It's a combination of several factors....

Most importantly, there is what we call human dignity. Every human deserves respect just for being human.

And why do I feel like you are one of the older ones who won't respect themselves and jamtalk just because they are older and immune to taking responsibilities for their actions

Well...I m not....but I won't fail to put a disrespectful young person in their place ...albeit in a civil manner.

Being disrespectful to the older pple is just due to lack of proper upbringing...u can't justify it with anything.....even if u feel u were wronged by an elderly person...there are tactful ways to communicate same without being outrightly rude and saucy.

I am very expressive ....but as u grow older u begin to understand the importance of emotional intelligence.....your reactions would be viewed and appraised independently...no one is going to be looking at the triggering actions

Which respect do you carry on your head because of your age when you are on the same level with the younger ones? Pere is on the same level as Angel in that house, and respect in that house could never be about age, its something you earn. They are not at a family meeting like people like to point out. Professionally, respect is not about age, but about your status, ideally.

U see that is the misconception....that they are in biggies house still doesn't remove the fact that they aren't equal status wise, age wise and career wise....they r just equal as regards the rules that has to do with the game.

In my office , we go by first name basis, that doesn't mean you don't accord respect to those obviously senior to you. It takes a well trained individual to give respect to those its due....

Have u been in a situation where people far senior to you in age report to u...while u r senior professionally...u won't throw away the fact that they are older....and how u relate with them will be slightly different from those far younger...

It's wisdom....its training....its discipline
