School fees varies. Write the course and I will give you an approximate price. Pre course from 1200$ to 1700$. Computer science, economics, IT 2200$ to 2400$, medicine 3500$ to 4500$.

My cousin is interested in the Prep course at BMNU. We've applied for a date at the embassy, but there was no entry to put in our desired date on the website. However, we got a mail:
Dear applicant, Thank you for submitting request for the visa interview. The consular officer will review your application and after approval you will receive confirmation by email.

Important notice!!! Please submit your application only once, in case of multiple submission of one person all your application will be cancelled!

Keep in mind that coming to the Embassy without approval will be waste of your time and money!

Do we need to re-apply again, or just wait for them to pick a date for us?
Also, I heard we'll have to do so many approvals in different ministries in Abuja for the visa interview. Can one do this on his won, or must an agent be involved?

Hello,

Don't worry just wait for the second email the consular will send to you. There you will see the date and time to be at the Embassy. But if you do not receive any response after a week, you have to reapply for a date again. But better you get all documents ready so you don't have to start rushing when you get the date.
Secondly, yes you have to authenticate at ministry of education and legalize at foreign affairs in abuja you can process all your documents yourself without an agent. will be easier if you stay in abuja so you have time to ask questions so as to do the right thing. Any little mistake will cause visa refusal. So you really need time and lots of questions so as not to make any mistake. I already stated some of the common mistakes above. Do not change your signature with the one in your international passport. Some do that cos they where still very young when they first signed. Bank statement must be above 3m naira closing balance. This info you will not find in their website but can cause one to be denied visa. Good luck

Admission letter/Invitation letter for studies not a problem to get but dates for interview at the Embassy not available so will not advise going for admission letter and not having date to appear at the Embassy for visa. We hope the dates will be available soon.
For those already having dates please try not to loose the date make sure your documents are complete and well arranged. Bank statement minimum should be 3m naira 6 months. All signature you will use should be same with the one in your international passport. Some student change their signature for reasons that they where still young when they applied for international passport and since a bit matured tried changing their signature. Sorry it does not work with Ukraine embassy.
The admission now will be for pre course cos I believe by the time dates will be available, direct courses will be late.

If you wish to translate all your documents that you will be submiting at the ukrainian embassy for study visa here in nigeria and you dont know where to translate them, let me know i will assist you. Just say from nairaland.
Documents to be translated for visa are,
Undergraduate -
Waec/Neco,
Birth certificate,
Leaving school testimonial,
Medical certificate of fithness. Eco Scan or Kings Care hospital,
HIV Report certificate.

Transfer students are to include transcript

Going for Masters, Include University or its equivalent certificate acquired after graduation.

If you are talking about an E- Passport, then it is not going to be easily solved outside Abuja. If the mistake in one or two letters or alphabet then it can be solved through the Nigerian consulate in her current location.
For those saying she should just go for a new passport, that will not be possible with the e-Passport. the moment she places her fingers for finger print it will bring out the details of her current passport and will not be possible to just edit without permission from the Comptroller General of the Nigerian immigrantion.
My advice and your friends only choice if the passport is so important is to travel to Abuja, with his/her birth certificate, news paper publication of change of name with an application to the Comptroller General. with lots of documents having the name she wants to change to.
original WAEC, NATIONAL I'D, DRIVERS LICENSE ETC will help ease the process.

For now only preparatory faculty. May/June is when Ministry of Education of Ukraine through schools will start to issue for first year students.

Through studies is the best option. Your documents must go to Egypt for the visa but it takes too long and lots of patience.
The condition are so scary that the waiting period can give you heart attack. just imagine your original documents in some place that you don't even know if they are truely there for about 3 months including part payment of fees that chances of you getting back is very low if you decide to give up on waiting.

Confirmed hotel reservation, BTA atleast 1000, invitation from who? with the new law do you have any valid visa of any of the countries mentioned? if no pray they allow you board your flight from Lagos and your transit passes you through, lastly do you have real intention of returning to Nigeria before your 3 months entry expires? if no then think very well cos as I type these, more than 70 Nigerians are in Georgian Deportation Camp. if they don't know how to deal with deportation camp they will find themselves in Lagos very soon.
Please do not get scared by what I wrote its just the bitter truth but if you are the very smart type you do not have any problem. Not everything I can write in forums. Good luck

Kenya not included. Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar are all included. if you have any of these visas or residence you are good.

Ok. I did not want to share this but can see you need more info. As I said they have not stoped but introduced some more difficult conditions which are, you must have in your international passport a valid US, UK or Any Shengen Visa and some other countries. can not start naming all here. this has been the practice for turkey also for some time. which is why before we apply for Turkish e visa we first get a Mexican visa. This is what Georgia recently introduced too. secondly Georgian immigration takes police report very serious while lots of guys do not get that before they leave Nigeria. Its all about being current with information before leaving Nigeria

How will you just travel to a country that do not speak a language that you understand without an arrangement for someone to meet you at the airport. how do you even intend to tell the taxi driver where you are going to. this has nothing to do with God but common sence.

Latvia is an European and Shengen country if you have someone in any of the shengen countries, more advantages for you as you can go work during summer and return back after the holiday. visa to advanced countries are very easy from European countries. if you do not have anyone in Europe do not worry. there are no jobs for you in Latvia but there are lots of legal things Nigerians do over there to make money for instance cars are cheap there and most ship to nigeria and sell them. you will surely survive. just prepare your first year from Nigeria. Admission letter from Latvian universities not an issue. the issue is visa cos they do not have embassy in nigeria and you have to go to Egypt for visa and getting Egypt visa is war. don't want to write too much. wish you best of luck
