nkemdilem: Jeeeeeeez!!!!!! Clap for yourself, you just take stûpid to a whole new level. What do you think Ethiopia is? Some kinda 5th century country where there's no tv, not satelite dish, no radio, no Internet, no electricity? So, it's only west-African that see International news, and that is suppose to know what goes around the world. Smh. You foolishness in megabyte will power all the electricity problem in Lagos. Lol. Please I beg of you stop commenting, cuz the more you comment, the more foolish you appear. FYI, Koffi Adoboli's news was all over the news media, (including bbcnews which i'm fortunate to have in our house)he committed his crime in Britain with a reputable British bank. So, even the kiwi's who live in Newzealand will see the story if they are connected to their tv's. Lol. You said again, my profile indicate Addis Abeba, but I'm from Jimma. Pls tell me what is wrong with that. I live in Addis-ababa and I'm from Jimma. Please tell me how old you are, cuz going by your comment, you come across as a toddler using his father laptop. *pun intended* lol And concerning your question, are you a lawyer, is this some kinda cross examination? I'm not oblige to answer you, but if it will help resuscitate you comatose brain cell then I'll be happy to indulge you. So, Here you go - "nnati" = Mother "Abati" = father "nkula" = dîck. Are you satisfy? If you still have further question bring it on, I 'll indulge you. 3 Likes |

somalia11: Why do you consider Oromos your cousins, we don't share border, we don't have any historical contact, the only thing we have in common is being a muslim. And we Ethiopian muslim ain't fanatics like you Somalis. But if you say afar, i can somehow agree with you, cuz you share border with them, and afars can be found in Somali, Djibouti and Eritrea. |

Adamskuty: calm ur nerves madam, and type according to facts, actually the number one scamming nation in the world is U.S.A, then RUSSIA AND CHINA, GHANA IS NUMBER ONE IN AFRICA THEN NIGERIA,HMMM? So next time do alittle research before posting trash, swrry How? All the scam news we here over here are perpetuated by Nigerians. There's is even one particular one that happened in the US involving Nigerians. They cloned the signature of one Ethiopian government minister and transferred some funds from the US to Korea, but as God will have it, they were caught as they were about to withdrew the money in Seoul. I have never heard of Ghanians in scam, maybe they use Nigerian name to do their scam I didn't know. The only time i heard of Ghanian name( koffi Adoboli) not sir of the spelling, was 2yrs ago or so, where a Ghanian defrauded a British bank. |

nkemdilem: You 're not nut case! Have i solicited any thing from you? How dare you call me a scammer? Pls, if there's any one on this forum or any other forum that i have solicited anything from, pls feel free to come out and say it. Nigerians are known scammers world wide, and you think someone will be foolish enough to come on a Nigerian forum to scam a Nigerian who have PHD in scamming? You must be daft, slow and Moronic. Stop with your baseless, idiotic, moronic allegation, you simpleton! Just cuz someone made a thread accusing me of whatever he pulls from thin air doesn't make it true. You are really a dumb buttôm. I'm Ethiopian and I'm proud to be one. I don't owe anyone any explanation. If any one is interested in knowing me, feel free to approach me and you 'll get to know me. |

somalia11: I can see now that you an irredeemable slowpoke... Why do you have this compulsion to denigrate other people? Is it so you can feel better about yourself? What is really wrong with you? You better say it, so you can get help. I don't know where you reside, but one thing I know is you spread a lot of lie and false info in here. FYI, I know many Ethiopian girls who got married to foreigners - Ghanaian, Nigerians, Kenyans, senegalis, the list is endless. So, stop spreading false info and speak for yourself and your clans, not for Ethiopians and other Somalis. I have a close friend called Zhara who got married to a Cameroonian, they 've got 2 adorable kids. |

Beretta92: Thanks.I really don't know much about Ethiopia, but I do know that the Rastafarian culture developed from the Jamaicans who saw Emperor Haile Salassie as their messiah. And I know that Ethiopia has its own native church that has quite influenced Ethiopian culture. And of course,I know that Ethiopia has lots of beautiful women too.BTW,I thought Liberia was colonized by USA.Several of Liberia's first presidents were Americans including the murdered president Roye.Ethiopia as I know, was an empire dating back to biblical times(talk about the queen of sheba in the OT and the ethiopian eunuch in the book of acts).I don't know much about Ethiopia's current government.Yeah,I'm resident in Nigeria,Lagos precisely. I don't think Liberia was colonize, the free slaves from west indies and mostly America were settled there....but it wasn't formally colonize like the rest of Africa. You know a lot about Ethioipia, the queen of Sheba, the Ethiopian eunuch in the book of acts and off course you know that Ethiopia has a lot of beautiful girls That's good. The current Ethiopian govt is the continuation of the regime that outsted the socialist regime of Mengistu Haile Mariam otherwise known as the ( red terror regime). The current prime minister is an evangelical Christian called Haile Mariam Desalegn, he took over the reign of Government after the death of prime minister Meles Zenawi. |

Saint Chukz: ^ I am a dual-ethnic Nigerian. Firstly, i am of the Igbo ethnicity. The state i hail from in Nigeria is Delta state. Okay that's about that, the reason why i said i was dual-ethnic is because my mother is from the Edo tribe i.e the Benin Kingdom, an ancient kingdom in Nigeria with a lot of folklores and galant tales. If you read up the history of ethnic tribes in Africa especailly of West Africa - it is never complete without some facts on the great Benin kingdom. Phew...well this is not a history thread. Back to my own, like i said my father is from the igbo speaking area of the oil-rich Delta state of Nigeria,so authentically i'm igbo by ethnicity even though i barely know how to speak my language (hides face), but that's my father's doing he should have taught us how to. But nevertheless i'm still proudly igbo. There are a lot of interesting facts about my culture and where i come from, but one quick one i may mention here is the special clothing attire called;- Akwa-ocha(i hope i got that right) meaning - white cloth. It is a woven cotton fabric usually done by the women from my area. It is easily one of the identities of my culture. Wow, this is lovely! Actually the human race is unique, cuz are all created by God. Thanks for the info about your culture and good to know that you are of mix ethnic background and i love the fact that you are proud of it. Everyone seems to come from the Igbo tribe, at least from the people that have responded. Are the Igbo the most populated tribe in Nigeria? Do you know anything about the Ethiopia? |

Beretta92: I am of the Igala tribe. The Igalas are majorly found in Kogi state in Nigeria. They are the largest tribe in that state.Sparse populations of Igalas are also found in Anambra,Enugu and Delta States. The dialects of these igala minors are similar but markedly different from those in Kogi state though they can still understand each other.I am an Igala from Anambra state and our culture is very similar to that of the igbo.We speak ibo(the language of the igbo tribe)as well as igala and bear both igbo and igala names. The igbo tribe is a major tribe in Nigeria. You can learn more about the igbo tribe from google.Chinua Achebe, the recently deceased novelist was igbo and a lot about the tribe can be learnt from his books too .Another tribe with a very rich culture in Nigeria is the Yoruba. It is also a major tribe in Nigeria. Some Yorubas called Okun are also found in Kogi State. Wow! You 're one unique Nigerian. I love the fact that you took your time to explain yourself to me, i must commend you for that. And your post was insightdful too. I have taken my time too to google and learn more about the igala tribe. According to what i googled, I think the igala's can be found more in Kogi state and sparsely in neighboring states. I also learn of Chinua Achebe one of African litrary icon, he passed away recently. Do you know about the Ethiopian culture/history? Do you know that Liberia and Ethiopia are the only 2 countries in Africa that were not colonize? Do you live in Nigeria? |
