Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sad demise of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope. The actor and three of his colleagues were coming back from a movie location in a boat when they fell into Anam River in Anambra state.

1. Early life and Education: Akindele was born on 24 August 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. She is Yoruba. She is the second of three children (two girls and one boy). Her mother is a medical doctor while her father is a retired school principal. Gbagada, Lagos State. Ikorodu Bois is a Nigerian online comedy group that recreates and mimics multi-million dollar music videos, Hollywood movie trailers and epic pictures.

Ikorodu Bois comprises three siblings namely, Babatunde Sanni, Muiz Sanni, Malik Sanni, and their cousin, Fawas Aina.
The three young boys are usually involved in the acting of the videos while their eldest brother, Babatunde Sanni does the editing of the videos. He also doubles as the group's manager.
The group makes use of common household items to depict top gears used in movies. Popular among these items is the use of local wheelbarrows to replicate luxury cars, an idea which was first exhibited by Kaptain Kush.
The name Ikorodu Bois is dubbed from a town called Ikorodu in Lagos, Nigeria, where the boys live.

The group began in 2018 when Babatunde Sanni decided to share their skills with the world via social media. (In an interview with CNN, Sanni said, "I felt like 'these things we are doing in our house, why don't we start putting them online?". He added that "our house is like a comedy house, we play too much".)

Hollywood producers, Russo brothers, invited Ikorodu Bois to attend the premiere of the movie, Extraction 2 after the group re-enacted the trailer of the movie and posted it on Twitter and Instagram.
In April 2020, US actor and rapper, Will Smith, shared a clip of Ikorodu Bois' reenactment of Bad Boys Forever on his Instagram page with the caption: "This is GENIUS @ikorodu_bois!!".
Alvaro Morte who starred as Professor in the movie, Money Heist, remarked, "What an amazing job", after watching a mimicry of the Spanish series.
Ikorodu Bois have also done replica videos of DJ Cuppy, Davido, Funke Akindele, American Actor and WWE star, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Roddy Ricch, Justin Bieber and Nigerian President, Mohammadu Buhari.
They also did a farewell replica of NBA Star Kobe Bryant shortly after his death.
In April 2021, they featured in a Netflix Oscar Weekend Film Brand Campaign which was on display at Time's Square in New York City. In the previous year, they had been gifted filming equipment by Netflix.
One of the boys Malik Sanni was one of the cast of the movie “Gangs of Lagos” as young Oba.
They were nominated for Favorite African Social Media Star by Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2021.

Nigeria, known for its rich culture and diversity, has a plethora of captivating dances that have captivated audiences for generations. Nigerians love to dance . Many Nigerian artists know this, so they are always making songs for the hottest dance, or – for the more creative ones – creating a new dance move for fans to rock to and increase the shelf life of their songs. Some of these dance steps were not invented by Nigerian artists, but the moment they crossed into our airwaves, we made them our own, and created mad jamz around them.

1. Zanku Dance. It was introduced by Zlatan Ibile in late 2018, The Zanku Dance involves quick legwork, often performed with hands raised in the air. Its infectious rhythm and captivating moves have made it a staple in clubs, parties, and music videos

2. Shaku Shaku Dance. This street dance originated in the streets of Lagos and has taken the Nigerian music scene by storm. With its unique leg movements and shoulder shrugs, the Shaku Shaku Dance has become synonymous with the Afrobeat genre and has even garnered international recognition.

3. Azonto Dance. Originating from Ghana but adopted by Nigerians, it was originally created by Ghanaian singer Fuse ODG when his hit song of the same name was released in 2011 the Azonto Dance quickly became a sensation. Wizkid stepped in to show his patriotism by doing a freestyle on it. The new video went viral and gained more views than even the original video from Fuse himself. The dance incorporates a variety of moves, including hand gestures, footwork, and body isolations. Azonto Dance is known for its fun, freestyle nature, allowing dancers to showcase their creativity.

4. Alanta Dance. This energetic and humorous dance took Nigeria by storm. Alanta became a house hold name in the dance moves trend in. Nigeria around 2007/2008. The dance is Credited to music duo ArtQuake, The Alanta Dance involves exaggerated leg and arm movements, often imitating the actions of a drunk person. It gained massive popularity, with people of all ages joining in the fun.

5. Etighi dance also known as Kukere dance. Hailing from the south-south region of Nigeria, this dance style blends traditional movements with contemporary flair. It became mainstream popular when Nigerian Singer Iyanya; who is from this region released the video for his hit single, Kukere in 2012. It features graceful steps, hip swings, and hand gestures that create a visually captivating performance. The Etighi Dance is commonly performed during cultural festivals and social gatherings.

6. Sekem dance. This dance style was popularized by Nigerian artist Mc Galaxy, and it became a viral sensation. The Sekem Dance involves rhythmic body movements, including twisting, swaying, and shaking. Its catchy music and easy-to-follow steps make it a favorite choice for parties and celebrations.

7. Galala Dance. This dance step is associated with “the ghetto” or Ajegunle, Lagos. It originated from the pseudo-reggae sound made popular by artistes like Ras Kimono, Blacky, Fada U Turn, etc. the Galala Dance was a prominent dance style during the era of Nigerian music legend Daddy Showkey. This energetic dance involves fast footwork, waist rotations, and arm movements. The Galala Dance was a symbol of street culture and self-expression.

8. Makossa Dance. Originating from Cameroon but widely embraced in Nigeria, the Makossa Dance is a vibrant and sensual dance style. It combines quick waist movements, hip rotations, and footwork. Makossa means “dance” in the native tongue of Douala in Cameroon, makossa was probably the first dance trend of the 2000s. With it, artistes like Awilo Longomba and Koffi Olamide toured all over Africa, and Makossa soon spread like wildfire, becoming one of the most popular Nigerian dances, even till date. The Makossa Dance has been featured in numerous Nigerian music videos, showcasing the nation's love for this dance.

9. Skelewu Dance. Created by Nigerian music superstar Davido, in the music video for his 2013 record of the same name. In a much more concerted effort to create a dance hit, the release of the song was coupled with a social media competition for the most liked rendition of the dance. Fairly simple, the dance is comprised of a backwards rolling of the shoulders with one arm continually extended and the other arm placed either on your waist or on your chest.

Azo Aduba: Uzoamaka Nwanneka “Uzo” Aduba was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Nigerian parents.she is best known for her portrayal of Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on the Netflix original series “Orange Is the New Black” for which she received an Emmy Award. She also portrayed Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman elected to the United States Congress, in Hulu’s Mrs. America.
6. David Oyewolo: Actor and producer David Oyetokunbo Oyelowo was born in Oxford, England. His family relocated to Lagos when he was six years old. His father is from Oyo State, while his mother is from Edo State.  When he was 14, his family returned to the United Kingdom. His most well-known role to date was that of Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2014 biographical drama film “Selma”. He has also appeared in films such as “Middle of Nowhere”, Lincoln”, The Butler” (and “Blood and Oil” a film about Niger-Delta, oil, and militancy in Nigeria).
7. Forest Whittaker: Forest Steven Whitaker, born July 15, 1961, is an American actor, producer, director, and activist. He is the recipient of such accolades as an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Although he was born in Longview, Texas, his ancestral heritage has been traced back to the Igbo tribe in Nigeria. A DNA test has shown that his mother had Akan ancestry, while his father was of Igbo descent. Whitaker is known for his role as dictator Idi Amin of Uganda in the 2006 film, The Last King of Scotland. The movie star has been credited to boasting about his Nigerian heritage with these words, “I am proud of my Nigerian Igboland lineage. I have Nigerian blood flowing in my veins. I am from the Nkwerre community in Imo State, which is why I visit Nigeria three times every year Nigeria is my home, Africa is my root.”
9. Olurotimi Akinosho: Olurotimi Akinosho, better known as Rotimi, is an actor, singer, and model. Rotimi was born in Maplewood, New Jersey, to Nigerian parents; his father was an investment banker of Yoruba origin, and his mother was a government employee of Igbo origin. Rotimi is best known for his roles as Darius Morrison on the Starz series “Boss” and Andre Coleman in “Power”. He has also appeared in films such as “Acts of Violence” and “Coming 2 America” among others
11. Yvonne Orji: Yvonne Orji, a Nigerian-American actress, was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria to Nigerian parents but raised in Maryland, USA. Yvonne is best known for her role as Issa Rae’s best friend in the HBO series “Insecure.” She has appeared in a number of films, including “Jane The Virgin, Flip the script, Night School” and “Vacation Friends”
12. Adewale Akinuonye Agbaje: Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a former fashion model and Nigerian-American actor, director, and producer. He is best known for his roles in the films “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, The Mummy Returns, Pompeii” and “The Bourne Identity” as well as the television series “Lost”. He also appeared on the popular television show “Game of Thrones”. Akinnuoye-Agbaje was born in Washington, D.C. to Nigerian parents. His biological parents abandoned him at the age of six weeks to a white working-class family in Tilbury, Essex
13. Adetomiwa Edun: Babatunde Adetomiwa Stafford “Tomiwa” Edun is a British actor of Nigerian origin. He is best known for his roles as Sir Elyan in “Merlin”, “Bates Motel” and Alex Hunter in the football video games FIFA 17, FIFA 18, and FIFA 19. Edun was born in Lagos, Nigeria, to a Nigerian father and a mother who is half-Ghanaian and half-English.
