The madness of the whole thing is that visiting visa cost around $119 and some people are deceived to pay a solicitor £500 up to apply for 'judicial review' and wait for months for the outcome. Spot on sir |

I'm just going to say this for the sake of the gullible members here..
If you are refused a visa and you strongly felt that the ECO made a mistake then simply write a letter of complain pointing out those areas the ECO got it wrong and your application will be revisited again.
Do not pay anybody for such letter, don't be deceived by some people asking you to contact them so as to get you a letter for a fee.
Letter of complain does not have any format and does not have to be written by an immigration lawyer or solicitor, anybody can write one.
If somebody can't help you openly here and requested for private discussion then there is something fishy going on Good job sir, Please, where should the letter be addressed to? |

NanaOne1: I have seen a couple of people who were refused and one thing runs through the reason. That they do not have strong ties in their home country to make them return if they are not selected during the army training. Looking at your profile, no work or school, you need a miracle for the visa to be granted because you have close to zero ties to compel you to come back.
For Uk army assessment, already you have declared your intention of working in the UK and ECOs are aware that it is not an automatic selection during the assessment so they pay attention to you ties in your home country.
The advise I sometimes give people who want to join UK Army is to apply for a normal visitor and when you arrive you attend the two days assessment. Hi @NanaOne1 I'm trying to message you. Please check. Thanks |

ekpotek: Sorry I have not read your refusal letter. However, the fact that you did not declare certain income or had acquire additional sources of income between applications is not a base for a refusal. If you have sufficient documentation to proof that the said property belong to you. I will encourage you to re apply and address the issues raised by the ECO. However let your reason for re application by time sensitive and not seen as a desperation. My take. Thank you. I have noted this |

Floraoye0417: Sincerely, I don't think there's anything to include in ur application for now. Just give it time. The issue is that they feel u can't own a property within that short period of time since u didn't include it in ure first application. That's my interpretation of the refusal anyway. I stand to be corrected though. So just give it time cos reapplying might look like desperation. Okay. Thank you |
Travel › Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Seeyat: 12:10pm On Aug 03, 2019 |
NanaOne1: From your letter, i think the ECO doubts how you were able to purchase the property because it seems you did not declare it in your previous application which makes them doubt the genuineness of it. Did you declare the property as an additional source of income? if no then this is what made the ECO doubt how you were able to acquire the property since you last refusal. This will be a bit difficult to justify now so like others have said you need to give them time like maybe two years so that when you apply that time an the property is still available and you receive income from it they would not doubt much.
Usually ECOs try to read unfavorable meanings into such situations but most times they are wrong and if challenged legally they are convinced that you are telling the truth. If you have the means and you are sure that the property belongs to you, I think you can proceed for a Judicial review which comes at a cost though. The main reason for the refusal is the new property acquired so challenging them will let them know that you are telling the truth. If you dont have the means then you can wait for some years
My small take Thanks for your input, i have every document to back it up. My question is what and what do I need to include as to prove myself right and to convince them that it's legit? |

justwise: Your refusal letter said you did not and that is the main problem here, the only thing you have been able to prove is that you work and earn salary but your salary is not good enough for a foreign holiday. Brother i earn 200k after tax. In my last application i included my property documents and rent receipts including a cover letter. What can i do to make things right? |

Monmarri: Sorry about the refusal. Well I have read your refusal and all the objections that the ECO gave. From what i can see ECO was not satisfied with your personal and financial circumstances. Not satified with the authenticity of the property. I will advice you stay away from UK application for now at least one year, give then time so that they will not see u as bin desperate. travel to other countries, build up a comprehensive statement of account and try to make next application straight and simple. Please try to get ready all the documents to support your previous refusal on the property when making next application. All the best in future application. Thanks |

giselle237: Keep the refusal notes close and give them a proper addressing especially of how you purchased your property in your next application.
U will bounce back better and stronger and in the next application. Just guve them time to show you are not desperate. If you go now while it’s still hot, u might not be successful. You can get to vacation in other places whilst you are giving them time. This would help your narrative in the next application that you are truly a tourist seeking entry clearance. Sorry once again Thanks i really appreciate |

giselle237: seeyat I am so sorry about this your refusal especially how much you put into this application. It is obvious this ECO read your cover letter, saw your salary credits but is busy refusing you on grounds of how you were able to get your property. I feel they just don’t want to give you at this time caus this refusal stems majorly from the last application. Leave them alone. Don’t reapply now. This is 2 strikes already. Give them a break say 1 year and then reapply. For me don’t reapply to them now. Okay, thanks a lot |

This is what i receiced today, can somebody please tell me what to do because i want to reapply
ECO did not complain about insufficient funds in my last application, i wonder why it was stated in this refusal letter
I also mention about receiving rent in my previous application and also submitted rent receipts and other documents as evidence.
I'm tired of these people.

Please I need experience here, has anyone received his/her visa, without the ECO contacting there sponsor, employer and so one... Please I need to know.... Many thanks Yes it's possible, i just got a mail that my visa application has been concluded, my employer was not called neither my bank called. I'm patiently waiting for TLS to update me. |

ConnectMee: Hello All,
I intend applying for a visitor's visa for the first time. I am self-employed, have a registered company and a bit of travel history, mainly African countries.
I need to know if I'd need a tax clearance certificate for my company to apply for a visitor's visa.
Thanks in advance. Yes you need it |
