Somethings are better handled with wisdom, like lady Chummy said both of them are at faults and needs to have a heart to heart, the issue is not in the man being some-way as the OP said but in the manner in which she handled it. To make money in crypto is not really hard tbh.
Most people that lose money see it as a get rich quick scheme and want a massive gain overnight so either fomo or buy any trending coin. But no matter how good a project is, it must have some moments of retracement. This retracement can take days, weeks or even months... This is the time when people in this category get frustrated and remove their money in loss.

To benefit maximally in crypto, look for 2 to 3 solid projects with good community (many of them have been discussed on this thread), make sure you don't buy when they are pumping, wait for retracement and DCA if you want but never buy during pump.
