As a trained medical doctor,there are some things you should not say in the public except if you are in the midst of your fellow professionals....when you say things like "alcohol have no direct damage on the kidneys"..,it will make so many People misinterprete you and assume that even if they drink too much alcohol consistently then nothing will happen to their kidneys and that is totally FALSE...


Though i understand what you mean by the bolded because I can relate totally with the knowledge but I won't come here to brag of my achievements in the medical field...I do not like bringing my offline career and life as a whole to a faceless forum..so I won't go further about that..........I am just on nairaland to catch cruise,have fun,make people laugh,make people frown,make them understand that in life,there will be joy and sadness,there will be smiles and frowns etc...

Now back to the point,ethically you should not be saying that in the public....medical jargons are not only what makes you a professional medical doctor,the ability to "pass information about the medical world" to an average tom and dick says alot.....can an average street trader come to you concerning their health issues and understand perfectly what you are counselling them about??can they in layman terms understand the medical problem they are facing when you explain to them even if they are illiterate ??etc....you will be attending to clients both literate and illiterate,what also makes you a doctor is the ability to be able to educate them about their health issues in a way they can understand ,a professional medical doctor is not just about treating patients,it is also about educating patients.....
