isacolukay:When exactly would u like to ge meet ur maker, bro? So,we can start then. Even if na right nw |
@mindfulness, i feel u. None of us will ever get that down IJN. |
Especially as people remarry for different reasons. What solution would u profer? |
Mindfulness:I appreciate your view, it's my view too. In some of these cases, i believe neither the man nor the woman could do anything about it,no matter how hard they tried. Hence, the children died. A faithful wife stays till the end, yes. In out society tho, people di different things to survive. If the woman decides to leave because neither her nor her husband can cater, will that be wrong? Is it a better option to let the children die? |
I personally think this is an issue of being stuck between being a good mother and being a good wife. Women, which one will u pick? Guys, which one donu think should be picked? |
Make una check this one out! You know popular pastor John.G. Lake? He was an nice man, so generous that he took care of church members over his first family, his first children soon left home and his initial wife died of malnutrition. Have you heard of Carl/karl marx? At a time he was so poor that out of 7 children, only 3 survived. 4 died of malnutrition and starvation. But their wives remained faithful and did not leave them. This is not in praise of faithful wives. Some women leave their husbands when things are rocky and dry, not because they want to but out of love for their children. They do not want their children to suffer, quit school or die simply because head of the home is broke. Some of them would rather leave their homes and get married to more capable men, out of love for their children. If John Lake's wife had done this, she wouldn't have died of malnutrition. If carl Marx's wife had done this, her children wouldn't have died. She would have protected her children. What are your views on this? Did this women do right by their children in not abandoning their husbands? Were they good mothers? Note: This is purely to sample opinions and not to assert or deny a moral stand. Cc: lalasticlala, abeg front page tins o. Mods, abeg frontpage tins. Somebody might need this. ![]() |

meeky007:Chimpanzee patience |
Samtob90:That is exactly my point. It isn't doing badly. So far, it has been more effective when u consider the conditions |
Samtob90:My point exactly, bro |
Naija9090:U really think this is bias? Okay,u judge performance based on th3 criteria i gave u |
asuustrike2009:I don't think they are as clueless as the last govt. They know to go about security, they actually taking measures in trying to tackle the economic issues, witch hunting or not, they are trying to clampdown on corruption and not trying to tell us difference btw stealing and corruption. Not an A but pass mark so far |
oshe11:6,8,10,12. Number 7,he didn't do. It was simply an issued of rebased Gdp. I hope u did economics, bro cos i for explain but no ba3. I can't defend him on issues of allowances and jet money,i still wonder what that was about. But the ones i mentioned and some of the others are just some of the things that come naturally in austerity periods. Nd i'm not out to paint buhari as a saint. I am tired of the wailing people do coa of the problems we have now. Where were thr wailers when d problems were being caused? When d time for reckoning comes,i believe buhari won't fail us. So far, considering the problems he inherited, he is doing good to me. |
oshe11:Guy,most of d problems u highlighted are aftermaths of last government's mismanagement that he has the task of solving and u know it. |
xandy84:Bro,maybe u misunderstood me I wasn't saying he has transformed the economy. I said he is "smarting under". I used a continous tense. That says it's still a worm in progress but yeah,i can see the work |
yemobrown:Guy,if we upload pics,i go fine pass u. |
chudionu58:Beast of biafra |
xandy84:Well,then give ur own "enlightened" analysis. If what i av written is wrong, then disprove it. But as usual, wailers ain't got nothing to say. Just noise making here and there |
Samtoby:Brother, why u dey bother yourself? Does he even know what parallel means? He probably thinks it means the other side |
This rating is based on four criteria; 1)Security 2)impact on the economy 3)Fuel supply and pump price 4)Clampdown on corruption. Security During GEJ's tenure, boko haram menaced uncurbed for years, until election time. Popular opinion is GEJ needed to look good for re-election,so he then decided to focus on dealing with the miscreants. The Buhari led government on the other hand, has no chill for either boko haram or militant groups and the Nigerian army has consistently been on top of the BH situation. Buhari's administration is also the first in recent years,to actually go about tackling the issue of fulani herdsmen rampage. It is safe to say Buhari's government has been more efficient and more effective in terms of security. Economy Jonathan inherited a heavy foreign reserve and fair economic conditions. Oil per barrel price was at the highest ever. Despite the fact that this was a point to save, all this fund was mismanaged to the point of indebtedness. The level of mismanagement still beats my imagination. Buhari inherited these conditions, worsened by the drop in oil per barrel price.Yet he is smarting under the burden, showing good moves like the new deal with china as a means to resuscitate our almost collapsed economy. Fuel supply and pump price When fuel price increased under buhari,PDP supporters kept calling for his head as though they were not aware that all this mess is just an aftermath of the gross mismanagement of the previous government. As of this morning, i bought petrol at the pump price of #120 per liter as against #220 per liter, here in benin city. Is Buhari not working? Clampdown on corruption It is the job of the EFCC to apprehended suspected financial criminals. It is up to the judiciary to either convict them or acquit them. The Jonathan led administration largely tolerated financial crimes and mismanagement. Buhari's government on the othet hand, has shown zero chill for suspected financial criminals. The major difference between the two governmens is that one is effective and efficient, the other was not. Note that GEJ could not handle the country during better times but Buhari has shown signs of better performance even under adverse conditions. Yet, Fayose wants the man to resign simply because "he is my grandfather". Fayose says an ineffective and inefficient GEJ is better than a problem solving Buhari. As a Nigerian who is concerned about his security, as a Nigerian who actually sweats to obtain petrol, as a Nigerian who suffers from the economic situation created by the past governments, as a Nigerian who wants an end to corrupt practices, i say; Nigerians, do not listen to Fayose, who went to china in efforts to hinder steps at bettering conditions. Let us support Buhari because things are getting better. He is solving problems he did not create and this will take some time. But it is evident that CHANGE IS COMING! |
During GEJ's tenure, boko haram menaces were practically uncurbed until it was time for election. The popular opinion is that he needed to look good, so he began to get really serious about it. Basically that means selfish interests spurred the inefficient and ineffective government on. Meanwhile, in buhari's tenure, the menace has been visibly put undet a certain level of control with the Nigerian army having the upper hand, unlike in the last government. Bihari's government has also been the first government in recent years to put measures down to tackle the fulani herdsmen menace, head on. This means buhari's government can boast of better security than GEJ's govt. Before Jonathan left the seat, we all know that they ran the economy into the ground in a manner that any good economist can tell was pushing the country to self-destruct. All this was during a period of oil boom when we were supposed to be saving. Buhari's government inherited all this at a time when there was oil doom and indebtedness. Pdp faithfuls kept on heaping the blame of the hiked fuel price on buhari, as if they were unaware of the situation pdp left Nigeria in. Fuel sold at #200 and above here in benin city. Today, i bought fuel at #120, to the shame of the PDP. If GEJ could not handle the country when there was plenty, do u think he would have been able to handle the country under the conditions buhari is handling them? You think what buhari would have done if he had inherited GEJ's conditions. Fayose asked him to resign because he is old. Fayose said the younget Jonathan who could not handle fine economic conditions was a better candidate. Writing as a Nigerian who buys fuel, writing as a Nigerian who is actually concerned about his country unlike Fayose who went to china in a bid to halt our attempts at progress and unlike Fayose who would rsther have us hire an incompetent to be President, i believe that someone who can handle hell is a better option than someone who can't handle a nice weather. I use this medium to appeal to all Nigerians to try to bear the hardship previous administrations have put us through even as Buhari effectively and efficiently does his best to reduce the burden. Let us not listen to the Fayose's who want competent people to stepdown, while he supports the obviously incompetent. This is our country. It doesn't belong to any political party. Things are getting better and change is on the way. |
Jesusloveyou:Damn!! That was harsh. Lol |
