Okay, so I've been using the Redmi note 7 for exactly a week.
I got the neptune blue 4 + 64 version with Global Rom. I'm especially thankful that it's the global version cause there was no indication on the section I ordered from and those with Global version explicitly stated were 100k+ and man was not about to spend that amount . I got it from Ojays store on Jumia app for 69,800.

Here are my honest and unbiased thoughts
1. The battery is good, not great but it's certainly very decent. You can get 10+ hrs SOT from 100% with data/wifi on for normal usage, without data you'd get some extra hours. With heavy usage(Gaming with data on), you can get 7.5+hrs SOT. I once played critical ops, an online multiplayer game with max graphics(of course, no lags) for almost 5hrs straight and my battery reduced by about 45%. So battery wise, it's pretty good. And you should know that some range of percentages last better than others. Like your battery might drain from 100 - 95 in about 20minutes but others like 60 - 55 could last double of that. So it's something to take note of.

2. The Speakers are good, it produces good quality and it's pretty loud

3. The Camera is pretty good. I haven't taken that many pictures but the few I've taken with the back camera are consistently good. The front camera is also decent. But in a few cases, you might notice some noise(on both the front and back cam pictures). So it's something to take note of. I haven't used Gcam so I might have a different say if I did.

4. Performance - This is definitely the highlight and sweet spot of the phone for me, I've not experienced any sort of lag/hanging whatsoever. Operations have been smooth. I haven't played a lot of games but the ones I've played, I've thoroughly enjoyed the experience, so in this area it's great for me.

5. Display - The display is pretty sharp and crisp but most of the time, I use the reading mode in order to protect my eyes lol

6. The Charger that comes with the phone is pretty fast but not blazing fast. I charged my phone from 1% to 100% in 2hrs+ (Let's say 2hrs 10 mins). It actually charges pretty quickly(with about 35secs - 1min+ per % increase) until it gets to 90% and then it massively slows downs(which is weird to me since 100 - 90 lasts the least when compared to the other percentage ranges)

7. MIUI is actually very good and is pretty similar to the IOS interface. There are noticeable ads but there are ways you can get rid of that. There's a lot of customisation and I'm totally in love with the full screen gestures. So I really love the UI

8. The build and design is another cool aspect. I got the Neptune Blue and it's so beautiful and satisfying to look at. I even get a lot of comments about how cool it looks.

Overall, the phone is very good and for the price it's an awesome bargain. I highly recommend it.

I haven't gotten a screen protector yet cause I don't know which one to get. I've seen a lot on Jumia and I would like your recommendations. I want one that looks good and won't dull my display. Or if anyone here has and can deliver to Abeokuta before Friday at a reasonable price, you can also quote me.

Pointek sells the 4/64 Global Version. There's no need to ship it in. Either go to their store to buy or order online and have them deliver it to you

Please has anyone ordered the note 7 on Jumia. I'm thinking of getting the 4 + 64 variant blue/black(still undecided on the colour) but I'm quite disturbed by this Chinese and global version issue. The ones that have the Global version explicitly stated are usually shipped from overseas and the E.T.A is about a month(I really don't have that time). Does this explicitly mean that the others are not the global version or what? I just want to sort this out before I order cause I don't want any issues that I could have avoided. Thanks.

those are the forms u will fill after making ur acceptance fee payment e.g undertaking form, medical form, jamb B001 etc

fine. Is your statement of result a very very clear copy? Because if it isn't it can also lead to disqualification. That's why it's advised to bring your original result but if you don't have it as the other guy said a clear color printed statement of result will do.

The original result issued by waec. You can use also use the one printed from the site, make sure it's coloured.

For me, it was the statement of result that I uploaded on ui's website during screening and you are saying that we shouldn't submit the statement of result and it is stated on ui's website that presentation of credentials different from what was uploaded will lead to disqualification....

u sure??cuz Its just something I came up with when I was trying to find an explanation for the calculation of her score..... But for it to be the system used, it seems unfair for those with 2 sittings

well, I don't really understand how they calculated ur score cuz from their instructions I tried calculating ur score and u were getting over 50, although I came up with a scenario but it would be stupid of U. I to have used this

Ur jamb score/8 =27.125
Ur o'level grades= 4+3+4+3+5+0.5(the 0.5 is the deficiency from the first sitting gotten from the second sitting/2)= 19.5 - 6(because of the extra subject) = 13.5/30 *50 = 22.5
22.5+ 27.125= 49.625...

I dont think this is the method they used but if it happens to be, then those guys have a problem..

For those of u who are worried bcuz ur o'level result is not showing in the frame.... When I uploaded mine abt a week ago, it didn't show in the frame but it showed result uploaded.... I decided to access the website today cuz I wanted to get a coloured print out of my registration slip(the former was black and white) and to my surprise, the o'level result was showing in that picture frame.... If u also experienced such, u can go and check whether urs is also showing now

The "ur application is still ongoing" is perfectly normal after u've completed the registration, when u click on the bio-data tab, it will show u that ur registration has been completed.... but the only prob now is that ur passport is supposed to show on ur print out..

I honestly don't know...... I didn't think it was possible to change anything after attestation, so I went to their website and even though it showed registration completed, my bio data was editable, but when I tried editing, it later showed me that my registration is not complete and I had to do the attestation again...... So I suggest that after u click attestation and u see these items in the screenshot below....do not try to edit ur bio-data cuz this UI thing is not consistent..
