort things out with Doyin as she is quite upset. Chizzy maintains that Doyin was being childish for asking for verification from the Shellas and that he did not have time for Bella just yet...

Why is it difficult to see that doyin meddles. She deluded herself by saying pple bring their problems to her. It is not enough reason to meddle. What happened to ...u guys will be fine and quickly exit the convo.

Before shegz started highlighting Bella's attitude...itbwas doyin that tabled the matter with him and pointed out every negative thing about Bella and told shegz he doesn't correct her enough....since them shegz made it his duty to change his "potential wife ".

I can bet she is always elated at their quarrels ....cos why r u sitting, analysing problems of same guy u had/have a crush on?

Make It make sense....those are the babes that would be forming moral support till there is an irreversible crack and they slide in...

"Such ladies" aren't always there for the money. And seeing how poor of a country Nigeria is, I'd support Safarigirl's submission on this. Of course, there are those that stay for the money but not all of them do.

I am not saying a lot of women don't take so much...those that fall into that category are not doing it cos they feel its a man...it is because they grew up believing it is their duty to keep their marriage and take whatever is thrown at them. The belief is that the more they take....the more virtuous they are. That's a different issue from the examples she listed....

Sheggz can easily make friends and keep them despite his short comings but Bella can’t because of her shitty attitude and her sister does virtually everything for her to live a comfortable life.

I think it's unfair to demonize shegz and absolve Bella of any responsibility on the issue at hand. Shegz and Bella are one and same. They have an exaggerated sense of self and can only tolerate people that nurse their ego. This is why Bella fell for shegz. He gave her a sense of belief that she was above every other lady in the house and because he chose her, she is special. He also felt him being with Bella, prettiest face in the house set him above every other guy. They started talking marriage from day 3. All through the close marking period, they never talked about aspirations and life values. It was just about Bella emphasising on how much she must be with a guy that can provide her a baby girl lifestyle while shegz was doing as much to sell himself as the rich guy that can provide same.

Now, Bella is very rude and condescending....same as shegz. They made themselves to be the "It" couple of the house and looked down on others. Now they have realized that their egos are clashing....but the shame of their relationship being a fluke as suggested by others is too much to face.

Shegz is acting a well thought out script to go far in the game...unfortunately he picked the wrong candidate. Bella is not the submissive type. Bella is at this point tolerating the whole thing cos this might just be selling outside and then no person to turn to.
