And this is why I marvel when they call him master strategist because there’s nothing strategic about all the moves he has made since he got into power.
I’m waiting for the magic he wants to do in 2027. Lemme see how he’d rig when nobody votes for him; even in his tribal-infested native region. You rig election where you are popular and the idiot is popular no where across the country |

MadPolitician: The North has Bola Tinubu where they want him. The north basically herded him into an ditch. Since his ego won't allow him to get serious minds to help him out of there, he will continue to fumble untill the whole thing blows up in his face. That may happen quicker than later, because they people will not keep quiet and die atbhomes deu to poverty.
The north never supported tinubu put of love, or any "southern turn" nonsense. Actually what happened was that the North having been in governance for a very long time, knew that Nigeria was facing a huge economic mess post subsidies. Theyare also aware that subsidy removal was the only way out, since earnings were almost being used tonpay off debts.
What you expected tinubu to do was to phase in changes little by little, with programs to cushion the effects. But no. He basically doubled the pains by removing subsidies, deregulating the exchange rate, increasing tariffs, jacking up school fees and even VATs, all at the same time. He overloaded the system. That's sheer administrative madness. Tinubu is building a new Nigeria na. He wants to demonish the existing Nigeria and build one from afresh like he built lagos. 😂 😂 😂 |

DeLaRue: By 'everything', I assume you mean fuel subsidy in particular.
Well, it can be done, but there will be severe economic consequences.
If the president announces that he is restoring full subsidy, the international institutions lending Nigeria money will stop doing so. Naira will immediately fall to around N2,000, and slowly move towards N2500 and beyond.
Any benefit people gain from the reintroduction of full subsidy will be lost as prices of everything imported will shoot up to unprecedented levels. Prices of locally produced goods will follow.
So, as you can see, reversing subsidy removal can be done. Nobody will stop Nigeria from doing it. But the pain thereafter will be worse than before. We should be prepared to buy a loaf of bread for N3000 or N4000. May be N5000 or N6,000. Not possible? Ask the people of Lebanon.
See Venezuela, Iran etc for developing countries that don't generate enough revenue but still refused to remove subsidy. What was Jonathan doing that kept the economy stable under his regime. The builder of Lagos is a dullard. Accept that fact. |

It sure as hell isn't going to be PDP as those ones won't give Atiku the ticket again.
So which party will this happen ?
Obi isn't looking towards Atiku's side but is wooing the likes of kwankwaso .
But kwankwasso will not be going for someone like Obi.
This is for sure.
I see Obi entering alliance with the political destitute El Rufai.
It will be interesting seeing you guys start praising the midget . Oga before 2027 both Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, El Rufai and many others will be in the same camp to dislodge the drug lord. You self no wetin I ey talk. |

Hillarie: Her endorsement might not really mean much. A very large percentage of her followers are under the voting age. Besides, if there is anything we learnt from the 2023 elections, it is the fact that celebrities' endorsements don't guarantee election victory. Politics no be Hollywood and Pop music game. Yeah, im the ZOO. Do you think that American are as foolish as you are in the ZOO. Another thing we learnt is that the celebrities saw the calamitous Tinubu more than others but some fools in the ZOO couldn't see that. What's happening after the warnings of those celebrities? Americans will learn from that as well. |

You are part of the people that believe that Tinubu will build Nigeria as you guys believed that he built lagos after supporting Buhari for 8 years. I think that reality is staring at you now. It was your tribal sentiment and emotions that made you to believe that a thief will fix Nigeria. Next time think deeper. |

sIfioksq: Peter Obi is just playing the victim card again. When he was busy dancing around in Anambra, did he ever think about the real threats facing the Igbos?
Now he wants to act tough after years of silence while his supporters were throwing stones at their own people.
This is the same man who couldn't stand up for his people when it mattered most.
Instead of calling for arrests, why not focus on how to unite the Igbos instead of dividing them further? His leadership is all talk, no action. The insecurity in the south east as you claim is as a result of bad government because the last time I checked southeast is still part of Nigeria and the only commander in chief of armed forces is tinubu. So insecurity in the southeast is also a failure on tinubu's side. Can we now or agree that tinubu has failed in all ramifications? |

Perhaps, you should also be prosecuted for calling for a religious war between Christians and Muslims.

The only mistake PBAT has made so far is floating the Naira without at least two working refinery, aside e this PBAT as done well so far bcs the rots caused by PMB will take some administrative years to fix and it's high time that PMB boys are probed starting from AGF Malami to PMB rats Was he part of buhari regime or not? Candidly, I can't understand a region where someone scored almost 99% in all the states, but the person will instruct them to come out and protest and they will disobey.

Tinubu is busy laying the foundation for a better Nigeria while some are busy protesting.
Instead of stirring the pot, let’s see Obi present constructive ideas that can actually move the nation forward.
Nigerians are waiting for action, not just talk. If he really cares, he should collaborate rather than create division. why will an ordinary third class business man bring solution to a first-class accountant solution while he has Soyinka to give him solutions? En be like say you no get sense. |

How can you ignore protest because you want to deal with the hausa and yoruba... comeon mehe In Nigeria today, igbos have the least number of salary earners and the most people suffering this hardship are salary earners. You can see that the south is relatively quiet , but the heat of this protest seems to be highest in the north and surprisingly, the north were the ones that voted en masse for APC and tinubu Unfortunately for southern politicians, the south is not United and will never be. I fear that the North will take over power come 2027. I don't care who becomes Nigerian president again because one thing is sure, Nigeria will never get it right. |

Your hate for Tinubu keep reducing Peter obi vote in west, you can't hate north and west expect obi to win Peter Obi won't rule but Nigeria will never get it right. The federal government granted a waiver on importation of food item three days to the protest, something they should have done since but they fear that it will favour igbos more. They did it at the nick of time because things were getting out of hand. The bane of the country is trying hard to keep igbos down. When igbos are down the country will suffer more. Check the administration that were pro Nigeria and included everyone, they did well. Check obj and Jonathan regime compare is it calamitous regime of buhari and Tinubu who are fighting to deal with igbos. We will survive more no matter who becomes president. |
