Governor Akeredolu rightly put his money where his mouth is by building that flyover at Ore thus enhancing commerce. That alone should give him a second term but it would appear that I do not have a clear understanding of the politics of the citizens of Ondo State ! Strange to imagine he must fight this hard to win a second term!! Stomach infrastructure would clearly to be the preference of Ondo State electorate if he loses. They learnt nothing from the EKITI under the Ponmo cutting misfit of a Governor known as Ayo Fayose! He rode Ekiti roughshod and was a bull in a China shop while EKITI state Governor. Things were so bad friends who hailed from EKITI were ashamed to be so counted!

That's why I said politicians can be dissapointed.. The Aketi I know na fine gentle man .. He also had problem with Oshiomole in the last election, he handled it maturely than the likes of Amosun, Yari and Okorocha.

I think the Agboola is too ambitious and the same time confused...

Jegede is also a fine gentle man but always at wrong party just like GNI in Ogun state.

Politics is about realistic calculation...

One great oversight made by Osemawe overtime is the omission to make Baales or Dukes for settlements under his kingdom that became prominent for one reason or the other. Ore for instance became this prominent because it is a nodal community connecting NSEW ZOF Nigeria. By the time Osemawe woke up to the reality of the times it was too late to assert his overlordship to the point that Ore is now virtually a no man’s land of sorts!

I remember d staff of office was issued by a military governor.The king used his influence of d governor to be installed.If not for that, Ore ought to be under the kingship of Odigbo Kingdom

Your observation on the demographics of Ondo state isn't exactly correct. The last census of 2006 gave a rough idea of the demographics.. The most populated to least populated in order are: Akokos (Akoko North, South, East and West), Ondos (Ondo West, East and parts of Odigbo/Ile-Oluji), Akures (Akure South, North and Ifedore), Ikales ( Okitipupa and Irele), Ilajes and Owo to come last.
