my point exactly is, scrapping our colleges of education isn't the solution, what is expected is enhance that system, return it to it old glory, make it attractive to prospect and see people pick up forms.

the Nigerian government and system devalued the colleges and it certificate by making of lesser value to BEd, same thing we are currently doing to HND as against BSc.

back then there use to be a GRADE 2 Teachers training colleges all over the country, it was collapsed for BEd thereby making NCE of a lesser certification in education.

the best was out is make NCE certificate of value to prospect and like a waste of time you make feel, and see how lucrative it will be. add value to teaching job, make it attractive and lucrative (incentives, remuneration and compensation also returning them to participate in the nysc scheme).
