Pere isn't a saint abeg. Pere fans should stop painting Maria as a devil already. Pere did a lot on her game in the house.

Yes, she did deny the romance she had with Pere but she never denied they were involved as partners in the house. And I'm talking about the event in the house. Granted Pere possibly wanted commitment in the house but Maria didn't because she's got someone outside. Pere also claimed that he's got someone outside anyway. Point is this thing doesn't happen easily like that. You can't just leave someone you've probably known for years for a new fling. That was exactly what happened to Nina back then. Everyone kept on attacking Nina for refusing to denounce her boyfriend for Miracle despite doing stuff with Miracle but at the end of the day when she finally decided to go with Miracle, it turned out that it was Miracle who was actually living a lie. Abegi..

Personally, I felt they started having serious issues when they were both up for eviction. Pere kept parroting about Maria betrayal any chance he got. He probably thought Maria was one of the people who nominated him since she nominated him for fake eviction in the previous. He couldn't trust her again and kept saying some nonsense. Their relationship was kinda getting to the toxic level for me cos some of the things Pere was saying was absolute rubbish! I understand he was hurt but still...

Maria's eviction still pains me to the bone. I thought Liquorose fans would be voting for her based on 'bestie' factor. I didn't know they're one sneaky fake ass people. In fact, it was on Thursday when I saw several different agendas from Liquorose fans about Maria wanting Emmanuel, I realised they probably didn't vote Maria enough. Man obsessed fanbase. Who wants their boring dull toyboy btw? Toyboy who claims to be attracted to other ladies except Rose. Rather than put their wandering toyboy on leach, they were attacking Maria unprovoked. Yeye dey smell. Funny enough it was the same Maria who was always putting Emmanuel in check every time he was flirting with her or Angel. Heck, one of the reason why Maria had a problem with Angel in the first place (apart from Jackie instigation) was because Rose told Maria about Angel's gossip and said Angel wanted Emmanuel. So what are we saying? Mtchew... Fake ass people! E pain me aswear!

Pere is no saint oh...but neither is Maria...

Pple should stop blaming pere for her actions ....she also said awful things about Pere to liquor also...

Maria was loved and was everywhere when the show started till she got closer to Pere and his dark aura and let him get into her head by inciting her against White money who did nothing wrong to her. You saw the outrage on social media,the threats and hatred. If you don't acknowledge this fact then you are disingenuous and pretentious.
People refused to forgive and move on from that incident. Everything Maria did thereafter was amplified and exaggerated because she already lost public support and love.
Ironically, It was Pere that gained fans and public sympathy from the whole upset because people wanted to see a vilian upstage the viewer's favourite.
Maria simply lost and even those that originally chose her decamped to Pere and White money.

I knew it was going to end this way immediately she alligned with Pere and bought a beef that doesn't belong to her but I didn't know it was going to be this early.
The truth is White Money was equally going to leave if not that he gained a large fanbase. Pere moved against him with that kitchen strategy and wild card nonesense that was capable of inciting Hms and viewers against White money.

Pere's strategy was dangerous and he ended up taking down Maria in the process. As if that was not enough, he entered the DR to drag Maria twice and kept spreading embarrassing gist about her.
I blame Marians for not spinning things to her advantage because of their fantasy and delusional ship. People that were busy trolling other Hms yet couldn't see and call out Pere for messing up Maria's game.
A big sign of Stockholm syndrome.
It's unfortunate.

By the time the show is over, Pere would have successfully colonized and swallowed the entire Maria fanbase. Her fanbase is a mess and I felt like a wasted by time this season. Such incorrigible people.

Maria is not a genuine person...she didn't like pere romantically but was kissing and doing all stuff with him...interesting....housemates witnessed this....

She had no filter....she speaks and can be very dismissive and disrespectful then forms clueless when confronted.

That was a major character flaw for her...

Why do u think Pere gain fans...he owned his actions...the takes u said he peddled about Maria...he told her to her face in front of angel....and as usual she denied ....she tried to overplay being a gamer and it backfired....shikena

Pere knows when to apply pressure and then retreat to watch the ripple effects.....and in that calm state he would endear u to him

So I just watched Ebukas interview with Maria.

Sister said there was absolutely nothing romantic going on between her and Pere "and there will never be". She also went ahead to say she wished the guy never liked her and they were just friends. So, if you're a Peria shipper or one of those itibolibos opening shipping accounts Upandan on Instagram, better go and delete that rubbish.

Meanwhile, she ended by saying she really hope's that WhiteMoney forgives her as she now has a clearer view of proceedings.

The way Maria allowed herself to be eliminated and upstaged by Pere is unbelievable. Now watch Pere take over the remaining fans Maria has, look at all of them campaigning for Pere and voting for him like he is married to Maria. Don't you people understand that Pere caused Maria's downfall after he used her to fight White money? By the time the show is over, Maria will be left with fans that are more passionate and dedicated to Pere.
I am a Marian but I am ashamed of that fanbase. Maria deserves better fans that will concentrate on her.

It became tough the moment a fanbase that should have normally sit it out or sparing vote decided to go all out to get Pere out. To make matters worse the only fanbase he had an affiliation with was also up.

That he survived shows tenacity of his core base.
