Business / Re: How Do I Save My Money In Dollars? by sedIoyol(m): 6:39am On Oct 07, 2023
chipsypop:
Hi guys.
I recently got a remote job and my employer pays my monthly salary through Deel.
I want to save the money in dollars, considering the rate at which the Naira is losing value.

I have a domiciliary account but I'm afraid of sending the funds to it. Since there's no dollar in the country, banks may not be willing to give me the money when I need it.

I've considered leaving the money on Deel but Deel automatically withdraws the money for you after 30days.

So remote workers and those that transact regularly in dollars, how do you save your funds?
For those that use dom, do you readily withdraw your funds when you need it?

Every input is appreciated.
your domiciliary account is still the best. There are individual who buy funds in domiciliary account.

Maybe she knows you're not the father. When you get a hold of her and after the baby is born, ensure you do a DNA paternity test

Career / How To Land Your First Job As A New Graduate by sedIoyol(m): 6:10pm On Oct 04, 2023
For most folks, there's very little hopes out here by way of employment opportunities fresh out of school. What do you do in a man-know-man world like Nigeria when you don't have 'long-legs",

This video offers a few practical but controversial counsel like:

-Take up the very first job offer regardless of how crappy or blue collar it is.

In addition, they're advised on how to go about managing the transition from that first crappy, low-paying job into the career of their dreams. The advice is practical, easy to apply but requires a lot of patience, humility and a brutal reality check about employment opportunities in today's job market.

I hope you find something useful in the video, and all the best with your job search.
