PoliticsNigeria : Our Collective Responsibility by Segunp101(op): 9:43pm On Apr 12, 2020
Nigeria: our collective responsiblity.
It's becoming a tradition in Nigeria that many Nigerians find it easy and comfortable to make jokes out of sensitive and important matter relating to Nigerian government and Nigeria herself .
Nigerians are fond of shooting Nigeria down with negative words, this habit is born out of the believe that the Nigerian government is bad and that the system is corrupt. We should all know that no country in the world has attained total development, no government is the best, no system is without it's demerits.
It is imperative that we mind how we clamour for change and development in Nigeria. Our method or ways of clanging for better Nigeria is clamping Nigeria down. We can't be saying negative words and making mockery short skit about Nigeria problem and we still expect change.

Many are fond of criticizing Nigeria destructively for personal interest and in favour of opposition, there is no way we can get the desire change and development with this method. It is high time we started criticizing Nigeria and the government constructively towards national development and in the interest of the masses.
Recently the office of the accountant general of the Federal Republic of Nigeria gutted fire and the reaction of some Nigerians to that incident was uncalled for, very barbaric, calamitous and cataclysmic to national development and change we have been clanging for many years now.

The act of sectionalism and ridiculous way of critizing Nigeria among Nigeria celebrities, opposition leaders public figures and religion leaders disdain Nigeria in the international community. Nigerian celebrities are mostly found of flaunting their wealth all over social media platform while some are icon of immortalities in the country. The recent video of burna boy making mockery of the fire incident that begot the office of the accountant general of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is an act of irresponsibility, misguiding young Nigerians to give up on Nigeria, instead of encouraging them to look inward to be part of the government in order to straighten things.
Most of Nigeria public figures and leaders are fake liberator and deceptive social critic of the government, who take Nigeria problem as an opportunity to enrich and accumulate wealth for themselves.
It is due time we all know this and start taking full responsibility and making sure that Nigeria becomes a better country. Lets be positive that Nigeria will and shall be a great nation we all want and desire.

God bless you.
God bless Nigeria.
Music/RadioThe Coming Of The Marlians by Segunp101(op):
THE COMING OF THE MARLIANS
By Segun Peter
Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, rose to stardom in 2019 when he released the single Japa. He later dropped a hit track in 2018 where he featured Olamide in a song titled ‘Is a goal’. During this time his fame was not on the high side until 2019 when he had clash with a Nigeria female singer Simisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi. In April 2019, there had been a controversy on whether internet fraud known as Yahoo Yahoo is a crime or not.
Ironically, Naira Marley drew inspiration from the legendary Jamaica musical icon Bob Marley whose music revolutionized the industry as it served as a source of inspiration for anti-establishment sentiments.
The discussion started when Simi a Nigerian songwriter and producer publicly said that internet fraudsters otherwise known as yahoo boys not to listen to her songs nor promote it. According to Simi the so called yahoo boys bring dishonor to Nigeria as a country.
This comment got to Naira Marley and prompted him to write a post that Yahoo Yahoo is not a crime that anyone who knows the history of slavery would understand. This comment sparked outrage as some took side with Naira Marley while others subscribe to what Simi said, which seemingly led to a track ‘Am I A Yahoo Boy’ dropped by Naira Marley in 2019.
The controversial song ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy’ got him into trouble as he was arrested by Economic Financial Crime Commission alongside Zlatan, Rahma Jango and others. After some days EFCC released Zaltan, Rahma Jango and three others but kept Marley in their custody due to the high level of evidence against him. As a result of this occurrence, he gained sympathy from the public and this increases his fans base. It was this circumstances that increases naira Marley’s fame which gave birth to a fans base called The Marlians.
Marlians as the name suggest is the name given to some set of people who belong to the fan-base of Naira Marley who also doubles has their president, this group in their practice as some people said don’t go to school, don’t wear belt smokes weed among other things. These acts are seen as behaviours that poses great threat to the expected norms of the youth in the society. This act brings dissimilarity between youth and the elders as they were being condemned.
However, contrary to the popular opinion this group actually tries to speak up for themselves and the masses as government has over time fail to deliver the promised dividend of democracy. Initially, before the existence of the fan base called Marlians there have been consistent uproar against the government system of operation while this fan base merely served and provided a platform for the youth to fully expression their burning desire.
Nigeria government has failed in many areas ranging from unemployment, insecurity, police brutality lack of proper education among many other concerns. All of these are what the past generation fails to correct according to the Marlians who now claimed to be on the right track in addressing such issues and at it worse, bringing it to the plain for developmental discourse.

No wonder the president of the fan base has always been criticizing unfavourable government policy before and after his arrest. Naira Marley fans base in Nigeria which is more or less a reflection of Bob Marley’s Ratafarian music which is used for social emancipation. After all, it is said that for a change to take its full place it must take a form and it requires a force. Hence, the youth can lay claim to the aforementioned saying as it is obvious that the youth are using his music as a medium to express their frustration and grievances while furthering a new course for the much anticipated change.
Christianity EtcDoes God Kills, Have Hands And Know About The Evil That Befalls Man. by Segunp101(op):
This argument ensued recently, if God kills or not, if God have hands or knows anything about evil and affliction that befalls man.
My stand or position : YES! God kills and maketh alive. God knows and have hands in evil and affliction that befalls man. Hmm, this might sound odd or sound like have committed sin because some of you will sees my opinion as a statement against God.

Pragmatically I want us to know that God is not human and don't expect God to act in the way we human think or reason.

Also I subscribe to the fact that there are things that are beyond human .

Firstly I want you to understand that God knows all, he is the supernatural.

Before evil is being orchestrated against man he knew it,God can stop the evil and he can allow it to take place.

sometimes he gives rooms for things to happen in our life either good or bad, it's all for a purpose.

God said to Isaiah before you are being concieved I knew thee. So, he already knew what man is up-to , so if man think in his heart that he want to hurt his fellow man, God knew it even before the idea comes up, he can decide to stop or allow the evil to manifest, all of this does not make God bad or tyrannt.

Also don't forget the word of God won't fail, it must be fulfiled and that's why when Jesus Christ saw the suffering he prays to God to avert it but because it has been said that he will die for the sins of man God denied him answer to that request.

Bible said pharaoh heart was harden by God so that he can be destroyed, it's still all for a purpose.

In the days of Noah those who disregard Noah information and refuses to enter into the ARK were killed by God not man.

God gave satan automatic entrance into job's life to torment him if not devil has no authority or power to torment any child of God.

The Bible has it that in life there will be suffering, death and all forms of evil but as a child of God you shall overcome. God didn't promise a life free of evil. And that is why there was darkness before light, God created light to conquer darkness. The Bible says: and darkness could not comprehend or overcome light.

See! There is no victory without war. Come to think of it, how would you be able to give testimonies or thank God if we didn't triumph over any challenges or problem?. Do you think people would know how mightier God is? if we didn't face or encounter any problem or challenges.

Why would nations raise against nation? The answer is simply because it has been said before.

Why would someone triumph over a particular situation and the next thing that will come out his mouth is 'oh thank you Jesus' and when something bad happens to man the first that will come out of his mouth is 'oh my God' it shows that God is involved.

There was a time Bishop David Oyedepo's wife was sick 'after several intercession, prayers and fasting and things seems not to change, he said he told God if you heal her you are my God and if you don't heal her you are still my God'

Please get it right that God is God and he's always good and he can never be bad even if he has hands in the evil or affliction that befalls you. "Everything God does is always good, he won't do evil " .

The Bible says: gives thanks to God in every situation whether Good or bad.

Almighty God showeth mercies and have compassion on who he chooses to have it on.

If he likes he can appoint a stutter (stammerer ) to lead millions of people.

He can appoint a SSCE holder to lead a nation that have huge numbers professors and phD holders.

He can save lives and decides not to.

No one, I mean nobody can question God on whatever he does.
