Laycon was the fan favourite from day one and he would have topped the polls regarding which voting pattern used. I'm not an icon, just being factual. I can't say same for Efe. It is so disheartening, that a winner did not have any story arch whatsoever. Even Miracle that never went for his own Reunion still had his own highlights that Tobi had to defend.

I did not read anything you said past your "Laycon won 100 million", because I am sure that is the only fact in your write-up.

I have successfully given Laycon more highlights on this thread today, than he had on the entire show and the Reunion combined

Do a research of the most successful reality shows, and there is always a SHIP or more, in every one of them. Look at Love Island and Too Hot To Handle abroad, na ship ship everywhere. What the contestants do with that ship after the house, is not our business.

Vee used to code switch last year, and una no call her accent fake. How can someone who was born and did her basic studies, and tertiary studies in the UK have a fake UK accent? She literally learnt how to speak English with the English accent. It was Secondary School she did in Nigeria.

If she has a fake accent, it is the Nigerian one

Her accent is not fake tho ...however its acquired...its not her default accent...unlike vee and khafi ....even with their yoruba ..u could hear the underlying British accent....I think her basic and secondary schooling were in 9ja ....her default accent is Nigerian....which is why she defaults to it when she looses inhibitions..

I said this thing yesterday. Maria’s accent is fake. Extremely fake for that matter. You should have seen and heard her last night while she talked with (what’s that small boy with braided hair’s name again) there was no trace of a foreign accent. It was pure naija for good plenty minutes ( can’t put a tag on it. Wasn’t checking the clock) when person get foreign accent but were raised by naija parents, they can switch but not for long the way Maria did and it won’t sound very naija. She seemed to have forgotten herself last night.

I think she lived most of her life in 9ja...or mostly her formative years...the phone maybe a work requirement since she has to interact with mostly foreigners and also her mum is British...so definitely to acquire that accent is not far fetched...

One thing is certain tho...she can speak in 9ja accent without switching for a good length...

In my opinion, I think there needs to be a combination of several things - Intelligence, book smartness, street smartness, ability to think out of the box, luck, creativity, pro-activity, reactivity, intuition, experience, some shadiness, networking etc etc.

Whatever the mix is, it is that mix and not just one single trait that puts some people up and above their peers.

However, anyone who manages to hold onto wealth has to have a high dose of one of the things in the mix....

Every attribute you listed up there requires one basic thing....intelligence. how do you think out of the box? How do u garner and utilize experience, how do u key into luck? What makes you proactive? How do you know when to be intuitive?

The Diary Session was very boring, almost like Miracle's own, but Miracle was usually brief.

His own was long and boring.

He probably does better with one-on-one conversations, but otherwise, he stands the risk of just being the fine, boring guy. And if he does not find a ship, or cannot find his highly competitive side, he will really just be running on fine boy vibes.
