drck:Yes. VI is an expensive place to live in, in terms of accommodation. But you've got that covered, yeah? The shopping part, it all depends on your needs and wants. How much you are able to save depends on your lifestyle, really. |
I'm guessing you're an expatriate. To your concerns. 1)As a Medical Doctor, practising in Nigeria, and in a private setup, the society generally respect your likes. You'd have no issues with garnering respects from folks around, even from fellow colleagues. 2) 300k, plus food and accommodation, fair deal. I have so many GPs as friends, I can authoritatively tell you none of them enjoy the package you are been offered. 300k monthly, with your accommodation and feeding sorted out for you is an excellent package, anywhere in Nigeria. 3)By surviving, what exactly do you mean? Pay utility bills and what else? It all depends on your lifestyle too. You can save as much as you choose to. My opinion though. 4) I don't quite get what you wrote there. But if you are concerned about your employer keeping to the terms of the contract you'd be signing, or have signed with him, I'll advice you have an open mind...one that can take disappointments. The private sector in Nigeria, when it comes to breaking terms of employment, they are kings. There's virtually not a law that puts them in check. Best wishes, Dr CK |
I don't understand you. You just lost? Meaning you intend to leave the 80k for them ni? Push for a refund, oga. However long it takes, hound them for your money biko. Sheybi you didn't get the item? |
collele:Some industry standards,I should suppose. Pharma interviews place more emphasis on self confidence and carriage. |
collele:No. I have friends there. |
Caliente: ![]() Some of us have that 'screwface' as a name here. Stop slandering it ![]() |
There's the basic, which is about 60k. You have daily feeding allowance. You have your driver's allowance too. And I know of out station allowance. The position you are being invited for seem like their OTC ranges, which is more like a goldmine. Forget ab negotiating the pay package with them. They have a standard, even more so for a new intake...without industry experience to start with. Good luck tho. |
Depends. They have Medical Reps/Executive. And there's Sales Representative, for their OTC ranges. Medical Executives earn higher. |
Onifari:All we can do is speculate, until your test results says otherwise. By frequent urination, what exactly do you even mean? The quantity of the urine, or how often you pee? |
Onifari:It could be many things. Might be infections, might also be diabetes. But all these are still speculations, until you do a confirmatory check. The test I'd recommend is your Blood Sugar Levels. If it's high, then there's where your problems lie. Again, do you do drink alcohol? How's your consumption rate? |
Onifari:Could be an infection, most probably. But redo the test first. |
You'd obviously need to redo that test somewhere else, preferably a good private hospital. Frequent urinating, although common, is not normal. |
I have one single rule towards lending out money. The rule applies to all, both family and friends. "Never lend out money you can't let go". That's just the only way to go about it. My own advice is, when you lend out money, count it as a loss. If you get it back, it's a bonus to you. Most times, you don't get it back, or you get in bits and pieces, which is frustrating on its own. Again, there are still some truthful and faithful people out there. The principle is still the same; do not lend out an amount you can't let go". |
