Everything that you need is on this forum. I was once a learner before, but today I can boast of single-handedly porting all tecno n3 custom ROM's starting from gingerbean to eblak to mokee and now the most powerful, beautiful, inspiring and above all strongest ROM so far made by Emmikem and adumbrated by Rajan Christian - JELLYBEAN 2.1. In all I can tell you that I don't have any difficulty installing them coz I followed their instructions on their threads except on WhatsApp and once I finish my exams I will try and make a donation. Those guys are really amazing. May Allah bless them!

I'm sorry for replying late. Download Rom Toolbox lite from playstore, open it and go to build.prop editor you'll see your stock build.prop, then go to upper left and backup. Flash your desired custom rom and re-install toolbox, from there you can restore your stock build.prop I hope this helps. Do enjoy your day!

Kennydollz: Solved my dvpn problem...all I had to do was restore my default build.prop of d original tn3 stock rom..jst ported to jellybean 2.1

Download nandroid manager from playstore open it and you'll see your stockrom backup if u've placed it in ur sdcard/clockworkmod/backup click on md5 and generate new md5 for ur stockrom. Goodluck!

Borwe: Okay, Did you guys know that micromax a56 and a57 have a shit load of roms that some of this roms had been based on. Good news is that all 15 ROMs work on tecno n3 but with one problem of not being able to read sim cards. I was wondering if someone could give me a patch on how to make it read sim cards? I can post link of full list of custom roms that work with this problem only. Reply then I will post after seeing interests in solving this issue

Yes the rom runs smoothly without any lag on tecno n3 - major issue is that it can't read both sims. I think its going to be the best tn3 custom rom we have seen so far if the sim card issue can be resolved. Here is the link http://www.mediafire.com/?8h9wmmy2t04u41i

Pls house help me i uploaded the srt 4669x software on my decoder from a link somewhere here and it uploaded successfully but switched itself off. Since then it hasn't come up again. Pls what av i done and wats the solution. I need ur help plzzzzzzzzz!

I read a write top abt partitioning it and in there, i saw after partition ,i hv to copy three folder app, dad etc and mount or paste dem in data sdtxt2...

cOpy DATA and DALVIK-CACHE only and link them back. There is no need to link app again in link2sd

I installed gingerbean v 3.0 but noticed that the sdcard has been changed to mnt/emmc, therefore I couldn't use my sdcard where I did the titanium backup. Secondly, there was nothing like "external storage" in my settings/ application/ install location, what I have was "removable sdcard". Thirdly, the sdcard mounted was automatically allocated a huge 15MB storage space. How the rom was able to achieve that I don't know. However, I remained contented with v 1.0. Engineers in the house,I think the ball is now in your court.

I don't know about Q1, but my first Android smartphone was N3. I bought it for 13,5k, followed the instructions on how to root it, partitioned the sdcard, increased the ram and just when I was about settling down with it it shut down on me. But its good for browsing. Now I'm using D5. I also bought it for 13,5k @ Akure. So far I've installed so many apps on it, and is still running flawlessly without rooting, unlike the N3. Although it's not as fast as the 3g N3, I can assure you that with good network, esp airtel (not so good in my area) you won't miss 3g. The highest app I have been able to download with it was 39mb, and it completed it in 5min.

Your solution is to create two fat32 as pry and one ext2 also as pry.
