Career › Re: PHOTO: Muslim Lady Denied Being Called To The Nigerian Bar For Wearing Hijab by senrique: 7:43am On Dec 15, 2017 |
She wasn't the only Muslim called to bar I guess. Just saying cos I know some Muslim's that were called to bar and they dressed according to the profession. Lawyers I know have laid down dress code and to be accepted into the profession you need to abide to it. We all knew this before going for the profession. post=63274039: A Muslim lady was denied being called to the Nigerian bar for wearing a Hijab!
Here’s what fellow lawyer @savvy_ruqqy wrote;
Good morning everyone, I want to use this medium to express my dissatisfaction with the way muslims are treated in this my profession called ‘LAW’. A sister wasn’t called to the bar because she was dressed like that (Picture above) please for God sake what is wrong with that picture? Because she was putting on a small hijab tucked into her collarette, WHY? What has Hijab done to them? Where is our freedom of Religion as stated in the constitution? We need justice…For those that don’t know, Hijab is a MANDATORY part of my religion not just a piece of clothing, so if my freedom of religion is said to have been guaranteed in section 38 of the constitution of my country that is said to be supreme and have have binding force over all as seen in section 1 of this same constitution and Section 42 of this same constitution guarantees my right to freedom from discrimination, please for God sake what is this then and before you come here attack me, please read section 38 (1) and section 1 (1) first and also go ahead to read S1 (3) of this same constitution with an unbiased mind where it is said that if any other law is inconsistent with the provisions of this constitution this constitution shall prevail…B’iko what are we now talking about? Please we want justice. We want our hijab we want #JusticeForFirdaus We want to wear our hijabs for call to bar we want to wear it in the court room. Stop the discrimination We are muslims not terrorists Hijab is Mandatory We want Justice for Firdaus

If you can build your house to taste so you can habit, why cant you build an edifice for people to gather to worship God. Solomon built a temple with impeccable finishing using materials ranging from gold, silver and the rest (1kings 6, 2Chron 3 or visit http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/the-first-temple-solomon-s-temple for better description of the temple he built. Now I ask, is there any church building in Africa, let alone the world that is close in comparison to this? the answer is NO. If he wasn't questioned in the past but praise for building such for God, why are we then questioning the pastors of present age. Dont get me wrong, am not saying going about building edifice in detriment of the work of God (soul winning, giving alms to the poor, evangelism). There is no pastor that forces anyone to give, in giving you are not doing them good but yourself. so if you dont give, be quiet and let others give. dont go about lashing out...... Nnemuka: I wonder why African's think building expensive auditoriums and stadiums instead of focusing on the SOUL winning is the best thing to do for God... Vanity upon vanity... Stop asking for money in billions, focus on winning souls for christ even from a tent house. |

Is there a different gospel of Christ? Or is it only Christ Embassy that has the gospel that you referring to the one according to Christ Embassy. Just a question though. jared007: Donnie fight to ensure this thread hits front page.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Christ Embassy is gonna overun Zimbabwe just like we did to South Africa. |

08169464517 razhi: I have read a lot here on nairaland on how to make money. Some are true, some are false but to my surprise nobody has mentioned the easiest of them all. Survey, maybe its because it pays smaller compare to others but still there are upto two websites that I personally guarantee will pay 1:50 dollars per completion of each task. One task per day, some sites pay up to 5dollars. Come on Naija stop been greedy. 3 dollars for a month is 90dollars multiply it by the current exchange rate and you will have almost 30thousand naira per month. Like i said, this is only for the non greedy people. u can google the authenticity of the surveys. for example just type survysavvy or mysurvey on google and it will show all you need to know. The only problem is that this offers are only available for people in United State. But if you already have a paypal account and you already have a USA address, you are good to go. But if you are interested in creating a new paypal account and creating a US address, its just #2500. drop ur email account if interested or whatsapp 08125853168
please stop sending message to the email on my signature. I dont have access to it anymore. I'm currently using business701@yahoo.com or better still drop ur whatsapp number |
