The million dollar question is ...what is his business with what the viewers like ? How does he know what will unsettle viewers?

There's an English word called "tact", which is synonymous to "discernment" and these refer to ones ability to pass wise judgement and apply such.

Even though Pere may be saying the truth, he simply lacked tact and good judgement by expressing such view in a Nigerian show and that was simply what WM was referencing when he said that Peres "truth" may not sit well with Nigerians who may feel slighted.

Now theres an Igbo proverb that says that a child does not say that his mothers food is not sweet. Mind you, the mothers food may not actually be sweet, but it will be stupid of the child to Express such.

Theres a reason they tell you when travelling to certain countries to not do certain things or express certain opinion as they may not sit well with the people.
