so how much do I need to raise more and which make of car are we looking at

my wife is in love with Audi 80 auto gear. all my advice for a Toyota car fell on deaf ears but my concern is about the effectiveness of Audi 80 auto transmission and any failure issues.

I have observed recently that there are many Audi 80 with auto transmission on sale at the road side and even car stands. is it that the auto gear has issues or is it a coincidence. please comment as I intend to get one for my wife soon.
