mustyNEMESIS: Why are you still crying and wailing over an election loss that happened over a year ago?
It is obvious your candidate lost. It was a woeful loss. Even the candidate that came second has already moved on, planning for the next election.
Your half-clever antics is so childish. You want the nation to burn because your candidate lost. Nothing in this administration makes sense to you.
You are quick to comment and post any negative news about Nigeria. You can’t tell me you are a patriot. You know why? You avoid any negative news that has to do with Obi and LP, but always quick to jump on anything Tinubu.
If I may ask you, what exactly is your grouse with Tinubu? Although I know it’s because he trounced Obi… but I believe there is something more to this… 2 years is a long time to wail on someone that doesn’t even know or care if you exist. And you will still continue like this for another two years. I really do not envy you.
You want us to believe everything we read online about Tinubu. What about the ones we ready about Obi. Are we not supposed to believe them too? Or what are you being selective on what to believe and what not?
I believe you read the pandora papers… same way I believe you heard Obi was also caught with cash in hundreds of millions. Obi didn’t conduct LG elections till few weeks before the election and of his 8 years tenure. Doctors were on strike for months. Bad roads and erosion gullies everywhere in Anambra during Obi tenure. How did he suddenly become the savior?
Let’s face the fact, Obi can’t compete with Tinubu in all ramifications… not at all.
You keep bringing up all this accusations.
1. You talked about self-inflicted personal baggage of Tinubu. He has presented his biography. If you don’t believe him, that’s on you. You talked about his age, name, certificate, etc.
You should know that not everyone will be able to remember or point to some of the people they attended same primary and secondary school together.
On his certificate, the school he graduated for already defended his degree and certificate. What else do you want on that… oh, you prefer we believe your hearsays instead of the school?
Or do you think any school in the US will risk their integrity and reputation defending a black man?
Now, let me ask you. Did you attend college? If yes, how will I certify that you actually graduated? From your school or some minions?
Who are the Nigerians you always refer in your post? The same Nigerians that the majority elected the current president?
Either you like it or not, election has come and gone. Start preparations for the 2027 general election. Tinubu will complete the 4 years mandate the citizens has given him. Only death or sickness can stop him.
A word of advice. Get something better doing with your time instead of searching the web every seconds for any negative news about Nigeria.
FYI, I’m not a fan of Tinubu. I am a concerned Nigeria, praying and hoping the country works, irrespective of the occupier of the seat of the president. Anytime you want to type nonsense make it snappy. Pig. |

Salewa97: Sunday Igboho knows what's up. Protests don't always yield the desired results, and sometimes they just lead to unnecessary chaos.
It's commendable that he's thinking about the bigger picture and prioritizing peace over conflict. Yoruba people have always been known for their wisdom and ability to navigate tricky situations without spilling blood.
This is a call for unity, not division. We should focus on constructive dialogue rather than taking to the streets. Let’s find solutions that uplift our people and showcase our strength as a united front.
Omo Oduduwa, we have always been a peaceful people, and we should maintain that legacy. Let's channel our energy into building a better future for all. A typical Yoruba fool. So Sunday igboho is more intelligent than Soyinka the old fool who protested against Jonathan |

Having differing views does not make someone an enemy, and it is crucial to engage in constructive dialogue rather than resorting to personal attacks or negative remarks.

Both of them will end up achieving nothing significant. Obi's protest will be another flop, just like his presidential ambition. When will he learn that shouting on the streets doesn't equate to real change? If he spent half the energy he uses for protests on actual governance when he had the chance, maybe we wouldn’t be in this mess. Protesting won't change the fact that he lost the election. Politics › Re: Shelve Protest, Give Me More Time: Tinubu begs youths amid Aug planned protest by searchlight: 11:33pm On Jul 23, 2024 |
GreatKingg: In as much as I support the reform being carried out by this administration, I don't think it is wise enough to tell the citizens not to protest peacefully. Peaceful protest is part and parcel of democracy - which we currently practice.
Moreover, Tinubu and his goons protested against GEJ. If I'm not mistaken, it seems they even led the protest, not just a regular protester. They now sound more like hypocrites - urging and begging people not to protest peacefully.
Now, my only problem is Nigerians don't know how to protest peacefully. It is difficult for a peaceful protest not to be hijacked by criminals in Nigeria. That is my only fear in this.
The administration should not be afraid of a peaceful protest. But the fear of the mayhem(s) that has always followed the so-called peaceful protests in Nigeria is scary. A lot of criminals are waiting by the corner to unleash mayhem on people and businesses, all in disguise of protest.
All in all, the government should communicate clearly with its citizens, assist the poor and the needy in this difficult period of the reforms, and more importantly, cut down on government cost.
I was so disturbed and concerned when news broke the other day that the Nigerian government released N90 billion to subsidize the cost of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage for citizens. This is not only wasteful, but so unreasonable in a country where over 50% of its citizens live below the poverty line. The government really erred on this. Imagine what that amount could have provided for each family in this difficult period.
But on a second note, Nigeria is a very religious country. The subsequent government tries to assuage different religious groups so as not to be labeled anti-christian/anti-muslim. At the end of the day, we (both citizens and leaders) are our problem.
As I have always maintained, we need re-orientation as a nation. Did you vote for Tinubu during the election? If you voted for Tinubu during the election, this long note that you wrote to show that you have sense just showed that you went to school but have no single sense. Believing that Buhari and now Tinubu would keep Nigeria the way they met her and not run her aground makes you an adult fool. |
