Peter Obi has become star boy in the Nigerian polity. But, he really needs to be careful and calculative before making any move.

He may end up finding himself in a tight situation just like Senator RMK. If ADC eventually picks Atiku, he may want to use another platform, and doing that will not be too good for his image (after moving from APGA to PDP to LP to ADC).

Except if the northern ADC bloc wants to only use him to wrest power from Tinubu and then dump him, I believe the ADC is the surest platform for him to achieve his presidential ambition.

I hope so too and I think that Atiku will be gentleman enough to hand over to him when his tenure finishes.

Why then did he fail to attend this crucial burial that seems to be at the very top of it all?.

I am Obidient from Anambra. If Obi had contested with Atiku in 2023, he would have been closer to the seat of power ever by now. No Igbo man including Peter Obi will win presidential election from the opposition in Nigeria even though obi is the most suitable for the job.

Have you ever wondered why Tinubu supporters want Obi as ADC candidate? They want an easier opposition. Atiku is the only one to match Tinubu fire for fire, especially now that there is a movement in the north against the incumbent president.

Our problem is the we don't make calculations. Northerner will rather stick with Tinubu that gambling with another Southerner who could rule for more 8 years.
