This incident occured around Gwagwalada, Abuja. According to the eyewitness, the offense of the driver was that he tried to overtake the men riding in a jeep. He was labeled a criminal, prompting some policemen descended on him.

A few weeks ago, twitter user @samuel_face2 toook to his timeline to appeal to Nigerians to help him raise money to pay for his school fees. Sympathetic Nigerians reached out to him, asked for his account number and then sent him some money.


However after receiving the money, he would block his donors and refuse to correspond with them further. He would also slide into peoples DM to ask them for money. He then blocks whoevers turns him down as well as those who obliged him by sending some money.


Apparently he came online recently with a different handle to still ask for donations for his school fees.


This time around, he was caught by twitter user @duchesskk who has had an encounter with him.

@duchesskk called him out and shared some proof that he indeed is a fraudster. First bank which he was using to collect the money has flagged the account as they are investigating it. They have also refunded the money to his donors.


The alleged thief has come out to apologize for defrauding Nigerians.

A police officer identified as Sgt Thomas Agada, attached to the Nasarawa State Police Command,shot and killed himself at Masaka in Karu Local Government Area of the state yesterday June 11th.According to reports, the deceased police officers shot and injured his wife and his maid at their shop around De Memories Hotel in Masaka before killing himself.

The state police spokesperson, DSP Kennedy Idirisu, who confirmed the incident, said the wife and maid were currently receiving treatment at the Asokoro General Hospital in the FCT. Idirisu said no one knows for now what led to the act. Headded that once the injured wife and maid are stabilized, they would be able to tell the police what led to the incident.

There's a kind of virtual war going on across all social media platforms available to Nigerians, especially on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It began after a guy on Facebook called Ben Victor, who also owns a Facebook group called Ila Otu, shared a request on his wall from one of his readers.


Ben posted that the reader who has been abroad for a while and recently returned to Nigeria is suspicious that his wife might not have been faithful to him all the years he's been away and as such, he wants to carry out a DNA test on all his kids to ascertain their paternity and he was asking to be referred to a good hospital. When the post was shared, it rubbed a few people the wrong way because they felt he had no right to conduct a DNA test without his wife's knowledge,especially considering that he left her lonely for years and he was most likely not 100% faithful to her while he was away


.Soon after he shared the post, Ben got a threat from a female reader who cautioned him against bringing up the DNA test issue and warned him that he was going to destroy a lot of marriages if he continues advising men to test their kids. This led to a lot of arguments; some in support of mentaking all their kids for DNA test because a lot of women are no longer faithful.

There were those who were against the test and the drama has been going on since last night till now.

Moji Olaiya's husband, Yomi Allen was one of the many faces at the final burial ceremony of the late actress. Yomi was extremely quite and heavily guarded as he made his way to the Ikoyi cemetery.

A mutual friend of the Anambra couple who died in Kano has come to the defence of the woman.

It will be recalled that the pregnant woman identified as Anulika, set her husband, Emeka and herself ablaze at their Sabon Gari residence, in Kano over alleged infidelity.

In a Facebook post posted yesterday, Trooper described the deceased in glowing terms. Although, he admitted that she had always been hot-tempered, he, however said she would never have gone as far as killing herself and her husband.

Nine persons killed by suspected herdsmen in Akaa village, Logo Local Government Area of Benue State have been laid to rest.

The deceased were murdered by suspected herdsmen on May 7th at about 4pm.


The Benue State Police Command arrested 8 herdsmen suspected to be culpable with the killing. They would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded..Speaking at the funeral service on May 27th, in Ugba, family members of the victims described the killing of farmers in as unwarranted.


A pro-ranching pressure group, Movement Against Fulani Occupation also described the killing as a direct affront on the State government’s peace effort through ranching, as a sustainable way to achieve peaceful co-existence.The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Liaison, Mr Baba Acka, insisted on the implementation of the law.


The lawmaker representing Logo State Constituency, Honourable Kester Kyenge, also appealed to the Federal Government to wade into the incessant attacks in the state.

Facebook user, Ayo Morgan Adeyemi was allegedly paid 5 naira note alongside 500 naira notes as he withdrew money from a GTB ATM today.He took to Facebook to share what happened.

Be Careful at ATM My personal experience today, Thursday, 1st June,2017.I used my card at a GTB ATM this morning to draw some cash and to my amazement, a N5 note was pushed out alongside N500 notes to make up my total drawn amount.

I felt embarrassed seeing this and complained to the customer service / Manager. It was resolved after wasting my time to establish that it really happened.

My advice, always check your cash before leaving ATM and once notice such, use your phone to snap it as an evidence.

Google has unveiled the final plans for their luxury £1billion UK headquarters.

The 870,000 sq ft building planned for Kings Cross in London will be the first office the tech giant has designed for itself outside California.

It will have sleep pods, an Olympic sized swimming pool, wellness and fitness centre with a gym and a large indoor sports hall for games and a rooftop field with 200metre running track to ensure wellness for up to 7,000 staff.

The new office will also have a landscaped roof terrace with 'fields, gardens, meadows' and a large rooftop cafe providing free food and drink.
