I'm curious as to why the company needs remote access to your PC. To listen to your live conversation, they don't need remote access to your PC. They can listen by using the barge, whisper or monitoring features of VOIP.

That said your VPN has nothing to do with denying remote access, by default, no one can have remote access to your PC except you explicitly allow the access, use a remote access app, or a company provided PC.

The vpn might have block your employers from connecting to your pc. To avoid stuff like these Setup your own vpn by using ipv4 assigned to low end linux servers from digital ocean, vultr etc using open vpn.

It cost 5 to 7 usd for running the server every month.
If you are low on cash look for any Nigerian card and load minimum of 1usd then use the card to create a free trial aws ec2 acc and setup a vpn with any of the free trial ec2 liniux server using open vpn. Free trial aws acc last for 1 year. After a year use a new card with different email to get a new acc and repeat same process.
