When the idea of pay per second came up those days, MTN said it wasnt possible not until glo implemented it. The same scenario is here again, DSTV may not make any changes to the current plan until there is a very strong opposition. Nigeria had the opportunity during thr time of HITV but we misused the oppotunity because we lack busineas discipline... Not until we get a strong opposition for DSTV, i can assure u that we will all be blabbing.......

Well if they are in opebi, its a good one. If its something you never applied for i guess you should check your records of sent emails very well cos ARM is a reputable company. You could also confirm if the email was sent using @ their domain name and not some1's personal account.

It could as well be a Sales Rep job cos most life companies recruit sales reps from to to time.

BusinessSEC Unveils Rules For Trading In Unlisted Companies by seunbobo(op): 11:12pm On Apr 02, 2015
The Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) has released a new rule as regards trading of unlisted companies.

a.All Securities of unlisted public companies shall be bought, sold or
transferred only by means of a system approved by the Commission
and under such terms and conditions as the Commission may
prescribe from time to time.
b. No person shall buy, sell or otherwise transfer securities of an unlisted
public company except through the platform of a registered securities
exchange established for the purpose of facilitating over-the-counter
trading of securities.
c. Any unlisted public company, director, company secretary, registrar,
broker/dealer or such other persons who facilitate the buying, selling
or transfers of the securities of an unlisted public company otherwise
than through the platform of a duly registered securities exchange,
shall be liable to a penalty of not less than N100, 000 in the first
instance and not more than N5, 000 for every day of default.

It is therefore means that all trades in unlisted companies should happen on a SEC recognised platform such as the NASD OTC. Investors of unlisted companies should approach an OTC licensed broker to trade them on their behalf. Kindly visit www.nasdng.com for more information on licensed otc brokers, daily pricelists of securities amongst several others.

Trading on the NASD OTC is synonymous to trading on the NSE. This because all trades are done electeomically and would require that the investor demateriaze his shares into CSCS and obtain a NASD/CSCS account number. Visit the NASD OTC website or reach them on 01-4605008 For further enquiries.
InvestmentTrading In Unlisted Securities Off A SEC Recognised Platform Now Illegal by seunbobo(op): 10:14pm On Apr 02, 2015
SEC has issued a circular effective immediately on its website stating that it is now illegal to trade unlisted securities off a SEC recognised platform. The implication of this new rule is that investors in unlisted companies who seek to trade their holdings should approach an OTC registered broker to trade them on their behalf on a SEC recognised platform such as the NASD OTC.

An unlisted company is a company's shares not trading on the traditional exchange ( Nigerian Stock Exchange) such as Friesland Campina WAMCO, IGI Plc, Acorn Petroleum Plc, Geo-fluids Plc, SWAPS Technologies Plc, FAN Milk, Lacasera Plc,Dufil Prima Plc (Indomie) CSCS Plc etc..

The NASD OTC is a SEC recognised platform where trades of unlisted/unquoted companies are facilitated and executed. NASD OTC currently have 20 trading securities available to trade on its platform. Pls check NASD's website for more information on its approved brokers, pricelists and many other information that will interest you.

InvestmentRe: Private Placements ---- Nasd Otc by seunbobo(op): 9:51pm On Jan 30, 2015
All unquoted companies can be traded if their existing securities has been registered with SEC. There are some unquoted companies that can be traded on NASD but are not currently. The reason is because they havent been introduced yet by either a broker or an issuing house. Example of eligible companies not trading yet include fan milk, bankers warehouse, funman juice etc....

I will post the complete list of eligible companies soon, however people who have certificates of the above mentioned companies can approach their brokers to trade them.
InvestmentPrivate Placements ---- Nasd Otc by seunbobo(op): 4:14pm On Jan 30, 2015
