I need your urgent advice pls. I live abroad but I have sent my friend to go check this estate ppty out. I have a feeling it is authentic but I saw water on some pictures of the plot that he took (on 1st June). Does anyone here know this place? Is it a place that requires heavy sand-filling before one can build? Does this soil require special foundation like raft/pile?.

To get to management will take another 2yrs minimum with lots of hard work. I will surely tell him all these and live the decision to quit Schlum or not to him. U d man!

@X-fire, Thanks. The package in Schlumberger is about $8,500= (monthly take home...I mean after tax). He is presently with Schlumberger that is why I can tell you the package there. For NNPC, he has not seen the package. He is gonna be permanent staff in both coys. More of field operations in Schlum tho'

Please, your friend is in dilemma. Which of NNPC and Schlumberger (Expat Apptmt) would you recommend for him?

This may not be outrightly true but if it is true that "there is an element of truth in all rumour" i should not be wrong to say that this shouldn't have happened, especially to Ugonna Ubuzor. why?
1. Rumour has it that, once upon a time, he was soooo kind to give a crying girl 50k to cushion her recovery from her stolen laptop. If this was true. Nigeria has lost SOMEONE cos this kind is rare today. Most peepz would only say sorry & move one.

2. I couldn't watch the video to the very end but someone commented that with broken bones and shatterd skull, Ugonna still crawled out of the fire, the mob pushed him back in, then he attempted to help the almost lifeless 3 others out of it. How strong & selfless!!!

sultaan: The Camry should be 1.5 times more expensive than the Elantra.For same price you should pick a 2.4l engine over a 1.8l.

You are going to pay too much for either anyway, but before you pay for the Camry, better find out if it has a bad history or tampered with.

Thanks Sultaan. I plan getting the Camry from the US (buy online and get it shipped down). The cost I'm talking about includes shipping and clearing. I intend buying 30,000 mileage, 6-Speed Automatic, 2.5L I4/V6, 2011 XLE. It cost around 17,500USD, shipment 1,500USD and clearing 800,000NGN which should cost like #4M plus service charge. I priced Elantra2012 @ Stallion. The leather seat type goes for #3,995,000.

About passing on the car to my wife later, I am single but my girlfriend even prefers the Camry.

I am not minimizing car stability especially at high speed cos i've driven honda civic for a few years. Even when my Honda could do more speed, i got scared to do it cos it felt too light...

@Lawyer, I never knew I could get information this rich about properties on any forum. U and other Nairalanders are doing a great job here!
Just one quick question: Is there any risk associated with buying from the much advertised properties @ Arepo (Grenadine Estate and the likes) and Mowe-Ofada (City park)? An advice as rich as the ones above will be appreciated. Also, I need your direct contact. How do I get that?

my panda antivirus tells me to allow windows update cos it detected "vulnerabilities". I suspect that my former laptop developed a serious software problem cause i was always downloading and installing updates. Should i obey this AV or ignore it? tanx, house
