If you still want to buy alts as noobs despite the gospel against it, be patience, you’ll get it cheaper, it always looks unrealistic until it happens. Keep starking USDT and wait.

You might consider buying them only at that price or at 95% correction atleast ( save eth, bnb and sol)
If you follow these pattern , you’ll make money alt season or not because you don’t need them to hit ATH.
The worst that can happen is for those entries not to hit, the good news is you still have your money intact. Those coins have “solid” backing/community , they won’t die easily.
all you need is patience plus liquidity. It’s just like going to market on Saturday night to buy meat and fish , don’t worry, you go buy am at cheapest price possible plus ja ra ..😋

I get your point. The fact is, bear market takes 1 year and bull market takes 3 years. If you split the gain of BTC in a bull market into 3 years, now 1 year Vs 1 year and you'll see the 1 year of bear is better than the 1 year of bull. But, if you add the 3 years of bull vs the 1 year of bear, then bull wins.

I'm talking about BTC o. Duration of accomplishment must be taken into consideration.
I get your point my brother, but the fact that bull market takes 3 years and people(we) are still willing to wait that long sums up everything.. they(we) wait on the one with the most potentials.

Secondly in this cycle we’ve had more downside ( short) than upside (long) yet 99% of ct ,are in loss and pain. Why?.

However, if I may ask you, will you say we had alt season this cycle?
If NO,then I feel crypto juice has been squeezed out totally and no longer worth considering imo.

If NO, does that mean the 4-year circle is dead?
Does that mean btc and alts now operate on different cycle (time) frame ?

Moving forward, what are your expectations of the market I mean as regards alt season and btc dominance? ( doesn’t matter if you end up being wrong pls ). This among others is part of research I’m making in order to make informed decision when I return to crypto. Thanks boss.

I wish we can go back to the days when we used to debate like this on this thread.
You’re welcome my brother. That day is coming back when momentum returns to crypto; you’ll witness massive influx of crypto gurus and newbies just like the earlier days.. but until then , Eni orí yo, ódi’lé.😂

wish I started following him the very first day I saw illegend and one moniker like that ( I can’t remember) talked about him. They said he accurately ( almost) nailed the bottom and top of btc last cycle. That man has always been pro btc, he’s talked about the current crash we’re currently witnessing in one of his videos last year. he doesn’t go through the corners to condemn alts, he comes directly for it , he does give solid reason though and if you listen to him with open mind, your loss in crypto will be minimal.
One of the best alts( no memes) analysts on CT, imo, is credibullcrypto, the day he had a debate with cowen and lost was the day I gave Benjamin is flower ., he made credibullcrypto look so stǔpìd that I was ashamed on his behalf. The kind argument where you’ll immediately recognized where you got it wrong.

If there is one thing I’ve learned in this cycle, Bears make more money than Bulls!

This may be because fear is a stronger emotion than greed. As a Bear, you can sense when the fear is in the market (when the market about to move in your direction) but as a Bull it’s very hard, too many news to keep your hope high and confuse you lol…

Being in a good shorting position when the market is crashing feels like blood money.
I disagree my bro. if we’re to put this into practice , I think one makes more money in bull ( longing ) than shorting ( bear) because longing has unlimited upside shorting doesn’t. When you buy a coin now let’s say Pepe and you long the price can theoretically rise forever, 10x, 100x your entry. Your potential gain has no cap, e fit dey go like that , on the other hand if you short you’re betting it’ll fall. The worse a coin can go is 99%.. so your maximum gain is 99% of what you shorted. Market has long term upside bias , coins pump. Unlike short that will keep moving side ways before it finally dumps .

See , if people make more money in bear, trust me nobody will be crying over bull market again, we will all wait for bear and do the needful,

The crypto market is meant to be traded NOT invested in. One can learn to day trade or swing trade it or even position trade it but avoid investing. BTC will NEVER EVER amount to anything other than purely a speculative asset. If anyone wants stability a little you are better of investing in stocks. The very concept of "buy and hold" is over!

Modified: Most people should not blindly buy crypto because it is highly speculative and volatile. If you're interested in crypto, understand the risks and avoid allocating money you cannot afford to lose. For long-term wealth building, diversified stock investments have historically provided stronger fundamental backing than most cryptocurrencies.
well, I agree with you. Investing in stocks makes sense than crypto. Atleast you know you’re banking your money on companies with real businesses that have intrinsic value plus regulation and investor protection.
I disagree on trading crypto instead of investing.
Research shows hodlers of btc ( investors) 90% of time outperform traders. 99% of people don’t make money from actual trading, shey you know?, if they do, trust me no one will waste time waiting for bull run.
Like I said in that post, some-days euphoria will return and the best bet will always be btc.
InvestmentRe: Crypto Currency Investors Thread by seanwilliam(m): 6:57am On Jun 04
If you’re still in crypto , especially alts at this point, I really don’t know what to say to you. Institutions that have smartest of the smartest laps are chopping moro, you wey dey somewhere in okokomaiko with 1k$ are now thinking you’ll beat the system. You’re funny. On a norms, nothing supposed concern you with fundamental and technical analysis other than to buy and hold. But the game has changed..! It doesn’t matter at this point bros because you’ll still lose!.

This is not the time to sugarcoat anything or being ambiguous, don’t become the exit liquidity final boss. YOU WILL NOT RECOVER. I might not be as rich as some OGs here o, but I’ve lost money that someone from poor background will consider ‘ life changing ‘. I’m yet to recover, You can argue that it’s skill issue, but when you log out and reality hits you hard, you’ll comport.

If you’re going to buy anything atall, concentrate majorly on (95%) btc and even that should be with money you won’t be needing for a very long time and you have to keep DCAing to lower your average so you can profit faster. MAYBE bnb too with the remaining 5%. Even sol is not looking good at the moment, if you MUST buy alts, consider lower low before buying.

Crypto has changed!I don’t want to bore you with plenty talk, get out of alts now while you can, don’t fall for sunk cost scheme. The funnest thing is, you’re not going to get liquidated straight up, it’ll be slow, painful and steady and by the time you realise , you’re finished!.

If you’ currently hold any memes just avoid this post because me and you know say you’re a retardio .
SBF was the fall guy for last cycle
Michael saylor might be for this cycle .
Count your loss and move on to better things,
Crypto is not the only way up. Somedays, I know sanitation, regulation, liquidity and euphoria will return to crypto but until then , survive first.
Goodluck.📍

This Mr valwezzy deactivating his account confirms that he’s a scam. It’s funny how one can choose to ruin reputation cos of 10$😂. He sent me a pm days ago on my WhatsApp asking if i can receive 10$ paypal, the money is too low and I don’t trade such amount, he kept messaging me, being a new supplier which I believe might have a better deal next time, I had to agree and trade with him. I used a Kenya info and I clearly stated it should be fnf and not gns, also being a 30 min info, I told him to comply with time limit and shouldn’t send less down 10$ charges excluded.
He sent it, I gave him 600/$ rate, my recipient couldn’t confirm on time, this guy kept huh ’ me for payment, I sent him the 6k, thinking his payment has gone through , besides I felt the money is too low to lose breath on, later, the recipient refunded the payment because it’s not fnf and he sent below 10$( charges included with the 10$)I sent this guy screenshot demanding why he failed to follow instructions .
Walai this one no reply again o , he blocked me, he stopped picking calls. I was initially asking him to confirm the refund and send my 6k or we try new trade.

So how did I know it’s this particular moniker?
Naturally if a strange number texts me for trade on WhatsApp, 99% of time
It’s either from a referral , twitter or nairaland , and my instinct reminds me that I’ve come across this name( mrwezzy) before , I kept digging until I found a valwezzy, so I quoted his post ( it was a gamble actually, I wasn’t sure it’s same person), so this morning I discovered the moniker has deactivated his account. Can you connect the dots now?
Untop how much nah?
Even if he told me he had spent the Money I swear I’ll overlook it.
6k is what I’ll give him on a norms.

Why am I ranting ? So that you don’t fall for his trick or related tricks. Don’t be shocked he’ll have many monikers and he’s possibly reading this now. Be careful out there, brothers.

Every time we keep hearing banks are holding up clarity act, can't Trump use executive powers to get this done if truly he wants this done. Banks are not lawmakers, I just feel these guys are using banks as smokescreen. Did he even wait for Congress approval before striking Iran? These guys are not serious
God bless you. A man should be able to look into the mirror and tell himself the bitter truth.
The current Reality is crypto is no longer what it used to be, these people intentionally ruined the only surest level play ground a son of nobody get to make it from ground zero. Days of x20,x100 are over, so many investors currently are suffering from sunk cost fallacy. They don’t want to admit it.

Despite shege shown to investors in 2025, if anyone is still trapped in this shït then the person deserves all the pain and agony without pity. Trying to act smart when you deeply don’t know the market direction is pure stupidity..

To newbies reading this, here is my advice ;
1. Wait for btc crash and pick up your alts at the cheapest price possible.. for alts, with the current market conditions, entry is the only thing that can guarantee your success. It’s better to miss a good entry, save yourself than buying the ‘top’ and losing your hard earned money.
2. Stick to btc, you need to be super lucky and super smart to win on alts , provided you’re in for the long term game, you’ll win with btc. Employ DCA, and watch your investment compounds. Trust me you can’t be smarter than institutions and HNWIs buying only btc. Cheers

bro, take your time to study the current market conditions and past performances. It’s better to miss the bull than losing one’s hard earned capital in a country with little to zero disposable income.. there will always be opportunities in crypto but you won’t be able to grab it without capital .. so for now, stack up and learn first.. normally , e get where you go study reach, you’ll naturally know what to do.

No one knows. I remember waiting to catch the bottom last bull run and then when it started going back up I was too scared to come in so i missed out so i've been waiting for this opportunity to do it right this time. Now I'm just dollar cost averaging. So you can buy some now. If it goes down buy more. If it goes down again buy more. Eg. If you have 100k in total to buy. You can buy 20k or 10k worth now. And so on. I am a kinda like a beginner so I'm reading more on DCA and set it to buy a certain amount every sunday regardless of price that's another way to do it. All the best.
with the current market condition , this strategy works best on btc. Stick to it until the dust settles, with long term mindset , you’ll eat big. you’re not smarter than institutions dumping alts to get cheap btc o. This is for you and anyone reading this trying to play smartness on alts at the moment.
Wishing you the best sir.
