Travelile-ife the source by seeni4ever(op): 12:54am On Dec 02, 2005
i was born in this ancient town in 1983. i have my primary(elementry) and secondary(high) school education in this town before i came to usa in 2003. but being in united state doesn't stop me from thinking about this this ancient town ile-ife "the source of the yoruba race".
this town was discovered far back 500 bc;yeah, 500 bc, before the birth of jesus christ and this always makes me think that it might be one of the oldest town in the world.
according to the yoruba traditional believe, they believe that this town is the source of the wolrd, which i partially disagree with, but who knows?. we all know that garden of eden is the house of the first man on earth according to the believe of some major religions and the scientists also have there own version "the apes version".
since nobody knows where the garden of eden is or the origin of apes, then i can say the yoruba traditional believe about this town(ile-ife) is true in there own version.
i am urging our archaeologists to go to this town to do some research may be they can get some truth about the source of the world.

TV/MoviesNigeria Movies: Which Way Forward? by seeni4ever(op): 10:30pm On Dec 01, 2005
do you know that just of recent i learned that Nigeria is the third largest movie producing country in the world!!!. this must be some kind of stupid joke, i think maybe they want to say the third largest trash movie producing country in the world. if we are the third, where are the movies?. today in Nigeria, 90% of the movies are below African standard talkless of world standard. in Nigeria, we have thousands of producers producing thousands of silly and stupid movies. this people should go to school and learn how to produce, they cant just start producing just because they have some amount of money. there was this guy in Nigeria before named yemi ayebo or something like but he is popularly known as "yemi my lover". this guy is the leader of the first generation of the brainless producer in Nigeria. he is really sucks!.
even before we have high tech equipments, we have producers in the 70's and 80's with limited equipments and still they produce good movies. instead of things improving, it is getting stupid. do not get me wrong on this, we still have superb producers like tunde kilani of mainframe production, i think they should learn from this man, he is really good. the only part of Nigeria entertainment industry that is growing rapidly is the music industry, Nigeria is world class standard in this. we should give kudos to our musicians, they are awesome.

Music/RadioRe: Best Nigerian Musicians? by seeni4ever(m): 9:56pm On Nov 29, 2005
generally i love nigerian music, i am abig fan of nigerian music of any kind. to me i can't say that someone is the best 'cos there are many styles of music in nigeria. in fuji music, adewale ayuba is the all time best no doubt about this, the guy is great, in juju music, my own personal best is IK dairo(r.i.p), in hiphop, during the time of remedies, they are the best but now i will like to stick with tony tetuila, in afro music, lagbaja is my choice, in traditional yoruba song, aruna ishola is the master. these people as done great in there different categories and to say someone is overall best, that is not possible.[sub][/sub] angry
LiteratureRe: Best African Author: Wole Soyinka or Chinua Achebe? by seeni4ever(m): 12:14am On Nov 29, 2005
Neither of them is good enough. my own personal best is D.O Fagunwa, the author of ogboju ode ninu igbo irumole and irinkerindo ninu igbo elegbeje. the first one was translated to english by wole shoyinka, that show how classic the book was
TravelRe: Where Would You Love to Have Your Honeymoon? by seeni4ever(m): 12:08am On Nov 29, 2005

PoliticsFoundation of a Good Economy: Communication, Transport, Electricity and water by seeni4ever(op): 1:17pm On Nov 28, 2005
I was talking with my brother on the phone sometimes last week and i asked him to give me the email address of four of my friends in Nigeria, then he said he can give me their cell phone numbers. i was supprise to hear this, my friends have cell phones?. that means in terms communication, Nigeria and Nigerians are no more left behind.

But does this means that Nigeria is getting better or Nigerians are finding ways  to make themselves feel better despite of the problems we have in the country.

To be sincere, in Africa today Nigeria is the best in terms of communication, maybe after S.Africa. but there are other three things that we need in this country which are good roads, stable electricity and good water supply. if we have these three then plus good communication that will be equal to good economy. in developed countries today, these things are the bases of their good economy and they can not do without them. communication without mobility is nothing.
